I have a silly old One Direction watch that I’m too embarrassed to take to a professional 😂 now I can change the battery myself, thank you!!
Haha! Never be embarrassed of being a Directioner! Glad we could help 😊
2:11 was the part I needed help with, thanks!
My mom passed on to me my grandmother's watch. Hoping I can change the battery myself but if it looks risky, I'm going to have someone else to do it. I greatly thank you for this video because it gives me a place to start.
Did you end up changing it by yourself
Absolutely brilliant video! Great quality and straight to the point. Very knowledgeable as well! (Will Subscribe immediately)
So glad you enjoyed! 💚
Great video, straight to the point and spectacular filming, thank you for your knowledge sharing!
What to do when there are no screws and no indentation to put a prying tool in?
Also you can use a small bottle or pill bottle and hot glue it to the case back in the center. The case back will screw off by twisting the bottle. When you screw it back on put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes and snap the bottle off the case back. If the glue is stuck to the case back it will peel off.
I can't tell you the fury I felt when I realized that my Invicta was supposed to be pried off and not twisted. Thanks for the video. 😂
I guess i'm going have to change it myself. The places I usally went are no longer in business or don't have that service.
Does anyone know if you could use a screwdriver or something else to open the snapback watch? I don't want to spend more money on a knife that I'm going to use once.
If you don’t mind a couple scratches then go for it
The back of my watch has no notches or screws anywhere ?
Thank able get battery out fixing my watch bought it and the battery was dead today really like my watch because it’s Comic DC Super hero watch Wonder Woman one 😊
How to snap ON the watch back after opening it? It's like they won't fit together anymore. I even used hammer!
Why would you use a hammer on a delicate watch, just take it to a professional at that point
That Second Watch Back was all ready OFF …..🤪
Can you just use a normal knife or deose it have to be a special one
I tried but i coulsnt get in there, it has to be really sharp
N(o)ice!!!
SOME WRISTWATCHES DO NOT REQUIRE A BATTERY, THEY SIMPLY NEED TO BE WOUND UP ESSENTIALLY USING MECHANICAL ENERGY IN LIEU OF CHEMICAL ENERGY
The thing I needed to know - that you have to loosen a screw to get the battery out - is not even mentioned, in the yards and yards of chat. Sorry.
Come On ….. My Watch Only Costs £12.50 and has keep perfect Time for 3 Years… Now A 🆕 Battery 🔋 🥳 🏴😎
INformation starts about 2 minutes in
