Nice review. Just a couple of corrections - This is a mid-size (not full-size) crossover fitting in with its competition such as the Highlander and Explorer. The CX-5 below it is a compact crossover. The other being that the Signature also comes in silver. Sorry to nitpick.
I have 3 small things I wished this had 1, heated rear seats 2, Ventilated front seats (the seats even have the perforations for them!) and lastly 3, LED rear turn signals.
good video I like it .. there is no Entertainment System in back seat it's a very horrible drop back it should be a family car .. do you know any other cars which have a nice entertainment system in the back seat . I have 3 kids a long drive with kids you know how it goes .. :)
The seats are very comfortable even for someone of my frame (6'1" and 185 lbs). The leather is a lot more supple with these Nappa leather seats, but since I've not tested the standard seats in a GT or cloth in a lower trim, I can say that so far, these are the best in terms of the CX-9s comfort. Adjustability is good too, at least 4 way lumbar, 4 way distance/ height control and recline...so all in all, it's very easy to get your seating position just right.
Sort of but not quite. The compression ratio is different (13:1 vs. 10.5:1), it has a new 4-3-1 exhaust system to accommodate for the turbo but apart from that, you are correct.

Thanks for the corrections. I was always told it was a full size crossover (with 3-rows of seats), but anyways thanks for the heads up.
The CX-9 is a real competitor in the SUV segment but the real tale to be told is when the next-gen arrives

Neither the headlights or fog lights are HID. They are both full LED bulbs.
The DRLs , headlights and signal lights are actually ALL LEDs standard across all models
I have the AWD Grand Touring and I really like it!

Every new Mazda has this redesigned front now, even the China based cx4 got it, cx5 is the only one left in the lineup still outdated.

It's an all new 2.5L Skyactiv Turbo 4-cylinder w/ 250 hp and 310 lb/ft of torque.
+GrandPrixGTP02 so it's the same engine of the cx5 but with turbo
