yeah but that doesn't matter much. Most people buying Murano's are not towing trailers. The pathfinder with the same engine and cvt can tow 6000 pounds.
I've got a '16 Mazda 6 touring (6 speed manual) and am very impressed by its fit, finish, and performance. Mazda is making some really beautiful vehicles that stand out and are well priced.
tantivymuckermaffikk Yeah the Mazda 6 looks really good. only downside I've heard about them is the firm ride compared to some competitors. but I guess you have to expect that considering its a more sport oriented sedan.
I love Volvos and Mazdas, and while I think the Volvo is a lot nicer and more upscale, you do seem to get a LOT of bang for your buck with the fully loaded Mazda. And dare I say it, the Mazda feels a bit more simple (in a good way) while being just as stately, despite how FUCKING AWESOME the Volvo's features are. Haha
And, while we're on the subject...sure, this fully loaded CX-9 is fairly pricey, but GODDAMN does it look to be worth it. You can buy similar vehicles in the same class or otherwise, and the Mazda is still a nicer car! They sure knocked it out of the park with this new CX-9, it's a very impressive vehicle.
I wouldn't go as far to say "beautiful", but Mazda's definitely stepping up to the plate with luxury-class vehicle alternatives...I'd recommend it to a previous BMW owner!
I like this guy's channel cuz u never hear him complaint about the car and performance. He always always brings out the positive features in every car he reviews👍
kyle your by far my favorite yotuber i have been subbed for like 6 years and i cant belive i found your chanel 6 years ago wow keep up the great work and i will allways stay here
not really, the dash still looks like hard plastic, red nappa leather with real wood from japan and real aluminum, and it also has accented lighting, The base model q7 is 65k, the signature cx9 is 52k... I actually dont understand how anyone would buy an audi
As of the time I wrote this comment, Kyle is a little over 6k away from one million subscribers. That's incredible. Keep up the amazing work, my friend. Here's to another million - we'll all certainly be here when it happens.
We just bought one. I love the driving very smooth the interior is awesome and the front grill looks mean. It's a big car and the 310 torque carries this car very well.
Thank you...as usual...you keep it classy, point out the facts, let's us see the beauty and decide on a conclusion for outselves and I love that angle any product reviews.
wow...the exterior is not really appealing for me but the interior is just beautiful. Those color combination and the dashboard design is just so beautiful
Usually, I hate big vehicle such as the CX-9 that has a small displacement engine, but for some reason, I like this car. I can tell it's under power but it seems fun to drive. Engine sounds great! I bet the CX-9 would be a fantastic car with a manual transmission, but that's too much to ask. Nice review, Kyle.
Man I like the way you review your cars. You definitely are very well educated about the cars you test and review. I would like to kindly request you to test and review the 2017 Dodge Durango GT if you can. Would greatly appreciate it.
Do you plan to review the new Chrysler Pacifica for the minivan segment? It's getting top reviews from pretty much all other reviewers. Curious to see your take.
This is a really nice SUV. I Love the exterior and interior color combination. And it's features. How is it $45,000? Looks more like $60,000-$70,000. Nice video. I can't wait for the best one. And it has a subwoofer. I might want to see this car at the Chicago auto show.
Great review as allways. One note though, when you are talking about sizes, please keep in mind, that you are being watched not only by US viewers. In EU dimensions are in centimeters and every time somebody says something about foot, inch or whatever i open Google to check how much is that in cm....
Great Review Kyle....Still kind of surprised that they went with a turbo four in this vehicle. I am curious as to how reliable this engine will be in this vehicle.
I wanted to trade-up from my CX-5 , and looked at one of these in Grand Touring trim. No pano roof. No vented seats. No heated rear seats. No heated steering wheel. No 360 camera. Cheep plastic covered sun visors. Wide center console cuts into legroom. Cargo space much smaller than the rest of the class. Apparently I'm not the only one with these gripes, because CX-9 sales have been a huge disappointment for Mazda. I ended up going with a '17 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T and could not be happier.
Saabkyle04, I know you loved the Volvo XC90 so I'd love your opinion regarding that vs the Mazda. I'm actually cross shopping the two. Although you tested a high end Inscription, I'd be looking at an optioned Momentum around $55K. If it was your money, would you spend the extra $10-$15K for the Volvo over the CX-9 all things considered? Thanks
Kyle, you've come a long way professionally from your interview on the Camaro SS back in 2010 with your handheld camera. That said, If I may, I'd like to make some observations that I think may help you currently. 1. While some people do like numbers, specs, and fact, I think you just offer up too much. Too many details. Rather than read exactly how the turbo is different, put it more in layman's terms that someone that's not into cars will get. How would you describe the dual nature of it to your Grandma? 2. I really like this SUV, but all the info read off like a list makes it boring. No one wants to buy a boring SUV. Pretend it's your favorite thing in the world and you're trying to convince your buddy to buy one because you'll make a million-dollar commission. 3. I think your vocal delivery comes off a little too sing-songy; your tone rises and falls unnaturally to the point that it's distracting from your report. A more casual tone would help draw the viewer in IMO. Hope that helps. I saw your recently got a Viper too, congrats. What made you pick that over say, a Corvette or a gently-used S65?
Love the interior. Just beautiful. Criticisms wd be the ott grill and some parts of the design aren't as up to date as competitors. The dash binnacle looks a bit old school, the moulding under the rear bumper looks decidedly cheap.
Jonathan A Running a 330km trip and keeping a constant speed at 180km/h and still having 1/4 of fuel to use after arriving destination seems pretty green to me
Why there is a 1 second delay in each shifting after you use the manual shifting mode? It doesn't shift right away! Go to 11:12 of the video to see what i m talking about.
The interior is way better than every car in the class.
BCJDM this and the the Murano are killing it
RAFA RAFA Murano with cvt and can only tow 1500 pounds? No thank you
yeah but that doesn't matter much. Most people buying Murano's are not towing trailers. The pathfinder with the same engine and cvt can tow 6000 pounds.
BCJDM still not impressed

Do you ever feel that it lacks power? Also don't you think they should have a 2.5t option
WOW, this thing is beautiful. If I ever needed an SUV, it would be a hard decision between this and the new XC90 - two amazing choices!
Haha

XC90 full loaded of cost to $70K! This CX-9 is only $45K! That a $25K increase. You could buy another car for the difference!
I wouldn't go as far to say "beautiful", but Mazda's definitely stepping up to the plate with luxury-class vehicle alternatives...I'd recommend it to a previous BMW owner!
CrazyIvan1337 XC90 is better it's safer and has autonomous driving
I like this guy's channel cuz u never hear him complaint about the car and performance. He always always brings out the positive features in every car he reviews👍
kyle your by far my favorite yotuber i have been subbed for like 6 years and i cant belive i found your chanel 6 years ago wow keep up the great work and i will allways stay here
Thank you so much my friend, I appreciate that!
Urwiner Same! My favorite thing was when he would attempt to start the cars with blown engines.
JA0798 gaming yea bro I loved that I remember watching the video on the jeep on my blackberry bold I miss those vids
the interior is just gorgeous. Seriously better than a Q7s interior..
Can agree with the exterior, but not with the interior
not really, the dash still looks like hard plastic, red nappa leather with real wood from japan and real aluminum, and it also has accented lighting, The base model q7 is 65k, the signature cx9 is 52k...
I actually dont understand how anyone would buy an audi
actually the base Q7 with the 2.0T starts at $49k and the 3.0T supercharged V6 (333hp) starts a $55k.
Uncrowned good dealers
I've been waiting for this. Ahh man I love this car. Thanks Kyle keep making amazing 😉 videos. Can't wait for you to hit 1 million subs.
Been waiting for this CX9 video for quite a while. It was worth the wait. Thanks for getting to it!
As of the time I wrote this comment, Kyle is a little over 6k away from one million subscribers. That's incredible. Keep up the amazing work, my friend. Here's to another million - we'll all certainly be here when it happens.
Wow, nearly 1 million subs! Congratulations man :)
We just bought one. I love the driving very smooth the interior is awesome and the front grill looks mean. It's a big car and the 310 torque carries this car very well.

The good Ole days when Kyle used to film simiplier reviews, b4 he went way overboard. Miss ya dude
Thank you...as usual...you keep it classy, point out the facts, let's us see the beauty and decide on a conclusion for outselves and I love that angle any product reviews.
I have a 2009 CX-9 and it is very interesting to see the differences. Good work kyle!
Why did you stop adding the car price in the description?
Kyle, I seen this car on tv and really liked it. Thanks for the review. Very good like always.
wow...the exterior is not really appealing for me but the interior is just beautiful. Those color combination and the dashboard design is just so beautiful
YES! You brought back the key fob camera shot! :) :)
great car review btw...thanks for your reviewing...you were my first car-review-channel
Haha I was starting to wonder when you'll do a review on the new CX-9 😆 great production, thanks for this!
YES! I've been waiting for this! My family has been planning to buy this.
Awesome video. Very comprehensive and nailed the majority of the positives. Love the tech in this SUV
Stunning looking car inside and out. Informative video as always from this channel.
saabkyle04, you're almost at 1,000,000 subscribers!
Very futuristic looking front end
Great Job I love your videos out of all people who do the reviews yours is the best!!!!!
The CX-9 becoming the most accomplished SUV in its segment. Love that interior!
Such a good looking suv. Absolutely beutiful.
Le Leedler yea but I think a Lexus RX f sport 2016 with brown for the interior and pearl white for the exterior look a bit better in my opinion lol
Vince Luu I'd disagree because of the Lexus's grille.
True
If I was ready to get a new car this, the Chevy Traverse LTZ and the Honda Pilot Elite would be on my list, love a big crossover ! Nice video Kyle!
Man I like the way you review your cars. You definitely are very well educated about the cars you test and review. I would like to kindly request you to test and review the 2017 Dodge Durango GT if you can. Would greatly appreciate it.
Almost a million subs keep it up!
I hope the return of the cx 7 like this
These and the Volvo XC90s are the nicest mid-size SUVs, in my opinion. Great review, as always!
Very nice vehicle. My only wish is that it had cooled seats on the loaded model.
Love this CUV!!! It's good to have at least some sportiness in a CUV, certainly better than the sea of appliance-like "soccermobiles" on the road!
Agree! This should be a big contender on anyone's list.
Do you plan to review the new Chrysler Pacifica for the minivan segment? It's getting top reviews from pretty much all other reviewers. Curious to see your take.
Jamel Moore isn't the cx-9 a suv and not a cuv?
That interior tho!😍
Mazda really stepped up their game
I really like CX-3 and CX-9 design :)
Great review, more details than may of others....
This car reminds me of the tesla model X. A clean exterior design that makes the car look futuristic
awesome review Kyle. thanks

I'm just sittin here waitin on the 2017 Super Duty video.

Nice video buddy Keep it up.
I wished this was a full in depth review for this
Mazda is the Japanese BMW...but with better reliability and price. I predict with the latest designs Mazdas North American market share will grow.
stunning look..mazda showed its class ..
I always hated Mazda, but I'll admit this is really a beautiful car! Great review!
Kyle. When you reach 1,000,000 subscribers, what insane car review will you do?... please let it be a *Pagani Zonda Revolucion*!

hey kyle nice review
That interior is amazing! I've seen vehicles costing $20,000 more that don't look that good.
I'm waiting for the rx9 !!
Awesome review!
This is a really nice SUV. I Love the exterior and interior color combination. And it's features. How is it $45,000? Looks more like $60,000-$70,000. Nice video. I can't wait for the best one. And it has a subwoofer. I might want to see this car at the Chicago auto show.
Kyle can you do a 1st generation Lexus LX?
Great review as allways. One note though, when you are talking about sizes, please keep in mind, that you are being watched not only by US viewers. In EU dimensions are in centimeters and every time somebody says something about foot, inch or whatever i open Google to check how much is that in cm....
Did I just hear a blow off valve
Yep! =)
The Hoopty Mini whats that
Matt McPherson underpowered for the class? HP is on par with the competition and torque is +50 more than the competition... so how is it underpowered
Great Review Kyle....Still kind of surprised that they went with a turbo four in this vehicle. I am curious as to how reliable this engine will be in this vehicle.
Very Nice!! Thanks Kyle!
damn thats a nice interior. also when are u doing the pacifica review
Good Job! You got accesories Saabkyle04.
Imagine this car v6 twin turbo 350 HP 😭😓
they coudl've made 350hp from the 4 cylinder but whats the point this car has plenty of power
When you test 2017 Lincoln Continental, 2017 Chrysler Pacifica or 2017 Ford Fusion?
When will Engineering Explained feat. in you show?
Yathu prem I hope never, Kyle just reads the brochure and is unbearably boring.
OzcarMtl dont think so !! No brochure in the world can provide that much details !!
Mazda is killing it inside and out who would buy a X bmw xD but that 160mph speedo is a little cheesy
Most vehicles have that these days? I'm sure you could wind it out to at least 130 MPH before the governor kicked in.... so who cares?
I wanted to trade-up from my CX-5 , and looked at one of these in Grand

Not very long. :D

I miss his non-sponsored videos, and when he would do older cars, perhaps the ones that were affordable to everybody...😣😣
Is this a face-lift or an american edition?! Because in middle east 2017 not like this!!
Kyle, you've come a long way professionally from your interview on the Camaro SS back in 2010 with your handheld camera. That said, If I may, I'd like to make some observations that I think may help you currently.

A distant dream for us Brazilians.
Rodrigo Santos you are not the only ones

if they have kept the same 3.7L v6, it will be much better imo
Yup or at least as a option motor as it is on the MKX.
Jonathan A Running a 330km trip and keeping a constant speed at 180km/h and still having 1/4 of fuel to use after arriving destination seems pretty green to me
this is faster, lighter and more fuel efficient than the old V6...
You need to check your numbers. The 3.7 has way more HP then this 4cyl.
pontiachotshot peak HP is nothing in the real world. Torque curve means much more.
@Saabkyle04
Please review 2017 Kia Optima. Thanx
The All-New CX-9 "Driving Matters."
are you doing a giveaway when you hit a million subs?
Why there is a 1 second delay in each shifting after you use the manual shifting mode? It doesn't shift right away! Go to 11:12 of the video to see what i m talking about.
Mazda has come a long way since the Zoom Zoom days.
Is it faster than the v6 ?
