    Just got the set! Can you please tell me what tires and wheels you have on this set up. This is exactly how I’m trying to get mine looking.
    Thanks!

    How much lift do U have up front

    Are you running 285/70R17 or 295/70R17? Link to Amazon says 285 while write up says 295. Since this is a 0mm offset, the tires are close enough to what I'm looking at running on a 20 to get an idea if they'll clear or not. Also, it says 2nd setting at 1.3" and your truck definitely looks higher, more like 3rd setting at 1.9" or all the way to 2.5".... unless it's a 2WD which actually gets more lift with the Bilstein 6112's. I've got my 6112/5160 set on order with fronts at 1.9" and this is the closest thing I can find. Can you let me know about the tires and height setting?

      So a 295/70R17 is around 1/4" taller and 3/4" wider than a 275/60R20. It definitely looks better with more tire than wheel.... I couldn't find an 18 I liked. I'm thinking this has got to be a 2WD if you're on the 2nd setting which is 2.1" so if you're not rubbing, I should have about the same clearance with a 1.9"?

      Correct, 295, it is 4WD (2WD is Colorado would not be fun) and there was definitely rubbing, had to use a heat gun and make room in the wheel well.

      @@offgridexploring Interesting! It really looks like it has more lift in the front. Did you use any shims? Also, do you think using 1/2" shims/spacers on the front bumper could eliminate the rub vs heat gun/trimming? Thanks for the reply!

    How much lift does it get from that upgrade?

    • @offgridexploring
      @offgridexploring  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on what you set the bilstein to, but, you can get from 0-2 inches

      How can you tell what type of shocks you have. I bought my tundra and the guy before me installed had them installed.

      @@danacordola4100 Bilstein 6112 provides up to 2.5 inches of lift to the front. The 5160 rear shocks provide up to 1.5 inches of lift.
