Thank you for posting on here about this. I found it all to difficult to take in all the facts at the vets when my dog , a cross yorkie/chihuaha, was diagnosed with this today. We are going along the route of anti histamines to start with and regular monitoring. Very helpful and informative, thank you. I am in the u.k.

thank you for valuable information on this subject, I have received conflicting information regarding this issue from a variety of vets. I now have the valid info I need to find a vet who can help my pom.
Thank you very much for posting this information!! My Chihuahua just had one this severe attacks and this has help me understand what is going on with him, I will take him to the vet tomorrow to see how we can help him overcome this issue :(
BOTH my Yorkies have been doing this for years. Now I am quite concerned, as my more pudgy Yorkie does it more frequently. When I ask my vet he says it's common and nothing to worry about. I'm now going to talk to him again.
Hi Pam I have a pom that's 11 who has this. Shes been on prednisone which makes her seem nervous. I would love to know how they are treating your pom. Im so upset my little girl sounds horrible and now snores
