Pressure Washing a Cars Engine

I always run the engine up to normal running temperature and then switch it off and leave for about 5 minutes to avoid a very hot exhaust manifold being damaged with the cold water from the pressure washer. I then wash it all as per your video. Close the bonnet and the residual heat left in the engine helps to dry out the whole engine compartment!
