Looks great.. I've got the same one. I don't wear except for working out etc, but this watch will survive anything. Thought I'd mention that it's very unlikely that you'd EVER have to recharge this watch purposely if you wear it every so often. Once the battery has been fully charged, the charge should last 9 months in pure darkness without needing to be recharged. The solar technology and the ATomic technology is incredible on this piece and its nothing short of amazing.

I do want a g shock fully digital with multiband 6 atomic sync, tough solar, moon phases, world time but it has to be positive display not negative like this one, any suggestions?

I was having to make a tough decision between this exact watch and the mudman 9300 (new design) with the positive display. Style factor got the better of me and I ended up going for this for Xmas. Good news is that it's cheaper and has multi band 6 which I really like and almost wouldn't get a G without it. But I'm a relatively new collector and I reckon that new mudman will be an addition because it was so nice. The rescue is more comfortable however for me with the softer strap and little win
If you want this model but in a positive display I think this model comes in both. Hope you find one! look out for fakes, they're getting so hard to spot now.
@Gagledo It doesn't take a lot of sunlight to give it a full charge, & it most likely won't run out unless you don't expose it to sunlight for weeks at a time.
Hello! I use mine at work (Military) and I've had it for two years now. I don't ever make any effort to stop it from being damaged and it's still going. I like that The battery won't die at an inopportune moment and I also like that, because it syncs with the atomic clock, that I always know I can trust time on my watch. Being on time is very important at work. I don't use the tide feature but I do note the moon graph. It's nice to know how bright the moon is going to be that night when I'm working at night or camping. I didn't think I would make use of that feature. I hope this helps answer your question from a year ago.

my advies, the G-7900 are one of the best, i got the white and blue. it gots the awsome colors, i tell you that.

99% i believe it does but the only professional diving casio is the frogman (and some older models)

Nice review! My cousin has the exact same one but his is stuck on 24 hour time. Is there a setting where you can change it to 12 time?
