I've got this watch and it's awesome! I bought a omega seamaster the other day and felt so guilty for paying that much for it and felt bad like my gshock was mad at me. So I retuned it. I still rock this gshock and love it
I have this time piece - its greatest asset? Well it has 4 buttons and I cannot remember what any of them do; but, leave it on a west facing window shelf when you're not wearing it and it will always show the right time to the second throughout the year; daylight saving time included. People who notice watches always seem to notice mine and ask "where can I get one?" And I always answer "They've stopped making them so you can't" I love this watch - I really do.
Hamish McPenguin They make one very similar to this with a glossy black finish that I think looks so cool. How did your display wear over time, are the numbers equally visible to the day you bought it? This could be a stupid question, but I don't really have much idea about these negative displays.
@TheProgrammer93 I would recommend not wearing a gshock with a suit. Im quite sure that some do but it would be comparable to wearing Nike cross trainers with your suit. A suit is better matched with a simple analog dress watch or a steel sport watch depending on your taste and personal style.
I went out of my way to get one of these, and it's a tough act to follow. Do we know of any other watches with a similar band? I *love* the hybrid band on this thing, along with the "stealth" display. This watch is like a Dodge Dart with a Hemi and a six-pack ;)

Great review! They really are great watches, but it's a shame they are out of production now. They could have made a profit just selling the bands.

Alex Serrano The watch has worn exceptionally well - It looks pristine. Would recommend this model gw-m5610-1er if you can find one.

Are the buttons difficult to access and push, say while running? They appear to be quite small and recessed.
I was thinking of getting this watch, but not with the reverse display.
were did you order it from I dont want to get it on ebay or amazon im afraid of fakes.
I tought the time sync was just int GW-M5610BC-1ER and not in the one of the video
