Thank you Annette. Love how you show great photos of the flowers you are talking about with screen labelling l can easily read. I have never grown Phlox, but l am very taken with Phlox of Sheep. Such beautiful delicate shades 👍🤗🧑🌾
I've never heard of Phlox before; was watching your other video about Dianthus, and this Phlox video showed up. Pretty flowers! And I agree: the Blushing Bride is so pretty, and the bonus is the variations between the flowers. I live in Texas and will have check if they will grow here.
thanks Annette. these are gorgeous...very inspirational...i have bought 3= grandiflora 'brilliant', creme brulee and alba...will let you how i get on...just ordered them this afternoon. 💕
Very informative, I am a total newby😄 think I will cover my seed trays with a black bin liner because in my total wisdom, I ordered myself a white seed tray with clear lids but I will probably use a bin liner to cover phlox seeds until germination! If I had not have watched you video, I would have been none the wiser, so you gained a new subscriber!
@@cottoverdi I hear you, I announce it to the house when they finally do, lol! they don't seem to share my joy, they don't know what they are missing! Happy gardening friend!
I loved the different seeds that you started. Very pretty. Have you ever considered soil blocking. I wonder if it would reduce the germination time by a week or so.
Thanks Joanne. I have considered it but whilst I have the plastic trays, I want to make use of them so that they don't go to landfill. Just trying to be eco conscious.
I just put my seeds in the dirt and stuck it in a sunny window. I covered it with a clear McDonald’s lid and they all germinated in 4 days. I didn’t know they needed darkness but they didn’t seem to mind the light

Thanks Penelope. Phlox of Sheep gives you all the shades - it's beautiful in a cottage garden. 🌸💚

This is my first year of phlox'ing 😍 and your video was very helpful, thank you 💐🤗

Hi there, I'm so happy I could help. Good luck with your seeds and welcome to my channel!
I check twice a day too. It’s so exciting 🌟
🤣 Glad it's not only me! I sometimes feel like a crazy lady - expecting them to have suddenly germinated in the last 1/2 hour!!!

I've never grown annual phlox either. I think The Blushing Bride is my favourite too. I do grow a few annuals mostly in pots. Bonny zone 5b Canada
Hi Bonny, annual phlox is such a pretty addition to a cottage garden - I love it. 🌸
Hey Annette, would you be able to show the pinching process? Like when, and where?
Hi Natasha, yes, absolutely, I will show you each time I pinch.
Hello, Sorry I don't know your name. I just wanted to say thank you for your information. I found it really helpful. Kind regards ☺
You are so welcome! Thank you. My name is Annette 😊😁

Wow! How fantastic! You were so lucky - so many people have trouble germinating Phlox!
I always struggle with germination of phlox, other people make it look so easy 😅
oh, do keep trying - they are worth the effort - some of mine are still flowering now in November!

Thank you so much💚
