It works. I can hear everyone as well. Apparently when I tried to use the mic, everyone was pissed off at me cause of the noise it was giving off. So I had to mute the mic from the app.

You can start a party straight from the app no need to do this whole setup just for parties.

There is a huge latency between my phone and bluetooth earset (status audio between pro). There is no latency when connecting the phone through wired earset. Also to add the screens are in sync

Yes, this does work and I just completed it! Things to keep in mind that I learned throughout the process from my experience. 1) the faster and stronger your internet connection is, the better the overall performance of the phone and Xbox union. I got a notification telling me that 5GHZ or better is good. I even tried my phone's data hotspot and that worked too!
2) I had to do a firmware update for my controller.
Overall the remote play and Bluetooth connection to my phone did work. Thank you for this video!

I'm not sure if the mic works or not. I didn't try it out at that time. Anyone interested in trying this out then do it to see for yourself if the mic works and then comment here or create your own comment.
Great video, but can't get my app and xbox to sync. Both on Wi-Fi, both logged in to the same account. Even tried hard reset on my Xbox and phone-no luck.
It works, But I wouldn’t recommend for strategic shooters. Was trying to use for R6s, and the mic works but it lets off a buzzing or fan type noise, and the audio is delayed about a .5 to a full second

Definitely works, but there is for sure a latency issue. Despite how fast your internet is. You’re going to be like a full second behind whatever actually is happening with what you’re playing or streaming. Besides that though it works pretty flawlessly.

You can also stream in twitch then watch the stream on your phone and make sure there's no delay

I was able to get it connected but I couldn't play any games with it connected to my phone. The games weren't picking up my controller inputs untill I disconnected remote play. Did I do something wrong?

I think it's connected thru the router and not the internet , it's fine as long as u select 5GHz band but the thing is that some county ban it and no matter what you get one secoy delay

For anyone who has successfully achieved connecting ear buds…does having the audio streamed to a middle man device cause any latency in audio in game? Like footsteps being a second closer than they actually sound?…and does voice chat work given you have ear buds that support communication?
Or you could just connect your headphones to your tv through Bluetooth, that’s way easier then trying to stream it though your phone on the Xbox app

This worked for my razer barracuda x wireless headset! The only downfall is that I can’t use game chat while streaming on my laptop. But amazing!
