As a 14 year old who has been saving money for years, I just ordered one today, I will tell you how great of a jump it will be from Xbox one to Xbox series x
If you have ever connection issues with the Xbox headset, you can always use the really long cable that comes with the elite controller. It works really well!
The Skull & Co thumb grips are really great and way more durable than the Kontrolfreek. I also have the Steelseries Artics 9x and the official Steelseries headset stand, great built quality and looks great on your desk ;)

Honestly, i bought the elite series two and it worked amazing at first. The countless customization and features were amazing and suitable for anyone and everyone and it basically came with everything you need. (An unboxing video or in depth video of the elite series two will tell you exactly what the controller is. But the one major issue I’ve seen with every elite series 2 is the right button and left button. One of them or both always stop working at one point or another and then from here it leads to other issues. My controller worked for a good 6 months before the right button stopped working and now my joysticks are also broken not letting me turn or move. For $200 it is amazing but this one flaw is in every controller and is ver frustrating. If you are one of the lucky few who don’t have this problem then that’s amazing but the odds of it are very very low. I suggest buying another controller or just sticking with the regular one and it works amazingly for me. The elite series 2 is just for pros and with its issues i wouldnt suggest to buy it.
i've had an elite series 2 for almost 2 years, the only bad thing that happened is one of the extra sticks doesn't stay on anymore, but that's it. i guess im one of the lucky ones 🤞

I bought a used elite 2 and the left dpad didn’t work. Traded it for a new one and I’ve had no issues in the 2.5 years I’ve had it
I had the exact same issue, the quality is really bad of the Elite Series 2

With the bumpers it is just dust buildup. Pull the trigger and blow in the gap into the bumper. Mine was broken, i did this, and now it works.

I am loving the expansion card. One problem with the elite series 2 controller (I have seen others complain about this too) after 2 years with mine, the Right number only register less than half the time, quite annoying
My right bumper double clicks no matter what I do. The left does so too but only sometimes. I don't use it anymore. Drives me nuts. 180 dollar paperweight.

Had this happen to me, I just removed the front panel by prying it open then adding some isopropyl alcohol in the bumper. After getting the liquid in there this fixed the issue for me! Maybe try it and see if it works. Note: use a high % for the isopropyl alcohol so it drys faster and won’t ruin any of the electronics inside the controller
There’s videos on how to open the controller, kinda sketchy but totally worth the fix for the expensive controller

I have an Xbox Series S and I love it. Small, compact, lightweight and enough storage for the games I play.
My Elite Series 2 is 3 years old this year and still going strong, best controller ever made for it's capabilities 💚
Lucky, my controller broke after 3 months (sticky RT, not function RB and LB, left stick not being able to be pressed down, battery dying within minutes)
Same here. As long as you take care of your controller everything is fine. I have 2 friends with an Elite controller that lasted 3 - 6 months because they don’t have much care for it. Probably saved £1200 buying new ones every 6 months
Love this comment. Same with my series S. Now looking to upgrade controller and also storage. Just deciding which controller and if I want to go with seagate or an alternative Ext. SD. I believe there are some cheaper than can do similar. And I need to use it for multiple devices, so a 1-2tb Ext. SD may be better option for me.

Mine broke within 6 months. Xbox’s quality control is garbage.
I recently bought a series 2 controller. I find the ability to change profiles on the fly very useful as i have a couple of profiles set up with the triggers swapped (i have little power in my right hand due to an accident)

💚 I've been enjoying our Series S since getting it last month. So far, the first purchases we've gotten for it have been the PowerA batteries with charging cables and a little dual fan with double USB ports on the front. 💚
Only disappointment is that it doesn't store the main games I want to play as that pissant hard drive is too bloody small. Gonna' have to budget for a separate hard drive to store our other purchases on which can't be played until I remove a bunch of games that I'm currently enjoying.
I picked up a wireless keyboard at a local Aldi this summer to use with Stadia, but then found out Stadia didn't offer keyboard support so I stuck it in a closet and forgot about it. Remembered it after hooking up the Xbox and have been using it constantly for sending messages through the system. Turned out to be a great purchase for just under $10. =)

As a casual gamer who just bought the Xbox series x Halo Infinite edition, this video makes me wanna buy all those accessories. Well produced videos keep it up fam. Keep making great. Box and gaming content
Quick word of warning for the elite series 2 controller. Yes, when it worked it was by far the best controller I had ever used. That said. It lasted just long enough to be out of warranty, by a week or so, before one of the stock bumpers stopped working entirely.
Quite the inconvenience but once you fix that by taking it apart and cleaning and doing the plastic tab fold technique the controller should last until it dies (years) mines been working perfect for a year no bumper issues since the fix
The Elite Series 2 controller is also supported in the Xbox Design Lab too, so you can customize it for a small bit higher/lower price.
my recommended headset is the hyperX cloud xbox (it was made for the one X btw) but it is a beast, really good mic quality, super comfortable and its audio is amazing overall. ive had it for over a year and there have been 0 issues.

My favorite accessory has to be the elite controller and the Xbox version of the Astro Mixamp Pro TR.
The xbox Mixamp will also work on PS4 & PS5 when it’s set to PC mode. The one down side is you can’t voice chat. Also the Arctis 7x headset (Xbox V.) works on PS4 & PS5 with no voice chat.

I want everyone who is thinking of getting the elite series 2 to know that the LB/RB wear out pretty quickly due to the cheap hardware they used for the piece… just something to keep in mind before you spend $200 on a controller
Went through 2 because of dead RBs
One headset I heavily recommend is the Rig 700. I've been using it for about two or more years and it still works like new. It has extremely comfortable earpads and it's very breathable . The mic quality is amazing aswell as the headphone quality. It's priced around $100. Definitely would recommend picking up if your in the market

Got the Xbox wireless headset absolute awesone sound although you do need to tinker with the equaliser in the xbox settings but I found the settings online for good balance with good bass. Plus you can connect to your phone and take calls while playing xbox simultaneously
I'd never go back to the standard controller. Had 2x Elite 1's, 1x Elite 2 and now on a Scuff Instinct Pro. While the difference between the stock controllers and the Elite/Elite 2 is quite noticeable the Instinct Pro is another step up albeit smaller.
Razer wolverine ultimate is pretty nice controller. Love it much more than when I had the first elite controller. Elite controllers tend the get drift so fast and problems after a few or so months. Had my razer one for a year now and still going good, only 160$ too
I run the Razer Wolver Tournament Edition (with a set of Kontrol Freeks) and it's also really nice. Only downside is that it's wired. If it were wireless it would be basically perfect.

I've loved my Elite Series 2 Controller. Far Far better than the Series 1 (I went through 5 of those).
The other thing I'd like to get is the expansion card but it's just too expensive. I would've thought the exclusivity of the Seagate card be expired by now and new competitors come on the scene to release what clearly can be far cheaper to put out a 2Tb card at either equal to or less than the Seagate 1Tb card. Oh well ... maybe this year Western Digital or Crucial may bring one to market.

I own Elite Series 1 and 2, Series 1 has terrible dead zones, series 2 improved the overall controller but face button sometimes doesn't respond and terrible sticks doesn't go back to center when it rather slingshot to the opposite side making it aim difficult if you use X/Y, the first Elite series 2 I had was even worse. I can't recommend, I kept it cuz I got it from Microsoft with a 3 year warranty that of course I'm gonna use it.
I've gone through 3 Elite controllers, one Series 1, and 2 Series 2's, all of which had the same problem -- the bumpers stop working.
One other thing to note about the warranty is that it'll cover getting the controller replaced, but the warranty won't be extended. So if you go 2.5 years, then replace the controller, you only get 6 months of warranty on the "new" controller. I understand this might not seem like a big deal, but the controller you'll get back is almost guaranteed to be a refurb. That means it had a problem, was "fixed", then shipped out to you. It's very unlikely to last as long as your original did. So if you send yours out to get replaced, expect to have to buy a new one as soon as the warranty ends.
@@omatsei I got a similar thing with a nexus phone that had issues and google wanted to send me a refurbished one, I ended up complaining with the attorney general, and they fully refund my money after that, lol
I really like having the Xbox remote. Just makes the power button on my console irrelevant as it has an IR Blaster near the front USB port behind the sync button. Pressing the Xbox button on the remote feels more satisfying 😅

The expansion card is why I don’t think the series s is worth it . Half the storage and if you were to ever upgrade the storage, it would be pretty close to the price of the x. Almost no point in having a series s if you ever plan on expanding storage.
I understand what you're saying too. The S is useful if you want a second console (or you have super fast broadband and can download games in 20 mins).
And if you don't have any games on disc, then it's the no-Brainer
Not to mention 1/3 the GPU Grunt..I can't wait for the XSXX in November 2024 as that should be a real 4K/120 Beast

Dont buy it dude, its a lovely controller yes but it has a terrible QC issues and breaks on regular basis, i had to return 3 and after that i was done.

I got the official rechargeable battery kits for my white series S and black Series X controllers. so much better than using AA batteries and the rechargeable battery lasts about 30+ hours between charges. Great purchase imho.

I have been enjoying the Xbox wireless headset and Nitro Yellow controller for about 6mos (even as I watch this vid) and they're amazing!! Great battery and distance even. They're just so comfy! The controller is a little slippery though so I'd like to try painting it in a rubbery coating but in the same color, any ideas? The headset fits around my avg ears and is soo soft. Totally worth the $100!

For me, the Scuf or the OG xbox controller are the top tier choices. I’m on my 3rd elite series 2, first two got horrible stick drift after a few months, both replaced under warranty and now the third has had a battery pack failure….just outside of warranty. Bah!
I really like it when it's brand new. Definitely a huge upgrade. But over time it degrades too much

i actually bought the charging stand since i was getting tired of constantly recharging the batteries that i bough like 1-2 years ago and its the best accessory that i ever bought as you just put it on the stand when you are done playing for the day and next time you use the controller its fully charged

Planning on buying a series X. Looking to also replace my existing work from home bargain provide monitor. Should I go for a gaming monitor or TV to get the most value for money?
Have used both scuf instinct pro and the elite 2. For me the scuf Wins in a big margain because of The trigger fingers difference the controller has. The paddels on the scuf sitts perfectly for your fingers and still. The paddles on elite are floppy and quite long and to easy to take off. The only thing better the elite can provide that the scuf cant, is the adjustment on the joystick.
Directional pad on the elite series 2 is leaps and bounds better than the scuff as well especially if you play fighting games. Also the scuff feels like super light cheap plastic where as the elite series 2 feels very well made and durable

great list but im looking for stand to charge 2 elite controllers at the same time.
The Elite Series 2 has a lot of customer feed back of buttons not functioning after about 6 months and then major stick drift within a year. Of course their are outliers but why I researched it after mine started falling apart I saw its a very common issue for a lot of the buyers.
That's been the main thing that has stopped me from getting an Elite. For such an expensive controller they should NOT be having these issues.
I think it’s also important, although maybe not quite an “accessory”…. A good monitor and goo hdmi cable can make games feel a lot faster and more vibrant/atmospheric 💚
