To be completely honest, the movie only has two of the Carlson brothers. The third, jack, was playing for the Edmonton Oilers at the time so they had a teammate, Dave hansen, come along to play the third Hanson brother.
Yes, well another important detail is that the character of "Dave 'Killer' Carlson" in the movie, was based on Dave Hanson, who they cast as the 3rd "Hanson" brother. Nancy Dowd (the screenwriter) simply swapped the names, making the "Carlson's" into "The Hanson's" and making Dave Hanson, into "Dave Carlson."

Yes, the jets and the days of Don hall and Dick Roberge. Always great games against the New Haven Blades ...at the New Haven Arena.

i remember we had some kids puttin' on the foil back in 71 in bantams. there were rarely any fights, but i guess it's good to be prepared.
Saw the Carlson play vs the Long Island Cougars in the NAHL.
Grew up in Johnstown ❤
Putting on the foil coach !!!!
Dave's out. Who's gonna take his place?
Jack Carlson was in the WHA playoffs with Edmonton at the time of the movie…not the NHL.
Good take, thanks.

They should do are remake of it.
I think it's a classic, and remakes of classics shouldn't be allowed.
