I'd like to express my comment on Liqui-Moly. more than a decade ago we purchased a brand new Opel with Z14XEP engine. We did first oil change at 4500km and of course used Liqui-Moly oil with corresponding specs and approvals for the engine, this oil was recommended as "one of the best". We decided to stick with one brand, same spec Liqui-Moly oil for the rest of car's life. Everyone wants best for their engine, right? Well, so we regularly maintained the car in question and were changing oil at 7500-12000 km intervals (although manufacturer recommends changing oil every 30'000 km - I believe it's a nonsense). Fast forward 7 years later, the engine developed a bad piston knock at 124'000 km and oil consumption became excessive. We replaced the engine with another one from wrecked car with shy of 56'000 km on the clock. Also, we switched oil to Fuchs Titan GT1. 6 years and 117'000 km have already passed since the replacement and it's still going strong. No more Liqui-Moly for me, even if I get it for free. Besides, worth mentioning that Liqui-Moly (which is shown in this video) now costs around 100 Euros per 5 L jug in the shop whereas I buy Fuchs for 38 Euros per 5 L jug.
The liqui moly on the video is their best one look for that one or the spec version . Even liquid moly clarifies that they oil only last for about 10k kilometers in miles is less than 6 1/2 miles I was putting on my vehicle about 7k miles on the oil but I switched to Amsoil. Amsoil in the best also. Don't get me wrong liquid moly is also good but not more than 7k miles. Keep it at 7k to 6 1/2 k miles. I have to say liquid moly is an overpriced oil.
Thank you for your effort that’s a great video I used that oil in my Mercedes and I noticed the temp gauge was higher than before so I switched back to mobil1 have you ever analyzed amsoil euro formula? 0w40 or 5w40 I wonder what the numbers are thanks again have a great day
get yourself liqui moly while prices low amzn.to/48FG9OE
Not an oil I'd even consider even if I had a euro car
Is good for cleaning engines

If you want a really quality oils, Millers oils with esters would be the best choice
They have test data?
@repairvehicle they have indeed
No MSDS even?
What do you mean?
@@repairvehicleMSDS Material Safety Data Sheet or SDS Safety Data Sheet
I know what is msds or sds. I just don’t understand your comment.
@@repairvehicle is there no material safety data sheet, which gives specs on the oil
@ I believe every product that comes into the United States has to have one
My engine runs cooler with Castrol Longlife but my mechanic prefers Motul
much like everything for certain people,it's the marketing 😂
It's a marketing bubble.
Over hyped & over priced...regardless of the tax! Insane price.
Amsoil for me,money well spent.
Good video.👍
Liqui moly is just embarassingly expensive and it's just another shitty marketed brand (same for Shell for example)
Shell oil is not really expensive compared to other brands, there oils are decent though
There is no engine oil in the world can beat Amsoil XL, even the signature series.
Signature series does run better than XL. Why do you say XL is better ?
@@name741 well based in oil analysis I’ve done with Xl i always get lower wear metals.
@@name741 but I don’t know anything yet about new XL 20k miles intervals, they trying to make it signature series and I don’t like that.
@@arxigos365 i'm curious about the new XL too, from spec sheet new xl has higher TBN than previous xl . I'll try it out in my honda
@ older XL was great add pack, I never tried OE should be great oil as well.
