My CVT transmission on my Mitsubishi Outlander 2008 doesn’t shift gears automatically while on drive (D)mode it remains on 1st gear. When I use manual mode (+/-) gears shifts smoothly. Do you have an idea how to solve this issue ?
I wish you would do that to my 2007 Outlander. It's time. I hate it when I slow down to trun, the transmission kicks down a gear or two then it takes a second for it to "catch" causing it to jump.

Do you have any suggestion to fix this problem, gear slipping? When the car increases speed from ~30-50 km/h, it will be noisier from engine if pressing hardly on the accelerator.
I think I have the same kind of issue. When I step on the gas pedal, I can hear the louder pitch. As long as I move my foot off, the higher pitch went away...
