First hands on look on the Thrustmaster Viper throttle at Flight Sim Expo 2023

Flight Sim Expo 2023 just so happens to be in my city this year, so we stopped by and checked it out.

Winwing still looks better, is more versatile, and is cheaper in price. If it's $500. TM needs to up their game big time.

For the price, they cheaped out on the nobs on the throttle handle, it looks like a toy, that's so sad, they had an opportunity and blew it.

Exactly….even the commercial video looks like they target AceCombat Kidz instead of die hard DCS players

the red landing gear lights do not work the leds are off it is a thusmaster problem

The Viper Throttle looks amazing. I think Thrustmaster has nailed it. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Whats the maintenance schedule on blasting the pots with electrical contact cleaner? Havent had a TM product yet that hasnt had to be torn down constantly

HAHA, you must be an idiot to think that. Piece of art? More like piece of plastic shit. The winwing replicates the F16 WAYYYY better and is actually made fully out of metal. Not this bullshit plastic construction. Not to mention this whole throttle costs for than the f16ex throttle AND stick. Which are both miles ahead of both TM WH and the TM F16.

Winning is much nicer. It seems from watching him move the throttle that it is to light on weight. The price is way more and looks way cheaper than what winning produces. I wouldn’t waste my money on it.

Its badly build. That gear switch is beyond cringe. Good luck using that with where the throttle is.
Get the Winwing Orion 2 with the viper throttle, way better and even cheaper.
