I love watching Sgcarmart reviews as it is locally relevant. May I suggest that you all include a golf bag, instead of just the auntie trolley, please? I suspect many car buyers are interested in this than the auntie trolley which usually can go into any boot anyway.

Made in Singapore and YET it cost $213k with cat A COE, BYD seal is Cat B costs 238k as well as Tesla model 3 at $245k with Cat B as well. Minus away the cost of COE this cost more than BYD and Tesla with less performance as well. Komoco/Hyundai trying to recoup its huge investment in its Singapore factory or what ?

Made in $ingapore yet so expensive. Why the screen cannot be one full screen? The thick border in the middle breaks the flow of the screen. For now, the Seal looks the most promising

@@tand9854 OMV for seal is 20k lower than Tesla, but about the same price. Big margins for the dealer.

How does the ioniq 5 prestige compare to. BYD atto 3 (2024) model?

Is this the one with the sliding center console? If so, it helps getting in and out of the car in case some idiot decides to be a selfish bastard and parks too close to one side! Then you can get out of the other side if you need to!

On the road, I only saw Tesla and BYD cars.
Something wrong with the sales of IONIC 5 & 6.

hyundai evs are too expensive but way better than most chinese vehicles, so people either stick to non-EVs or go for tesla or if they are poor, then go for BYD

Honestly one of my favourite cars on the road but i feel the range is too little and would rather spend a bit more to get the dual motor variant or tesla model 3

For the price of this car, the range and acceleration from 0-100 is pretty lacking as compared to the rest in the market. Definitely a dealbreaker for me.

Great review! Just voted as the Car of the Year by the Straits Times motoring panel.
Some said it is made in SG for the local mkt. No, it is made for worldwide sale with variant.

I like the styling, in this colour reminds me of the car in Back to the Future.

    Type A usb is mad.
Also made in Singapore means it's only meant for the Singaporean market as I don't believe that they will be competitive on overseas market against Tesla or BYD or Geely.
58kwh is okay for Singapore, but not ideal for Malaysian or Australian market. Toyota I believe is already 72kwh.

BYD more worth it and has better and safer battery. Tesla, that was yesterday, waste time.
The crazy COE price sink all these cars.

Matter of time hyundai will shut down this factory if it is only making cars for singapore.. even if it is selling overseas, cost to operate here is not cheap thanks to the pap…
property, utilities and employee payroll all sky high here
