@@AFRICANTIGRESS that train railway is going to be destroyed. The Prime Minister Didn’t like it so did many Ethiopians people including me and my family.
Hello Ethiopians, greetings from Tanzania. Been in Addis Ababa once, but only at the airport connecting flights. I'm hearing so many good things from Ethiopia, I'll visit one day and see for myself. One love Africa.
This light rail is exactly what we have in the UK. Ethiopians are ahead, miles ahead on this front and in many other infrastructure development. I love Ethiopia
Ethiopia and in particular Addis Ababa have made great stride in terms of development and progress, compared to other African capitals. I give a lot credit to the government.
It was paid by Chinese money. Then it is not the government but the strategic plan of the Chinese. And how much in dept is the Ethiopian state with another long distant rail line from the Chinese? Will it ever get paid back? Or assets taken if the state defaults? I remember that the state rejected European money to revive the old railway. And did a marvelous job to do what they did. Seems to be a change of mind has taken place. I am glad for the Ethiopian people to have such an asset. Future will show if you have made a contract with the devil and sold your soul.
The fact that the lines have different color trains to avoid confusion is great. Other cities could follow that example with their systems and routes because so much confusion abounds. Love your video presentation and energy!😀
I'm very impressed with the number of transportation options available in Addis. It's definitely worth using the rail even for just to explore the city
I subscribed to your friend's channel. She has amazing content!! I am starting to learn a lot about Ethiopian culture. Thanks African Tigress for introducing her to us.
African major cities need more railways system (tram/metro/suburban trains) like this one. It'd be a huge help for economy and enviroment! I can't wait to see more beautiful trains like that :)
Addis Ababa has an amazing skyline. Yes! Were I traveling there, I would take the the light rail. Another amazing video, Tigress. And thank you for taking us along!

Thank you for the video I learned a lot about the light rails in Ethiopia!! 👍🏿 I hope that one day a big rail road system is built in the whole African continent. Africa has the potential to show the world how to build a car independent and envrironment friendly transport system. It is especially important since Africa will be one of the first places where the climate change will cause serious trouble.
I stayed in Addia Ababa for one day. Very cool experience and people are really nice and kind. I did not know how to buy tram tickets and the station assistant offered me one ticket. I also enjoyed the coffee ☕️! All the best and may your country be more and more prosperous!
