@@Kushagra.j clearly you don't watch basketball. Lebron James is commonly referred to as a combination of Jordan and Magic with Karl Malone's body. Luka plays like Lebron (hes idol growing up) without the athletism but with a good step back. Luka isn't as big, strong, fast, athletic or has defensive capabilities like prime Bron (who could guard all 5 positions) but he's a great passer (like Lebron and Magic, hence the "Luka Magic", of course both don't hold a candle to Magic), and great scorer (Like Lebron), and great rebounder (like Lebron). It's actually an insult on Lebron to compare the two since Luka will probably end up being a fringe top 20 player, if he manages to win something. Joker is the true abonomality of this new generation as he is a Point Center. Nothing Luka has done is unique.

@@Kushagra.j like I said, you don't watch basketball. Give me one thing you have seen Luka do that you have never seen before. Lebron is unique because we have never seen that combination of speed, size, agility athletism, endurance, and basketball IQ like him. Joker is unique because he is the first true point center we have ever seen in the league who is actually a triple double threat. Steph is the greatest shooter who ever lived. Even Kyrie has the best handling and ambidextrous finishing we have ever seen. Jordan was the only Jordan until Kobe came along and literally played in a similar fashion. Magic is the best passer the league has seen, and he was a 6'9 point guard. Kareem with the hook. Wilt was a freak of nature whose records still stand today. Give me something that is unique to Luka like what I have described above. Houston Harden was doing what Luka is doing, Westbrook averaged a triple double.

Minnesota is a mirror of what the lakers were in 2020 to a certain degree. The lakers had two bigs Anthony Davis, and Dwight Howard. The wolves have KAT and Gobert. And others who could take turns on Jokic even though he still got off. They also had a lot of other capable lengthy defenders. I am always for having a traditional big 4 and Five ( power forward and center) for some of these reasons. Especially if one of them has the skill set to stretch the floor like KAT. In retrospect the lakers should have never broken that team up.

Jameskennerly there are similarities but also quite some differences.
Yes, both teams (2020 Lakers and 2024 Wolves are long teams but in different ways).
      Here is the Lakers
      PG Lebron (6.9)
      SG Danny Green (6.7)
      SF Kuzma (6.9)
      Pf AD (6.10)
      Dwight (6.10).
      PG Conley (6.5)
      SG Edwards (6.5)
      SF Jaden McDaniels (6.10)
      PF KAt (7.0)
      C Gobert (7.2).
the Lakers' length was a huge advantage especially offensively. I don't however remember the 2020 Lakers being a suffocating defense the same way this 2024 Wolves are.
Booker, Kd and Beal could barely get their own shot and were clamped. Jamal Murray could barely get past half court.
I remember in the bubble Murray averaged an efficient 25 ppg against the Lakers. Harden had a great series against them and Jimmy Butler was a superb against them.
I also don't think that an AD and Dwight frontcourt would cause the same problems as a Gobert Towns frontcourt to the Nuggets.
Jokic in 2020 was held to 23 points on 53% fg which was the equivalent of his regular season averages at the time. And his power forward and forward (Grant and Millsap) were 6.7.
Jokic is 6.11, Gordon is 6.10. they are as big or bigger than AD (6.10) and Dwight (6.10) but undersized compared to Towns (7.0') and Gobert (7.2)

I agree with Lebron’s comments on Kleber. As a Jazz fan, I distinctly remember Kleber being a key piece in eliminating Gobert’s strengths. The Jazz never had the heart (or perhaps depth) to bench Gobert in playoff series when it was obvious he was being played off the floor. I have been interested to see if Minnesota will sit him if that becomes the case for them. Hard to bench the highest paid player remaining in the playoffs though.

    • @jalheeljalhe5799
      @jalheeljalhe5799 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

You should not bring this argument here, as a team, Jazz were nowhere defensively they were bum as hell and the media and so called pundits kept pointing fingers at Gobert. Jazz were simply a disgrace defensively and Gobert was their scapegoat. Today Wolves team just show that he is a great defender and Kleber would have done nothing.
