Eric, thank you for your review. I really like the close-up view. I guess if you magnify any of these knives you can find some details that you would not catch with the regular eye. TOPS is always "TOP" quality and great with their fit and finishes. I like that they are made here in the USA. Love the look of the Silent Hero 4 and the blade geometry. I would have liked to see TOPS use thicker blade stock than 1/8th inch. I would also like to see a vertical carry option for the sheath, maybe in leather. Like I said before I really like the look of the knife. Thank you and God bless.

I'm impressed... generally I'm impressed with TOPS but this one ready catches my eye and more importantly feels great in the hands!
I love tops knives ,I have the bob great knive. I think a large version of the 4 would be cool myself the original reminds me of a kitchen knife to some degree but both seem very capable I have no doubt.

I’m glad I picked one up a few months ago. I think it’s a perfect carry knife for working around my property and being out in the woods. I’m sure it would make a nice hunting knife, but I have some other knives that are specifically for that.

I do not like tops knives that much. But I have friends that love it.
I like the original SH but the handle was to small of a diameter for me
The handle to blade depth ratio on the original is awkward for my needs. Not ideal geometry
But is it’s good combat knife?
Is 1/8" thick. I wouldn't use this for combat personally.
@Douglas Pantera then maybe it is good for combat then? I don't know... you asked my opinion. I would take 5/32 or thicker personally... and a stouter tip... and less leaf shape on the blade. But again that's my opinion
