100% agreed that Tops makes a lot of cartoonish type knives. They have some real nice simple designs too, with this silent hero 4 certainly a great one.

Just came across your review, and that was great! I love my Silent hero 4, and what I do is exactly pair it with one of my many Izulas.. It's definitely the best Tops knife! Hope they learned something after it's popularity and style!

Good review, I own this knife. I would love to have a decent belt leather sheath, for vertical carry, for it (not a custom sheath).

I wish tops made fewer (not enough to break their theme just a few) over thick knives and something that had a thin spine and did not use a policy to jack prices.

Regarding TOPS knives. I have only owned one. The B.O.B (Brothers Of Bushcraft). Took it on several hunting trips and a slew of family outdoor outings and really REALLY did not like it. Almost all the features for survival use ended up just feeling like a gimmick and not working properly. Mainly the fero striker at the butt of the knife was just awkward to use. Combine that with it felt like it was a constant struggle to keep the thing sharp I ended up giving it to a friend who really wanted it for his birthday. Was so unimpressed that I never bought another TOPS again. Maybe others have better luck with them but mine sucked.

Great video and I completely agree I like Tops and I'm a Tops fan but 80% of their knives I would not even want because they're the shapes are just hideous and to me useless. I agree 100% and that what you said a sharpened pry bar, absolutely right! Especially when it comes to the smaller builds, I do have one of the 1/4 inch that I like that's the top pig hunter but it's way too heavy for a tactical knife, for pig hunting absolutely good, but anyway I have the Tops Street Scalpel 2, because it's small and it's only like an maybe an eighth of an inch thick so not overly built, and I've had the Tops dagger twice simply because they look so cool. I'm not quite sure they're also a quarter of an inch but anyway they were not users, it was more of a just a love for daggers, they just look so good symmetrical.. but this is a knife that you could use, I mean it doesn't have too thick of a blade honestly hate to bring it up but that's another reason I don't like Medford, that's what you said he's got quarter inch thick blades that are not even very long to me that's just useless but that's me. Anyway way to go Tops getting out of that quarter inch thick blades making something that doesn't look crazy and it's really useful. Great review nice comparisons brother!
