It’s full retire age that they no longer limit the income you make. The full retirement age depends on the month and year you were born. My full retirement agreement was 66 yrs & 4 months. And the age increases the younger you are. So check when your full retirement age is. When you turn 65 -you become Medicare eligible.
I feel your pain with Social Security. I worked 23 years in private sector, paid into SS. I then went to work for Government 25 years, no SS paid in. SSA penalized me for being a Government worker, I get 50% of what I earned. Government Windfall Act.😡

Hello - I love the deep dive kit and would have loved to do it - BUT is is USA only...sigh!! I feel your pain - have issues myself trying to deal with Govt at moment - apparently they seem to think everyone has oodles of money.

As to your Social Security benefit woes, thank Congress for changing the rules. Are you not getting a generous retiement pay for the 25 yrs in the govt? Remember Social Security is an insurance scheme not a retirement plan like a 401K. I will use your paper plate idea for blocks.
Make sure it is not a scam, as SS scams are so rampant now! You are so busy-I have such busy days, but not traveling all over the place like you and no children, so what am I doing?
