About the presser foot, it's referred to as hovering. I have that option on my old Viking Designer II. Luv it.

For seam pressing solution, Mary (at Joyful and Merry quilting) suggested half Terial Magic, half water in a refillable paint pen (refill it from squeeze bottle from Dollar Tree). It’s been a game changer along with your recommended pressing bar and clapper. Seams are flat as can be and stay flat.

I will be finishing my Kimberbell October mini quilt…. It is adorable and so fun to make! Then I need to work on my granddaughter’s pineapple quilt…… on the home stretch, but still will take awhile as it is set on point 🙃

Thursdays are usually about machine embroidery and tend to go over an hour. Join us! The chat is very active with supportive crafters. I learn from Becky AND other crafters here every day.
