  • Looking for a luxurious pickup truck? Ford has the answer in the new 2016 F-150 Limited, which is loaded with extras and has lots of tasteful trimmings. Combine these upgrades with what is arguably the best full-size, light-duty pickup you can buy, and this truck looks like a value despite a high price.
    Clearly, the F-150 Limited is designed to go head-to-head against the Sierra Denali, but you need not spend a small fortune on Ford’s popular full-sizer. Grab a Regular cab version in XL trim equipped with 2-wheel drive (2WD) and the standard 3.5-liter V6 engine, and you’ll part with $27,735, including the $1,195 destination charge.
    Upgrades include SuperCab and SuperCrew cab styles, a longer cargo bed, 4-wheel drive (4WD), and a choice between two turbocharged V6 engines or a V8 engine. In addition to basic XL trim, Ford also offers the F-150 in XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trim levels, and for 2017 the Baja-ready Raptor will return to the lineup. That wood trim you speak of is actually ink on plastic. I own a 2016 F-150 and loove it. But I can upgrade the entire interior for a fraction of the Limited cost. Great truck.

    Just so you know you can get the massaging seats in the Platinum and the King Ranch also. Its not exclusive to the Limited.

    Great truck, interior best in class and as per all other brands, shop for it at the end of a model run, becomes a bargain at that point. Love the twin turbo, the fat torque curve blows away engines that are larger displacement...plus toss in the fact that you pay a penalty for registering a vehicle over 4 liters in Quebec Canada as an example, that adds to the reason to go with Ford, good execution on a great truck by Ford!

    the limited isn't the only trim with massage seats

    just cant believe the F-150 is now the most expensive truck in the segment now, it sores higher than any other truck at over 70K now, thats a good 7K more than the Denali or Ram limited. :O man i get that they are like Luxury cars now but they are going over board, both ram limited and Denali offer better interior at a far lesser price, 7+k just for massaging seats? is this a joke?

      but it tows like 300 more lbs... so its totally worth 10K extra, so the fanboys will say....

      Don't forget the panoramic moon roof, the 22" rims, the deployable running boards, the power lift gate, etc. This truck has many items that just aren't available elsewhere.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      22" rims, the deployable running boards are literally on the Denali... way to make up random shit.

    • @matthewcooke3955
      @matthewcooke3955 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I stand corrected. Funny how you stated the only advantage was the massaging seats tho.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      duel moon roof vs panoramic sun roof, ok? no matter, massaging seats and power tail gate for over 7K+ na, especially when the interior materials are lower rent than that found in the RAM and DENALI. my point still stands ;)

    Some of you u need to really compare the Denali vs this limited model. I had he Denali for 3 months and ended up trading it in for this. There is a reason why this costs more. The Denali I got was listed for $63k and this limited was listed for $66k so it's not that much more. But the GM incentives are more so u will get a better deal. But when your spending this type of money then another $5-7k is not much. My $63k Denali was the ultimate package with the 6.2L so nothing cheap about it. For that much money u don't get that much from GM besides an outdated otherwise good looking truck. All u get is a troublesome 8-speed transmission, remote start and a backup camera. Power running boards that are loud. And oh yeah a remote app for the phone and retarded ass Bluetooth system. No smart entry. No push button start. No trailer back up assist. No adaptive cruise control. No blind spot monitoring. No vents in the rear. No 360 camera. No auto high beams. No tail gate release button. No park assist. So in consideration of the all the added features as compared to the Denali I think I'm getting a better deal. I'm not biased towards any brand since I am weighing in my options for the money. I must say the Denali rides a little bit better than the f150. But the terrible transmission stressed me out to the point that I had to give it up.

    I looked at the denali vs the ford, the denali has no push to start, no adaptive cruise, no massaging seats, no panaramic, and just simply was way less attractive than the f150 limited. I purchased the f150!

    I thought that this was a review of a regular F150, not a Limited F150. Misleading title.

    My 2015 F150 Platinum is currently not in use. I just spent $5500 on repairs at the dealership. The truck has 50K miles on it and is only seven years. It cost me 52000 dollars when I bought it. These trucks get horrible gas mileage. It's cheaper to leave it parked until you can unload it on another unsuspecting sucker.

    Literally the only reason i want a f-150 is the bench seating

    66k is way to much for a vehicle. I would rather get a used f150 in a xlt trim and save a lot

    decent looking seat and interior trim, but the exterior is piss elegant....much like the "luxury" trims offered by GM and Ram Trucks. GOTTA TONE DOWN THE CHROME BS, GUYS!!!!

    Shit, 60k gets me a 2500 gmc Denali diesel, and it doesn't have half the crap this does which in my opinion is too much gimmicky content like power running boards and power drop tailgate.

      F-150 KING OF TRUCKS he obviously doesn't know that because he would actually consider buying a GMC. My '03 F-150 is about to be replaced by a '17 F-150.

    6.2 f150 is the best f150 just wish it came in lower trims it only in the platinum just like GM they should make it available across all the trims nobody want the 5.3 or EcoBoost we wabt the 6.2l from both companies respectively ram is Fiat so absolutely not first of all I wouldn't buy a Dodge before Fiat They were garbage before and then they got bought by a garbage company and became even more garbage I like the old ones with manual transmissions and Cummins engines so basically it has a not Dodge powertrain
