    Cream of tartar is an old folk remedy to help with utis!! It helped like nothing else! Antibiotics weakened the infection - or at least relieved the inflammation or maybe sent it hiding beneath a biofilm- but it always came back. The cream of tartar in combination with other things helped a lot. No more utis.

    • @SANDWlCH369

      In combination with what other things?

    • @asdf4678z
      @asdf4678z 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @@SANDWlCH369 1. Diet. I went carnivore for a while. I ate some non-startchy veggies here and there like cabbage or broccoli etc but mostly just meat. This was temporary. I am now mostly keto and keel an eye in my carb intake. No fast food. No sofas. Just meat and water and some herbal teas.
      Speaking of teas....hibiscus tea is a popular remedy for utis. Combine it with d mannose for an extra umph.
      2. D-mannose from pineapple is best. I took the pill with a sip. About 30 minutes later I chased it with a full glass of water and/or the hibiscus tea. I did this so the d mannose wasn't too diluted when it hit my bladder but then water coming behind to flush out the e coli, assuming that's the cause of the infection.
      3. I started taking hulvic and fulvic minerals. Google Gift of the Mother.
      4. I guess this is more preventative. When I relieve my bladder I now wait for a second or even third void. I make sure I really empty as completely as possible.
      5 taking a good probiotic to help build good gut flora. I took a spore forming probiotic for a while.
      6. Apple cider vinegar. A mild slash in a glass of water.
      7. I suffer from pelvic floor tension so I do lots of pelvic stretches to help relax the area and help me fully empty.
      8. Some women claim that like goldenseal and oil of oregano help. Make sure they are top quality and intended for consumption. Not all plant oil products are intended for ingestion.
      9 I would rub frabkensince oil over my bladder area. I don't know that t helped helped but it certainly didn't hurt. It's known for having healing properties.
      I hope this is helpful!!!!!

    It gave diarrhea; I wonder if anybody else experienced the same!? 🤔

      It can happen. Half the amount you used per serving and slowly build up to your required amount.

      Since I generally run constipated, that would be a welcome relief. But will let you know.

      I used about a teaspoon last night and had a good bowel movement this morning. Also took 500 mg magnesium. No diarrhea though, thankfully. Since this remedy is good for other things, I'll continue with it. Am 77 y/o and have a lot of issues these days and need all the help I can get! :)
