Thanks for watching! I hope this natural toothpaste helps you get rid of tartar for good. I’ll see you in the next video.
Pinch of turmeric
1/4 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 raw honey or manuka honey
1/2 cup water
Mix everything up and brush with soft bristle toothbrush, twice a day.
Edit: clove, peppermint or cinnamon oil (3 drops of either one) or just turmeric. Sorry, I forgot to include ;)

My teeth were all rotting from the inside out and falling apart. At 30 a dentist said I would need full dentures by the time I was 50. I stopped using/consuming anything with fluoride and they stopped rotting. I replaced tooth paste with baking soda and flavored it with spearmint oil. This was B4 YT and Dr Berg so I had no idea if it would help, but figured it wouldn't hurt. My teeth stopped rotting and I still have most of my teeth at 61.
Everyone can clap now!.. . Thank you!
Wow!!

Also stop the sodas & grains. Excessive usage of both of those has very severe tooth decay, furthermore modern Corn Syrup sodas, post 2010 and early 2000s aka Now. Most of the old sodas we are used to have changed into something much worse than the sugar version of them. Corn Syrup is really bad stuff in it's current version for humans.

My grandma lived to be 82 and always used baking soda to brush her teeth. She had all her teeth except for one that had to be pulled when it cracked on a pork chop bone. Other than that she never even went to the dentist either. She had beautiful teeth.

I’ve been dipping, my toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, before I brush my teeth with toothpaste for years. 😘. Thanks grandma.
Me too only 2 times per week. I'm going to step it up.
So brush with the stuff and then toothpaste after? Ty
Yessss, same here, thanks, grandmom. My family does the same my grandmother taught us.
No, the residue on the teeth from whatever was last used continues to work for a bit. I don't use toothpaste at all, just baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. I brush with the mixture, spit out and rinse with hydrogen peroxide again (not water). I used toothpaste on its own maybe once a week, just cuz it's late night and I'm tired, or i'm lazy. @@ccaselli7
Baking soda tastes bad 👎 but sometimes I do. Hydroxzine peroxide is whiting, but too much the teeth get see-through. My experience. Be careful. The dentist is the most important person for your teeth. Ask the dentist for care.
I put a cinnamon stick with a couple of glove into the water. I let it sleep 24H in a jar and just gargle before bed. After a few days, some tartar will remove itself🤫
I had gingivitis and lots of tarter. Eventually the dentist said I had abscesses under my teeth and wanted to take 4 of my teeth out. I went as far as to schedule it. Then a couple of days before I called and told them I wanted to try something first. So I had a thought that it might be candida since I had leaky gut in the past. I began hitting the candida hard with oil of oregano and garlic and anything I could find that killed it. I removed all sugar from my diet too. Within days my teeth and gums felt better. My dentist said later that he had never seen a mouth turn around so fast. He told me “ whatever you’re doing keep doing it and you’ll have your teeth the rest of your life”. Now I only go for cleanings once a year and it takes 5 minutes. I don’t make tarter anymore. Thanks dr. Berg for your videos.
Wow. Were your teeth decayed? Did you eat the garlic and oregano or did you just apply it?
@@sweetbeepI think putting 4-5 drops of good quality oil of oregano into a glass of water and swishing in your mouth then swallowing, would work well. Esp right before bed after brushing. Helps stave off illness as well. However, I think you have to limit drinking it down to a few days to maybe 14 days, to prevent killing off good bacteria in your gut.
Try flossing
@wideawake2 Never swallow anything you swish around in your mouth that collects bacteria from your teeth. Spit it out.

This guy is pure gold! What a gift and what a massive difference from most doctors here in the US that just throw pharmaceuticals at any and everything and they end up not helping but actually causing more issues.
Without his video that I watched by accident the first time, I would not have overcome my Long Covid (which had kept me bed-ridden for 2.5 years--and the physicians, neurosurgeon I consulted were useless). (The medical establishment put out a tremendous amount of misinformation about how to overcome Covid-19--and that hurt thousands of people in the world, including me.) That was the start, and the subsequent videos of his I watched have helped me a lot become increasingly functional, stronger.
Dr. Berg is a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), favors holistic approach over the conventional Medical Doctor (MD).
Definitely, do your due diligence (research) and due care.
I swear we are living in a darn simulation! Earlier today I was thinking (to myself, not out loud): I wonder if there’s a way to clean your own teeth and remove tartar like the dentist does without going to the dentist - I’ll look it up online later. Then I forgot about it. And now here I am scrolling and see my favourite doctor heard my request! Thanks - I’ll watch the video now! 😊
OK, I probably don’t have any then, as I already brush with bicarbonate of soda. 😅
Try Eucellus it does wonders!
This formula he spoke about in this video will help remove the biofilm aka dental plaque therefore help reduce the tartar over time. You can’t remove tartar with a toothbrush as it is the hard barnacles on the teeth and must be removed with instruments at a dental office (I’m a dental hygienist) 😊

Thanks again Dr. Berg. As always, your posts are awesome. I have been doing " root planing" for several years ( dentist gave me a special round toothpic holder. U break off the 1/3rd end of a round pic, then scrape along the gumline. Nasty process, but works). After that, I take about a tsp of baking soda, add a spash of hydrogen peroxide and make it into a slurry ala toothpaste consistency. I then brush my teeth thoroughly , being bent over the sink. Do not swallow this mix. Rinse the mouth well 3x, and you'll immediatey feel much better. I do this once per week. Stay strong and well Dr Berg. We need lots more lije you!
May I ask how deep beneath gumline is scrapped by broken toothpick? Thanks
It only needs 2b about 1/64 of an inch. The curve space between the gum & tooth is not very big - so one does not want to damage the gum tissue & have bleeding & pain.
I think limiting my carbohydrates intake to 50 grams every two days has tremendously improved my teeth health. Thank you Dr Berg for the knowledge that changed my diet
This is very interesting. I was asking my dentist if I limit my carbs, if it might help with tartar buildup, and he said probably not, so I'm glad to hear of someone that has actual experience in doing so. Thank you!
Former T2D here. Started keto lifestyle three years ago and put diabetes in to total remission. A wonderful side effect is that my teeth health is vastly improved. Just a side note advisory about the turmeric. If you have any temporary resin caps, they can stain very yellow. Saw this once on a patient who had eaten it, came in and we had to remake her temps that were anterior.
+1 turmeric stains everything like crazy!
The yellowing from turmeric is temporary and will leave the teeth whiter when it fades away.
That's the first thing that came to my mind, tumeric will definitely stain your teeth with a hard yellow. Lol

Important: After meals and snacks, use Xylitol mints or gums. Xylitol kills the bad bacteria in your mouth and so it improves your bio-film. Saliva is key to help re-mineralize teeth if you are experiencing tooth decay. I use it every day and I can swear, my mouth feels fresh for hours after meals and snacks.
Even better. By pure xylitol and take a 1/4 teaspoon.

My PhD was in biofilms back in the 70s. Glad to hear about the ubiquitous nature of biofilms - helpful as well as unhelpful.
What were your findings?
@@Lucia-io3dn
My findings were that even as far back as mid 70s microbial ecology was possible in natural biofilms. Difficult but possible. The other finding was that inside power stations with brass condensers, catastrophic metal failure was due to a process called "stress corrosion cracking" that occurred inside the metal crystals was mediated by short chain fatty acids produced by the biofilms when the condenser was left full of water but not pumping. Thr fatty acids leached hydrogen out the metal at crystalline boundaries. I also found I was good at doing multi field research, getting up to expert level very quickly in different fields, and in using statistics for applied biology.

I shall always be grateful to the dentist that taught me about the efficacy and importance of daily low pressure sub gingival irrigation with multiple alternate effective anti microbial agents. I weekly alternate between hydrogen peroxide ( and I want to emphasize not industrial strength but the kind one buys at the grocery store. In fact, the larger bottle I buy says "oral debriding agent") in water, salt in water, baking soda in water. I use a curved tip syringe to deliver it all along the gum line. My gums are too tight to use an endodontic needle or cannula. But if your gingiva is detached you might want to use them. But if you do be very very gentle. You don't want to damage any tissue. Also irrigation flushes out larger food particles missed by flossing and brushing. It would probably work well with a water pik but I like the mobility of the syringe. Easy to transport and use on road trips.
Also to brush my teeth I use a teaspoon of baking soda mixed with a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide.
