This potassium tartrate helped me tremendously. I was low on potassium for 2 years (due to chronic stress and bad habit of drinking too much water) and when I started drinking apple cider vinegar + himalayan pink salt + cream of tartar + lime in the morning I was so much calmer throughout the day, my intestines became relaxed (no more morning cramps) and whole myriad of symptoms disappeared. Such a simple remedy which made a world of difference to improving my health
Thanks for the tip! How much Cream of Tartar did you put in your water in the morning? Was it 1 cup water?
@@ThankfulSpirit I mix about a tsp to 1/2 tsp-1tsp of cream of tartar to sea salt to a big thing of water and shake and drink on it all day. First thing in the morning use half lemon 1 tsp ACV, good pinch of baking soda and warm water with blackstrap molasses. So many benefits of all these natural food for minerals for kidneys and the whole body. Add a tea bag of dandelion tea through the day!
@@ThankfulSpirit I used 1/3 tea spoon cream of tartar and 1/2 teaspoon of himslayan salt in 1 cup. You may also add 1000mg ascorbic acid (vitamin C is great for healing adrenal glands)
Thank you for sharing your experience....curious what dosages did the trick ?
@@dudoklasovity2093
Apparently ascorbic acid is not recommended for vitamin c as its synthetic ...grown from GMO beets or something
When I first started looking for healthier options to cleaning, I looked up how to clean my oven, which at the time was not self cleaning.
I found somewhere that it was suggested to make a paste of baking powder and water. Rub it on, let it set and then wipe it off.
I was super skeptical, but it actually worked!
It worked just as well as the toxic oven cleaner.
I have used that ever since.
It works on cleaning the drip trays on the stove, and also for cleaning the glass on the wood heater.
It never ceases to amaze me that God put all these wonderful things at our fingertips and yet we have ignored them and been brain washed into thinking we need some expensive, toxic man made chemical to get the job done.
God bless and thanks for the information.
Very timely for me, I need to clean my oven soon 😊
Thank you, I need to clean my oven too. I have used baking soda with some vinegar and it still requires alot of Elbow grease. I'm going to use your recipe today.
oven cleaning 101 at my house (though I do have a self cleaning oven, I hate to heat the kitchen that hot with no result ie fresh bread etc) IF something spills in the oven I put a very damp paper towel on the spill, in the still warm oven, shut the door and forget about it for an hour or so. Seems to wipe out beautifully every time with very little rest cleaning; not sure it works for old burnt in spills, but if you keep on top it seems easy.
I use vinegar and baking soda because I have parrots in my house and the toxic fumes are unhealthy for them and me
Baking POWDER? Not baking SODA?
I would like to inform you that I used the cream of tartar of 1/2 to 1/4 teaspoon in 8 ounces of orange juice for 2 weeks and it does work my hubby and I did this and we are 4 years into not smoking this made it much easier than cold turkey
my granny added to her gravy and a little in her dressing mix. just made things smooth and velvety.
are you sure that wasn’t corn starch?
I have been making my own baking powder for maybe 15 years or longer. Works perfectly and no aluminum.
Would you mind sharing your recipe?
@@anitamarshall7528 I mix 1/3 cup soda, 1/3 cup cream of tartar and 1/3 cup corn starch. The last few years I have cut back on the corn starch which is only for anti caking and makes it flow. I just put it in an old baking powder can and shake it well then stir it with a spoon. If your recipe calls for 1 teaspoon baking powder then that is what you use. Good luck.
@@icecreamladydriver1606 thank you so much!
why dose baking powder have aluminum in it and some people says baking soda has aluminum in it also
@@anitamarshall7528 You are welcome. Have you tried it yet?
A fourth tsp of cream of tartar, a little sugar, enough water to get it down works great to help get rid of poison ivy. I used it often, it works.
Omg, I followed a lady on TH-cam making a banana pudding from scratch and she said use cream of tartar in the meringue. I never understood why i just did it and man o man it held it together nicely.
It is 1/3 of a teaspoon of mix with orange juice for to quit smoking and it also helps clean out the lungs, also I think it helps with cleaning out the lungs with Covid, it helped my lungs but I had a very mild case.
Yes it dose work for quitting smoking i did a half of teaspoon and and orange juice before bed and one cup when i got up and that's all it took
Thank you Heidi and thanks to all the people in the comments section who shared their tips very informative.
I don't get UTIs often, 3 in my 59 yrs on earth, and I've definitely used cream of tartar for it. Took care of it pretty quickly too👍
How much did you use, please explain ?
I drink 2 litres of pure cranberry juice (no sugar or other juices in it) over 2 or 3 fays. Works like a charm.
You're fabulous
@@OceanFrontVilla3next time try pure 💯 no sugar added blueberry juice it actually works better then cranberry juice and tastes much better it contains significantly more proanthocyanidins than cranberry juice does. I’ve gone from urinating blood to completely cleared up in 24 hours drinking a bottle of it through out the day and night. Sometimes I’ll sip on some the following day just to make sure it’s completely gone.
It can reduce a fever in NO time! I use to give this to my daughter when her fever spiked over 101 and it would drop down in minutes!
In a half a glass of water I would mix 1/2 teaspoon (roughly) of Creme of Tartar with a couple tablespoons of powdered sugar (COT is very tart) and have her drink it down.
Best remedy EVER!
Amazing. Thank you.
*Good info shared. Thanks for posting that. In my experience calcium lactate will also reduce a fever fast too.*
wow, interesting. do you know why? please share.
A couple of Tablespoons of powdered sugar? Do you have to do the sugar?
I was wondering this too
I'm a smoker and take the oj and cot. Although it hasn't helped me quit (i believe that is a mind over matter process) i have felt tremendously better because of taking it. It's my understanding that smoking robs and prevents potassium and absorption of potassium. The orange juice provides a path for absorption much in the same manner that zinc aides in the processing of other vitamins.
Hope this helps
Great information, thank you for sharing that!
@@RainCountryHomestead yes ma'am, thank you for all you do.
@sly dankass thanks but I don't drink soda. Smoking is my only unhealthy habit and I'd like to stop it, not replace it with another.
@sly dankass my husband is having as hard of a time quitting soda as I did smoking. I wouldn't recommend it 😬

A single dose of 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar has done more for me than 5 years of ingesting probiotics! Built-up tension in my upper abdomen is GONE after many years! I have a gentle energy now that I haven’t had for decades! Wow! I read many comments and will be careful to not over-dose!
Pray that you are well this morning! Thank you for the video Heidi!
Thank you for making time to share : God loves you♥️
I've always wondered about cream of tartar, but never looked it up. Thank you for all this info Heidi!
I use a quarter teaspoon in my electrolyte drink, 4 or 5 mornings a week. Handy thing to have in your Pantry. 👍
TFS, & take care too everybody. ❤🙂🐶
Thanks for sharing the amount: I was looking for it.
It’s very tart.
Good video on an important topic. Our cells use potassium to create energy. Many people are low on potassium so supplementing can often help. Taking it internally can be "iffy" since people may react to too much. Add it to a gallon of warm water and soak your foot for 20 minutes. This way your body can absorb and use what it needs. You can also add 1 teaspoon of sea salt to the foot soak. Epsom salts work great in the mix too. It is a safe and easy way to increase your minerals.
How do you get big quantities of it?
@@KvltKommando Define "big". :). It is sold for brewing from what I have read. Personally, I bought 16 oz on Amazon for about $12.00. Well worth it for me. Much cheaper than buying individual pills.
@@thisorthat7626 how much do you normally add to your foot soak
@@KvltKommando start with one teaspoon and soak for 15 minutes. I hope this helps you!
Thank you Heidi, you truly put so much effort into researching information on things, you are a treasure❤️
Great video! We take cream of tarter in our “adrenal cocktail”. Be cautious and start with extremely small amounts, like a pinch! It can cause stomach upset if taken on an empty stomach. Also, I love Anthony’s products!
How do make adrenal cocktail?
We use 2-3 Oz of filtered water and add 1/2 tsp Real Salt, 1/4 tsp cream of tarter, 1/2 tsp Whole Food Vit C, 1 ml Fulvic Ionic magnesium. Stir and drink and follow with 4-8 Oz water. We’ve been doing this for years so we’ve worked our way up to these amounts and do this twice daily. I would suggest that you start with smaller amount ms and work your wat up to this.
Thank you Heidi! Love every video that you share! You are truly blessed and God is good ! Love and prayers always!
I finally got around to watching the Whole video lol. I saved it to 3 different categories for it's many uses. TY Heidi. Many Blessings to you.
Thanks Heidi! I will watch this one again. I'm making beef broth this morning, it cooked all night. I want to make sure I didn't miss anything. Many Blessings!!
I've used Anthony's for years and it has never disappointed.
I have heard a quarter teaspoon in your canner instead of vinegar helps keep build up off your jars without rusting your canning rings the way vinegar does.
It also keeps your canner from turning dark from using multiple times.
Thanks for Everything you share to make our life easier for life and well being ❤
Good morning Heidi I didn’t know this thanks again for sharing this very useful information.
Thanks Heidi. 🙂
I'd never considered that cream of tartar would have health benefits either.☺️ Good to know!
Love and blessings! 🤗💜
I have been very happy with Anthony’s products.
I usually use cream of tarter when I've burned simething in a pot. About a tbs and boil in water in the pan. Also used to get hard water spots out of my water kettle.
I would try baking soda in pan first, since much cheaper. I use vinegar in electric tea kettle. Since I started using water from my Goal Zero filter, not much built up.
Burnt saucepan, I put mine out in the sun for a couple of days.
Fantastic sunshine! I had no idea about cream of tartar powder other than for baking. I must do some research. Excited about the cleaning of silver. Interesting about the smoking. Thanks so much for the share. 💕🌞
I mix cream of tar tar with either lemon juice, vinegar, or hydrogen peroxide into a paste, it’s an excellent cleaner especially on pots and pans that are baked on. I learned this from Haley’s hints.
Most of us would benefit from a potassium supplementation. The recommended daily allowance for adults is a little over 4 grams(4000mg) so most of us don't get enough of it in the food we eat.
This is a great video, Heidi! You are always such an incredible wealth of information and I thank you for that!
Thank you excited to try and I appreciate direct link to Anthony’s.
I had no idea one could make baking powder. So interesting!
I’m gonna try it to quit smoking 🙏🏼❤️
Just wondering what happened. You will benefit greatly.
You can do it!
Hello Heidi- I also like Anthony's products too and look forward to how you make use of their products.
Your advice is so wise "Use Caution EVEN with things that are GOOD FOR YOU"; even things tooted as a super food, or nutrient dense.
Due to having no sense of taste, smell or hunger, I was eating a NUTRIENT dense diet vegan that only included things that have enormous benefits to heal my brain and body. After passing a kidney stone, I came to learn that most of the foods I was eating were loaded in oxalates (the cause of kidney stones) and I realized that we should eat / drink everything in moderation. Thank you Heidi and have a wonderful day.
Thank you for sharing that! I am actually editing a video I shot the other day on diets both generally speaking and what I have found works best for me. So many want to push people into a vegan diet which may be fine for some but it is not what is best for all. Yes, too many greens and other plant based products without a proper balance can cause other health issues. I do think elimination diets are a great way to heal certain things or at least find what may be causing certain health ailments but it is rare any of them should be long term
@@RainCountryHomestead You are so correct. I still have to eat a vegan diet due to issues I have with most animal products. BUT, I will never coach anyone to eat the way I HAVE to eat. We all need to respect our body's needs and other people's freedom of choice of what they put into their body. We are all different and there is never one solution for all of us. You know all of this, so I am preaching to the choir. God Bless you dear Heidi.
Moderation in all things... including moderation.
The extremes are what gives your system resiliency. If all you ever experience is 72 degrees, then you stop being able to handle both high and low temps. The occasional night with greasy burgers and fries, the occasional fast, the occasional meatball dropped on the ground (five second rule!), ALL give your system resiliency. Go ahead and have the high oxalate, nutrient dense diet... but not for too long. Ditto with the fasting.
You are a wealth of information!!!
I have been taking cream of tartar for over 30 years. I never take more than 1/4 teaspoon.
It helps with a variety of ailments. The main thing it helps with is stress.
How you take it ? And I. The morning or night?

Ty. I'm gonna experiment & use some in my homemade tooth powder & also abit in your recipe of laundry/all purpose cleaning powder that I love
Thank you! Heidi, great information..
I've been supplementing a severe potassium deficiency with brewer's yeast, which it much more expensive, per serving... Along with the regular foods containing potassium.
I just looked it up, cream of tartar has approximately 500mg of potassium per teaspoon, compared to approximately 2 tablespoons of brewer's yeast, which has about 585 mg. Cost is better, too!😁💕
So now I have more of a choice, especially a low calorie choice!
Yay!
Will be ordering from Anthony's...
I tend toward hypokalemia too. Always have, but it's gotten worse since the chemo. OTC supplements just can't cover it and I HATE the horse pills. I'll be giving this a shot.

I know what you said about the UTI is true. I've used it twice for that. One and one half teaspoon twice a day. I did morning and evening. And get some AZO (generic works) :)
What is AZO please?
@@ThankfulSpirit Takes away the pain and urge to urinate (that often accompanies UTI) It's amazing and Walgreens generic works as well. AZO Urinary Pain Relief will treat symptoms, but this medication will not treat a urinary tract infection.. Take any antibiotic that your doctor prescribes to treat an infection. I was fortunate to catch it in time that Cream of Tartar worked, and in the meantime - no pain with AZO.
For how many days
@@arielslays9256 This man says 1 TBS in 8 oz. glass of warm water 3 times a day. The first time I felt a UTI I drank a tablespoon before bed and that knocked it. The other time I followed the 1½ teaspoon three times a day. You really have to be careful with Cream of Tartar. It's amazing, but it can be dangerous if consumed in too large amounts. If you're in pain get some Urinary Pain Relief at Walgreens. It's their brand - generic for AZO and works just as well. You can't take it for more than two days, so if the UTI isn't gone on the third day go to Urgent Care. UTIs are dangerous.
1 Tbsp. of cream of tartar can be dissolved in an 8 oz. glass of water and consumed three times per day before meals in order to combat a urinary tract infection. Kloss recommends dissolving the cream of tartar in lukewarm water for best results, as it is difficult to dissolve the powder in cold water. I always just use room temperature water.
the smoking thing: well not exactly the same method, but I did drink some mixture that had cream of tartar, salt, maca and orange juice (covers up the maca flavor and texture). can't say it goes well with smoking but it didn't really affect me :) not like I want to quit entirely.
maybe I was a bit light headed for a while so than this might be related.
the above mixture is for my potassium deficiency and seems that it improved my sleep.
Just don't drink before sleep, more like morning or before moving a bit.
Thomas DeLauer had a video, he also suggested cranberries and coconut water, but it should be fine without those.
Also, side note, when I didn't empty the bottle entirely, gets a bit fermented and it smells like home made wine, the small bits go down the bottom and it's exactly the same smell. That also proves that it shouldn't affect smoking, my father often drink that wine and smoke at the same time.
I'd love to make my own baking powder. Many of them in the stores have aluminum, which I do not like. Thanks for the info.
God bless 🙏🏼💜💚
