Been learning how to bait and hook into common carp. Recently discovered they were hiding in my childhood pond I always used to fish at. Gave it my best shot after pre-baiting for 1 1/2 weeks and was not disappointed!

Blackstone River is great water to try out! They even have mirror carp in there! Sudbury River, Merrimack River, Connecticut river. The trick is to pre-bait the area on a schedule. If you bait the spot the same time as the days before, the fish will be there waiting for the bait. Good luck! Hope you pull one in soon!

Heading down to Mass from Maine in a couple weeks where is this your fishing? Understand if you don’t want to provide info. I have a TH-cam channel carp fishing Maine haven’t fish in Mass yet . Nice fish.

Unfortunately can't give away this spot. But the Connecticut river has some monster trophy carp! Hopefully the river cleans up by the time you get down here. Rained a whole bunch these past couple of weeks, and made a flooded mess of the river! Merrimack river has carp, blackstone river has carp. Lake Quinsigamond has some.
