That would be a Leach's giant gecko! And yes the one in July should be a good one! I swear the temptation to impulse buy gets intense every time at every expo 😂
Very common in Florida. They roll off of a cypress tree limb into a boat of fishermen . Then the clown show starts , sometimes the fishermen jump out of the boat.
I was trying to snatch the bugger but it was too quick and dove 😂 believe it or not, mid summer I went down in the everglades and tried looking for rattlesnakes/pythons/copperheads - any snake really, and the whole week there, not one snake! I was pretty upset 😂

On the Connecticut fish and game website, they have all the info for the places they stock kokanees. I believe there's 3 bodies of water that they do. Best time to go is in the fall. Tight lines! 🎣 💪

What about the relocation? Where are you taking them?
Released them back into the yard. Where I am from it is illegal to remove animals from their original location. This is just to show how capture them. Basically you want to bring them to a nice tall grass field, with bushes/shrubs for hideouts/nests. There is where you'll typically find more of them. Best of luck! - Ryan

I've heard using Rainbow smelt oil on lures and bait works really well. Will be testing this soon in the upcoming fall! Tight Lines and best of luck!!

Heading down to Mass from Maine in a couple weeks where is this your fishing? Understand if you don’t want to provide info. I have a TH-cam channel carp fishing Maine haven’t fish in Mass yet . Nice fish.
Unfortunately can't give away this spot. But the Connecticut river has some monster trophy carp! Hopefully the river cleans up by the time you get down here. Rained a whole bunch these past couple of weeks, and made a flooded mess of the river! Merrimack river has carp, blackstone river has carp. Lake Quinsigamond has some.

Go to a feed store and order what we call cow cake. Basically, it's grain squeezed under pressure with molasses. Take a good sized chunk or chunks and put it in a toad sack with a few bricks to weight it so it snks. Fish everytime you go

Once you cut to the tail leave a bit left on the end without cutting it all the way then skim the fillet of the skin makes it much easier
Litttle tip for you new and old fishers that may not have ever heard of this. when you want the scent to last so you don't gotta keep applying it use a livestock small syringe with medium guage needle and inject that attractant into the soft bait not to much or you will bust your bait open it defeats the purpose put just enough .
