My implants raptured and insurance covered the surgery (explant with capsulectomy). I am in California.

@TheSamUp Yes that is an issue. Our patients had not had success getting this covered.

I had checked my Insurance in Minnesota, and it won't cover it unless there is Cancer involved. I don't have Cancer, but I have BII. I have Chemical Sensitivities out of this world. Sometimes, my face and body start itching, and my eyes will swell out of the blue. Trying to work hard to save up ($12,000) to get these 24-year-old suckers removed.
Always start with diet, fluid intake, air quality and sleep as your prep work.
There was a woman who had hers removed. Insurance covered it based on the Medical Coding (Billing) used. It is possible, BUT not everyone will get this benefit.
The medical coding is not the basis of coverage. Each carrier may have exclusions and other specifics in each policy as it relates to any. cosmetic treatments.
Yep, I have 650cc silicone breast implants over the muscle and the left implant has ruptured. If they will cover the cost of removal, I can pay for the new implants 😢replaced.

The recovery is much more efficient when they are above the muscle.
Most of us are so sick we can't work to get financial loans.
See other comments I have made that don’t require surgery. There are several changes to make in diet, air quality, fluid intake quality and sleep that will help.
I had someone in a Fb group have her insurance approve 75% of the cost. They used some kind of code that was for the asia syndrome as that’s what I took from it. I had to look up what that was I didn’t know.
