I love what you said about your boys growing up not having an unrealistic idea of what women's bodies look like. That just great, and thank you.
I used to watch your videos and think how lucky you were to be so slim and still have giant boobs, especially since you never said they were fake. These things contribute to young girl's unrealistic body expectations. Thank you for your honesty now.
I remember thinking that she had a perfect body, turns out it's true that perfection isn't real! x
I think that was one of the reasons I didn't know weather or not to document this, because I had it done so many years ago and never talked about it then. I know it sounds weird but in real life I'm actually quite private and a bit of an introvert. I appreciate you saying this, thank you x
@@hannah_michalak This is an interesting response because it highlights something I have seen other TH-camrs claim too - your perception of self as a private person while simultaneously sharing intimate details about your life (giving birth, relationship info, sharing children's struggles) on a public platform for years. How can these things both be true? Maybe you were a private person at one point in your life, but the reality, the literal video scripts of these videos, demonstrate that not to be true. Maybe this is common with TH-camrs who stumble into this work without any intention of becoming 'TH-camrs.' The cognitive dissonance is interesting though, and something I would enjoy hearing you and Stef discuss. Is it possible to share your life, even if it's the highlight reels, in a public forum and still be able to claim you are a private person? To me it's a hypocritical statement. I say this all with no judgement - you are free to share whatever you want and view yourself however you want! It's psychologically fascinating to me though.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm almost 40 and have always hated my breasts and have wanted to get implants. This video has completely changed my mind and shown me the importance of self-love :)

Yeah, they most of us. Don’t want to get implants. We just wanna have a grown naturally to be looking more womanly. Most of us are greedy and one huge one. We just want some breast, but those of us who are completely flat or just very very tiny that we don’t even need to wear a bra.
I love that people strive to be natural again! I see this quite often now. And also people in my age group (late 30s early 40s) opting out on plastic surgery at all. Love that for us! x
oh me too- it's refreshing, espcially in the age of social media with filters and photoshop and now AI! x
Isn’t that first breathe just amazing! It’s like a whole weight lifted off your chest! It’s like you’re totally reborn with just an all new appreciation for your natural body! 🤍 so happy for you
i was completely blown away by it. I still feel like that now 3 weeks later- every day when i wake up i feel so light! x

I had a reduction almost 2 years ago. Like you I woke up from surgery and imediately looked in the gown. 😊I remember saying, they're so small! My recovery nurse said, you're excited! Yes, I was and still am 2 years later. Exactly how you describe, I feel more myself.
it's the BEST feeling. I didn't even realise i felt that way until they were OUT!! I'm happy for you too :) x
I was the same when my reduction was done, the nurse chuckled and said no their not. I left the hospital with two drains the same day with 36DD and for the first time in many years free of neck pain. Best decision ever.

I’m so happy for you, in that you are so happy with the results! I was shocked when you said you had gotten DD implants. 😮 I never would have guessed that. I’ve been watching you guys for years and not once had I ever looked at you and thought, wow, she’s got big boobs. I didn’t realize that you even had implants. We all know that there can be dangers with having implants and I’m so glad that you’ve taken this journey, and shared it. This is also good for your boys in that it tells them that women are more than just boobs. ❤❤
thank you so much. Yes, it was funny when i had the chat with them- they've been so good about it. I think it's SO important to teach them from a young age that bodies are all shapes and sizes, you know. xx

What a great video ❤ thank you so much. I was told in my 20s that if I had them removed my breasts would look like empty chip packets. I was devastated and went through so many operations. I feel your amazing energy and new found self. What a relief in self acceptance and appreciation. ❤ You look amazing.
oh wow, no that's so horrible. by the surgeon? I hope you're okay now, that sounds like a big journey x
@hannah_michalak it was his assistant who said it. I was just too young and easily influenced. I so.wish I'd been more aware. The surgeon was very flippant, not very supportive at all. I breastfed my 5 boys but had so much difficulty after the op.

Hi thanks for this. I’m day 2 And related so much to what you said. I went from A cup to D cup and now not sure . Everything taped and strapped up at the moment so hard to see what I am left with . Loved your bully comment. I have his brother on my shoulder called MLB. My little bastard 😂. Waiting for the first few post anaesthetic day to pass . Glad I have me back though. Xxx

After breastfeeding 2 kids my mind does wander to the what ifs of considering surgery… Thank you for this Hannah because I won’t again (and rightfully so) Rest up! ❤️ And would love to hear more about raising boys (I relate a lot to needing a little more independence!) x

Hi Hannah, that’s it! This video has given me the kick up the bottom to get my implants out! Mine have been in for far too long, I was just worried that I would be left with spaniels ears 😮. Please could you tell me where you went as I would feel much better having a recommendation. Speedy recovery x

I like people are embracing their more natural selves. My hair started going grey a couple years ago (I am in my mid 30's now) and I have no intention to color it. Let's see what happens.
YES YES YES!!! I LOVE grey hair, genuinley i think it looks beautiful. and refreshing to embrace it, right?! x
@@hannah_michalak Well I have red hair so it's not that visible yet. But I hate the idea of touching it up all the time and also I would lose my original hair color and I just don't want that.

Sanity is returning ... explanting is up 34% and implanting is down 15% now !

You get sent home with strong painkillers!!? I've had four cesareans and only had paracetamol and ibuprofen to take at home 😂

When I hug my bestie of 35yrs, it always feels ODD with the massive implants that she opted for about 16yrs ago. Somehow I doubt that she'll ever have them removed though. They look even bigger on her tall slim frame now than they used to, because she became a Type 1 Diabetic 2yrs ago, and we all know what those Meds do to the body's size / shape. She's 6' tall, really skinny with 2 huge headlights. 🤫I never said that though! 🤭😁
DD?? Wait, what?? Really? I wouldve never guessed you had implants to begin with but you were that large? Im a 42D and i have serious large saggy udders on my chest. LOL Maybe you hid them well...
Wow...Im jealous...mine look terrible but they are my actual boobs....age and weight gain have made mine the way they are.
Im shocked truly....you wore the old ones well bc all I see are mine...too big...hate em
you have to know that the ‚cup size‘ (the letter) change with the underboob range (the number).
(maybe I don’t use the right expresses/ words - I am not English native).
this is what not lots of women know (thus the confusion about Bra sizes …).
so the cups are basically smaller when your underboob size is smaller.
doubleDD is smaller with ‚smaller girls‘ than your doubleDD.
you can look that up! :)
aw yes, i would never really dress to show them, unless i was in a sports bra working out. I never planned for them to be that big but after 2 kids it just happened! x
