For the last month or so, you guys are releasing tuts which happen to answer the questions I have either in Houdini or Blender... Keep up the excellent clairvoyance! (And tutorials)
It's really those little things like"press shift and enter" that makes Houdini more accessible and are at the same time not very obvious for the new user. More of this is very much appreciated :)
Great tutorial! do you have tutorial about creating kind of creatures that Erik Ferguson (fergemanden) created?! I didn't find any tutorial and courses that teach how to make these kind of nasty and sometimes funny creatures. they are so cool and the shaders he makes for the skin and flesh looks so realistic!
@@dianasilvadesigns you can export as .obj file by right clicking on your final node inside the geometry container. Here is a quick video that I found showing how to do it: th-cam.com/video/OKclu5j7QrQ/w-d-xo.html
@@sweetestgravy9880 oh really?! thank u ! i only just started using houdini so i followed this tutorial, exporting it as obj will show the animation if i open it in c4d?

if you like that, highlight two nodes you intend to merge, drag the line down and alt click below them
This is exactly what i was looking for. Thanks for giving the niche topic some light.
Thanks again! I'm glad that you're starting to include the topic of export in your tutorials
Great tutorial as always, can't thank you enough for the hard work you guys are doing.

please more pipeline stuff to blender Cycles since alot of folks can't afford redshift or Arnold
Quick question, do you use another software to create the texture, lighting, color, and camera angles for this project?
Alambic doesn't work in HOUDINI APPRENTICE?
I’m new to Houdini. What is the advantage of exporting to a different software to render??
👍
f in the chat for my fellow apprentice users :(
is there any other way to export ?:(

@@dianasilvadesigns unfortunately not, as .obj files do not support animation but only still frames.
@@sweetestgravy9880 what about exporting every frame as obj? is there a way to make a animation out of it?
takes me 30 seconds in Clo lol
lovely!
