    Thank you so much for not just clicking a shelf-button. So many tutorials do that and don't seem to understand that the entire point of houdini is to learn how it works under the hood. 10/10 tutorial

    I hope you're not getting discouraged by the viewership, great houdini tutorials so far, your "old" viewshiper that has little to do with 3d/Houdini might not be interested in that but then again you draw a new viewership like me to your channel. Well done pal.

      Thanks Jonathan! You are absolutely right. I am aware that After Effects and Houdini tutorials do not have the same audience. But time passes, things change, we keep developing. I don’t get discouraged, no worries. New challenges bring new motivation!

    How did you make the cool visualization from the thumbnail. Great video btw

      I just made some colored area lights, a simple backdrop and added materials to the objects. That’s really it. Thanks 😊

    Thank you for the great introduction. How can I convert the cloth mesh to quads again (after the sim) ? Thank you

    • @graphicINmotion
      @graphicINmotion  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use exoside quad remesher. But you can also just simulate a quad mesh.

    • @graphicINmotion
      @graphicINmotion  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can also drive a high-res quad mesh with a low-res triangle simulation using point deform. I show this also on Patreon in the Slide project.

      @@graphicINmotion Just thought triangles worked better; thank you!

    • @graphicINmotion
      @graphicINmotion  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@brunosuraski5026 triangles work usually a bit better, but it also works with quads. It always depends what you want to achieve and how the resolution is.

    15:47 How do you get your Thicken shape to be smooth like this? Mine is a hard edge. Thank you for these excellent tutorials!

    • @graphicINmotion
      @graphicINmotion  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Use thicken on the Vellum Post Process node. Make sure your display is set to smooth shading.
