Huge thanks to Jim Ollick for editing this video!
Excellent Video! I searched for a long time and yours was the only one detailing this job. very thorough. Thank You
Thank you for the positive feedback!
I just did this job and your video was a great help. Especially your trick about putting ball bearing to push out the hub. You also convinced me to do it right and replace the onboard seal.
@@larrydeem3071 excellent work Larry!
The theory of 4x4 Axle seal and wheel bearing is same, so I'm sure it going to help me repair my FORD RANGER hopefully. Thanks dude !
@@NativeNepal hope it helps!
Just discovered your channel and browsed through your videos, this is an absolute goldmine for any Tundra owner .
@@dave8114 thank you for the positive feedback!
This is an excellent video love the detailed instructions!
Thank you Joe!
Besides the Blur, Awesome and detailed vid. Appreciate the help 👍🏽
@@wredstar thank you!
Unfortunately, I had to blur some things to avoid issues with my former work.
Great video man! Very informative!!!
Thank you for the feedback!
TY for video I was looking for the info on the seals.
So I always put Copper Anti-seize on the Hub Flange shaft, it helps keep if from "Seizing" in the inner bearing races. I work on a lot of beach driven trucks and have had a number basically be welded to the shaft from salt damage, so now EVERYTHING is Anti-seize if is just metal to metal connection and doesn't call for grease or oil lol.
Good suggestion!
Bow down to master of its craft. Masterful as always. Keep it up. 👏🤟👍🏽💯💪
Much appreciated!
Nice I like the tundra fixes and maintenance
Right on!
Very Nice Job Viktor. 👍
Many thanks!
Did I miss the part where you greased the bearing or comes pre-greased?
It is a sealed unit, greased from factory, cannot be taken apart.
Thanks! Great vid btw.

Thanks for the visit!
If I buy a Toyota OEM hub assembly and wheel bearing can they be pressed together? So they sell it as one unit?
Toyota doesn’t sell the complete assembly pressed together, but you could buy all the parts separately and ask a shop to press it together for you.
Will a bad wheel bearing cause a buzzing feeling in the steering wheel at higher speeds?
@@hammy9760 potentially, yes, but without being there to diagnose it, I can’t guarantee that it’s the actual problem.
@@Viktor_G_Automotive thanks for the reply. I have a 2012 tundra 4wd with 90k. I just had to replace a rear wheel bearing so just considering doing both the front since I noticed the buzzing feeling.
@@hammy9760 sounds good 👍
hello where can we purchase the koyo bearing?
You can check with your local automotive parts store, or maybe see if you can contact Koyo directly.
Hey Viktor Did you do a video on the Bulletproof lift upper control arm uniball replacement how to?
I haven’t finished editing it yet, but it will be coming soon.
Awesome can’t wait to see it! I also have a Bulletproof lift! Keep up the awesome content! DIEHARD YOTA dude!
@@Viktor_G_Automotive awesome can’t wait to see it! I was looking for some tips and how to change out the the upper UCA uniball on my Bulletproof lift! Keep up the great work on the content!🤜🏽
@@blainecruz8710 Thank you!
What size is that ball bearing?
@@siounmano5541 the size is not critical, I think that one was around 10 mm in diameter.
Can we get the part numbers??

For the axle seal, I would check with the dealership parts department with your VIN, I think they may differ depending on your engine size/year.
@@Viktor_G_Automotive awesome, great video

Hi Viktor great content you're putting there. I have some issues with my 2010 rx350 that I need help with. How can I talk to you about it? Email?
Hi, thank you for the positive feedback! You can ask your question here in comments and I will answer if I have a chance to do so.
The push to start often doesn't work. Even tho the key has battery. It always unlocks and locks the car when I approach it. However a lot of times I press the start button and it doesn't turn the car on. The car doesn't say key not detected or anything. And when I set it to passive smart key where you have to touch the key to the button it always made the sound that means it recognized the key, but it would turn on. That happens often after a rain.
The second question is I have some knocking noises from underneath the car when I break a bit hard or when turning the steering wheel all the way. Both mostly on low speeds. The dealership said it's coming from the rear catalytic converter. But when I tried to touch and move it around it wasn't loose at all and didn't make any sounds that indicate something is not connected well or broken
@@jonathanattia2164 Whenever I hear from the customer than an issue may be rain related, I always start by doing a thorough investigation into water leaks. The first thing I would do is pull off both kick panel covers on the driver and passenger side. Behind them, there are many junction connectors. Very often water leaks between the windshield and the body due to an incorrectly installed windshield end up inside those connectors as they are located directly below where the water entry point is. Remove the covers and methodically disconnect each connector one by one and thoroughly inspect each for presence of water or green/blue corrosion on connector pins.
@@jonathanattia2164 This is not a common issue that I have run into. Since the dealership has looked into it, unfortunately, I don't see how I can question their diagnosis without being able to drive the vehicle and listen to the noise.
Fantastic video, sub'd. Excellent step by step.
