    That’s incorrect you can very easily put the evo ten’s intercooler or even a bigger aftermarket intercooler and hard piping from a eve ten easily. Did it on my 2011 ralliart with plenty of room

    Hi Brett, how much will it cost to do a full service like all oils and gearbox oil and filters??? Any other information will be appreciated.

    Just recently became a proud owner of a '12 Ralliart. I should ship my vehicle out from California haha.

    I really appreciate your videos, but I don't agree on the fmic bit here. Surely you would benefit from larger hard pipes and a bigger IC. Heat soak in the ralliart stock fmic is a fact that I myself have experienced. It would make even more sense to upgrade the IC system when changing turbo, especially since it is a weak point on stock turbo to begin with. Switching the piping and IC to stock evo x makes a big difference in controlling heat soak and enabling cooler IAT's, and it only takes a couple of hours if you know your way around cars, no drilling or cutting needed as it bolts right on.

      yes, BUT a Evo FMIC will not make any more (decent) power on the road
      hence our advice

      MRT Performance True. Power may not be increased, but it won’t be decreased either which is the effect of heat soak raising the intake manifold temps. Performance will be increased since you are making the “intercooling” (i.e. heat dissipation) more efficient by reducing risk of heat soak during prolonged periods of high load.

    Soooooooo what if it's a manual transmission? Does that skip the transmission relearn part?

    Hi... I see gfb valve. Please can you tell me how did u set the spring on it? How many turns? Ty

    • @thebiggestboy6614
      @thebiggestboy6614 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you read the instructions that come with the valve, They say to set the spring as hard as possible without hearing compressor surge when letting off the throttle
      Too soft is no good either as the valve stays open for too long and you lose too much boost pressure

    A Ralliart's stock intercooler is small and incompetent as the piping and intercooler after high loads of driving are prone to heat soak. Therefore the benefits from upgrading to aftermarket or an Evo X intercooler have an advantage. Also the oem Evo X intercooler does fit the Chassis is not an issue nor is the front bumper.

  • @strykrchaz
    @strykrchaz 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The evo x intercooler is actually a very easy swap... Might want to look into that information before saying it in one of your videos.

    • @MRTPerformanceAustralia
      @MRTPerformanceAustralia  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      , but does not fit just like OEM, hence needs mods as pipes vary
      so the benefit Vs cost and pain is not worth it

    • @strykrchaz
      @strykrchaz 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      MRT Performance your making more power, more heat requires more cooling. The stock ralliart intercooler already heat soaks. The benefit of having cooler air coming into the engine is DEFINITELY beneficial! You can pick up a used evo x intercooler and pipes for very cheap and it's a quick and easy install. The body difference referred in the video has NOTHING to do with fitting the intercooler either.
      Also cooler intake temperature will allow more room for power, which is also a benefit.

    I never understood the whole putting a lancer X turbo on...WHY wouldn't you put a BETTER Turbo on?...Especially with the XC kit being $10k

    Hi,would a complete half cut from lancer ralliart,including the rear diff and awd system fit into a normal lancer gts?
    cause the both cars share the Cy4a chassis right? so it shuld be fit?

    • @MRTPerformanceAustralia
      @MRTPerformanceAustralia  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      should, cant be sure..........

    • @Kingshock
      @Kingshock 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would need the rear trailing arms of a Ralliart as well as far as I know
