I applied MOHS on my car 6 months ago and it is as good now as when first applied, hoping to get at least 18 months which I think is very likely. Great video by the way, keep up the good work from the UK.

I have been installing mohs along with the other evo line for a few yrs now . In my situation i dont use synchro . I use cure because i dont have the time / space for extended cure time . I have a few customers that i will be seeing in a month or so that is going strong after 2 plus years including winters . I have a question though , could cancoat be used instead of synco ? I haven't tried it and have asked other channels with a not sure response. Good video. GO GYEON !
From what I understand, the Skin top coat is designed to work in conjunction with the Mohs base layer rather than just being a sacrificial layer like Gyeon Cure for example. I think the Mohs does fine as a stand alone coating without the Skin top coat. As far as Cancoat goes, I feel it will work perfectly fine as a protective sacrificial layer which will allow you to release the car faster to the customer. I would wait long as you can before applying the Cancoat on top just so the Mohs has a bit of time to allow the remaining carrier solvents to evaporate. Use the Cancoat like you would use Gyeon Cure or Carpro Release as I highly doubt the Cancoat will bond to the Mohs in the long run as the Mohs will just shed the Cancoat off.
I did my first ceramic coat using gyeon one. Then I had to use cure because mother nature changed her mind and gave me a few showers. Was wondering if I could use can coat next week for a topper. I'm a newbie
Came looking for info on this 2 part coating. Great video, going to be applying this week on my black pearl 21 civic sport. Looks easy enough for a beginner to apply. (Having a pro do the 1 step correction prior to sealing)
debating on Mohs for my challenger, covered in PPF, but i'll throw it on the wheels (once I get new tires) and the black trim, not sure about the Skin bit, Could just throw on two layers of Mohs like they calls for. Now back to crying over Autoglym pulling out of Canada after so long..
@@dtail4uextra protection, but a lot of folks use Cure later. Just depends on how much $$ and time you want to invest into the application. Could do a second coat of MOHS is you had enough product, before it cures.
I dont get it, You use all the things that add Hydrophobic properties which makes the test not conclusive... You should just wash the car with regular mit and shampoo to see how did the Gyeon Mohs hold up. Now i'm not sure how it did
The first hydrophobic product used in this video was the shampoo + … the water behaviour before that point was the original coating and I would say it was 10/10. Sorry, I don’t have the exact time stamp for when I started to use the Shampoo + but it was right after washing the sides of the car with restart wash
Hahaha I was like, hmmmm. Your best bet bro if you’re trying to market all those products in one video is to do a separate video than the one you’re trying to promote the main ceramic coating with. Cause this made no sense. I don’t think Gyeon would approve.

Awesome to hear Geoff. I also think this coating will make it 2 years atleast. Great product. Thank you for watching
You missed a spot @5:56 there is a small triangle where you didn't apply any product
Seen that to 😅
Got love Gyeon products I’ll be calling Chris next week and placing an order
I don’t think I’ve come across any problems with Gyeon and I have quite a few of their products

Thanks for the thorough video. I’ll stick with my Meguiar’s M888 for now as water behavior is similar.
can I just reapply it after 18 months or do I have to prep and polish the car all over again?

Did you use any tire shine on the tires?
Love the video format, would love to see more coating processes and results
Thank you. I’m planning on making longer videos with less editing. Definitely more ceramic coating videos
Is gyeon cure really necessary to apply 1 he after coating?

Why use so many towels when you have them folded? Just use a different side, right?
Can you use this coating for the exterior headlight and plastic. Regards Mark George 🎉
@thecardetailingchannel did you make it with just the one applicator, or did you have to use multiple?
Is MOHS ok to use on the textured black plastic trim?
Looks outstanding! Great results 👏
Thanks brother. You ready for detailing season to start again?
@TheCarDetailingChannel I'm looking forward to it. It's just a hobby for me, and I need some cars to detail 🤣
