I think going so long without food messes your system up for some time. The bloating is likely because you start to suck in air without you noticing it and your bowels gladly move the air around. There's a documentary on Female Killers where someone had to do something because she lied about being pregnant. Look up Lisa M.Montgomery either on Google or watch the documentary on Female Killers. She inte tiobally swallowed air to distend her stomach to fool everyone. (she made fake doc appointments) Instead of getting 3 meals and 2 snacks maybe, your body is now still somewhat in that routine, your body wakes up and is ready for its first meal. If you would get up at 6 and start eating at 8, then your stomach has been growling, your bowels pushing forward gases cause they are out of the sedintary state. That can feel very uncomfortable, aside from the hunger period. And then in 8 hours it has to deal with all the food you ate, which in comparison is a lot. Digesting per meal every few hours I'd say is much healthier. But I like the fact that it's completely nonketo. I wouldn't mind trying a few recipes but I feel like I can't support it. It feels like Atkins 2.0 and I feel us humans need carbs to function. Good carbs like In Hannah's recipes, not just plain sugar all the time. Keto followers would faint and then get a go at how terrible her diet is. Well she looks healthy to me. She hasn't cut out fats completely, though they tend to be on the lower side and I would see if there's some room for improvement there. Just a little bit. Like more Fatty fish because the omega 3 and 6 in it is good for your body.
We fast every night when sleeping sometimes I’ll eat dinner at 6 pm then eat breakfast about 10 The word breakfast is break. Fast if heard of other people not doing well on intermittent fasting too

Hannah, not sure if you have, but get your progesterone levels checked. If it’s low, you can’t get preggers. I use a vegan progesterone serum that works really well for hormonal balance. It happens to be with the company I represent, feel free to reach out. Oh my that Thai salad looks sooo good!

Hannah, try taking your supplements at night. They take longer to absorb and if taken at night, they absorb better. You actually get more of nutritional benefits. If it’s twice daily, then take your second dose at night before bed. I am a healthcare professional so I do know what I’m saying. I wish you the best in your journey. I have always had a problem with taking supplements on an empty stomach. Especially multi vitamins. Got so nauseated that I missed work once because I felt so bad! Luckily, just a bit is food beforehand works every time. Looking forward to the salad videos. Thanks, Hannah!
Really? Never heard of anyone who didn't thrive from IF in the long term. I've done 18/6 for almost 4 years now and it's the only thing that's fixed my health problems and reversed aging. Fasting is natural and humans were not meant to eat 3 times everyday.
I would very much like to hear why you stopped IF. I have tried it several times and always give it up. Not sure why I do. I am so intrigued with how you have love weight eating carbs when everybody tells me to not eat them. You look fantastic and thank you for sharing your information.
Are you checking your basal body temperature? That was key in helping my husband and I get pregnant and it actually told me when I was pregnant before I even took a test.
Definitely do one on IF, please. Not a good practice for women with regard to health (gallbladder issues, thyroid issues) and definitely not for anyone with a history of an eating disorder.

I was so happy to see a new video! Yay! That breakfast looks the bomb 💣 I’ve been plant based since January and feel better than ever. I’ve also started strength training at the gym with a PT. The issue that I had this week made me feel the worst since a LONG time ago :( so apparently my body fat went from 22% from 31% in a month, what?!?! Is that even possible?! I look leaner, my clothes are larger and my husband really encourages me and tells me that I’ve never been as fit as now. My abs start showing up and my rib cage is pronounced however my weight is mainly focused from the waist down and I’ve been reading that when that’s the case the measurements can be really misleading. I DON’T overeat and my PT told me to go to 180-200g (!!!) of protein, 150g carbs and 20g of fat! That’s just not possible on plant based and I felt really Week for the two days I tried doing it...I’ll be doing my regular intuitive eating because I know it makes na feel good and I look better in the mirror and leaner. Does anyone have a comment on this?! Help...I just started training a month ago but I feel stronger and I’m doing high reps much better than two weeks ago...it doesn’t make sense to me. I have a history of body hate and being overweight. Now I’m 145 at 5 feet 7 and I was feeling on top of the work until that measurement day...she didn’t even took measurements, just the balance analysis...

Yes please on intermittent fasting. I found myself bing eating when I did it. I’ve done both the 5:2 (500 calories for 2 days and eat “normally” for 5 days) and 16:8 where you only eat in an 8 hour window every day. Neither worked for weight loss nor did I experience any other supposed benefits.
Hannah please start taking 80O-1000 mg of coq10 w ubiqunol. I did it daily for 3 months, after trying for over a year, and I got pregnant w twins. They’re now 2 and very healthy. Best of luck xxxx
Hi Hannah, another video idea that I would love to see: meals/snacks that are mostly whole vegetables but not salads! I love eating vegetables but I have a lack of imagination for what to do with them without also adding other pretty high caloric ingredients that I'm not really craving or needing.
I take those vitamins too and I love them! I actually think vegans in general should take the prenatal one even if they're not looking to get pregnant since the prenatal one contains the addition of iodine, biotin, and choline.

I would love you to do a video on why you quit IF. I am on my weight loss journey right know and i‘m kinda struggling to figure out how to do it. I struggle to go 100% clean for a longer period, but also when i eat mostly whole foods and sometimes some treats it can completely kick me off and then i‘m going down that rabbit hole of eating as much junk as i possibly can for the whole day(s). Also I am trying IF and overall it helps to be in a deficit but maybe i dont eat enough in my eating window and then i‘m falling off track a few weeks later and start binging.. at the same time I reeeally dont want to count calories.
Ferdinand from @vegains does that all the time (the oatmeal - smoothie/nicecream bowl). It is amazing! Hot and cold. Do you track your fertility? I think it can help a lot with getting pregnant.
i did and it worked the very first time...took my temp every single morning. saw the spike clear as day when I ovulated, and bingo...hung out w/my legs up against the wall and my butt elevated with a pillow for awhile - I was lucky.

raspberry leaf & lady's mantle are great medicinal tea's for getting the uterus ready for pregnancy, but also in general for period pain and hormonal balance etc. if you have a raspberry plant in your garden, you can maybe dry the leaves by yourself. look it up on the web! cool video, the meals look, like always, very tasty :)

The second Moon and Rock quit being vegan, I took a hard look at intermittent fasting, and decided it was potentially disordered eating. (I was intermittent fasting at the time.) I’m not saying it is for everyone, but for me it was really getting borderline. And Rock or whatever choosing one meal a day and getting vitamin deficiency, and then deciding consuming flesh was the answer to his problems, just no. Anyway, I would love to hear you thoughts about intermittent fasting.

Hannah, I hope you read this message. If you want to get pregnant here is my advice. Obviously first know when you ovulate, which is two times a month. Next DONT have sex only when your ovulating. What you do is up to 4 days before you ovulate have sex as much as you can or want. The sperm live inside you up to like3-5 days. Therefore they get a huge head start and can fertilize your egg almost immediately. This was advice I read who knows where, but it made since to me, and it also worked for me. Also I find that being discreet like don’t just tell your husband about this, let it be girl talk, and he won’t know when you ovulate anyways... Bc I feel like it puts pressure on the man and that’s not natural for them. You can be as nervous or as excited or anything that you want it won’t change things. Great video! I abhor (strong word I know) protein powders chalky taste, so I’ve been putting some chickpeas ( maybe 1/4 cup ) into my smoothies. Also edamame works well. I mostly skip breakfast but sometimes have nice cream for desert after dinner which is pretty much a thick smoothie.
I would be interested how intermittent fasting affected you. I stopped doing it. Some people say if you don’t can’t loose weight. What’s your take on that. Thanks
I am so excited that you are trying for a baby. I'm a vegan acupuncturist here in Phoenix and specialize in fertility. Just curious if you have considered removing soy from your diet? It is recommended to avoid soy since it can increase estrogen and may reduce progesterone in the luteal phase. Just an fyi. Love your videos and testimony. Many Blessings!
I used to be vegan but anymore. I’m on my third baby(pregnant now) and all I crave is vegan foods. Especially anything fruit! Maybe because it’s summer idk.

Agathe this can mostly be because you have a smaller eating window or you are intolerant to certain foods... Might not actually be from IF

i did and it worked the very first time...took my temp every single morning. saw the spike clear as day when I ovulated, and bingo...hung out w/my legs up against the wall and my butt elevated with a pillow for awhile - I was lucky.
Yes I highly recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler (spellcheck) if you haven’t read it already! It was a life changing read for me. It makes tracking so clear and simple, like a text book that is actually fun and interesting to read

raspberry leaf & lady's mantle are great medicinal tea's for getting the uterus ready for pregnancy, but also in general for period pain and hormonal balance etc. if you have a raspberry plant in your garden, you can maybe dry the leaves by yourself. look it up on the web!

The second Moon and Rock quit being vegan, I took a hard look at intermittent fasting, and decided it was potentially disordered eating. (I was intermittent fasting at the time.) I’m not saying it is for everyone, but for me it was really getting borderline. And Rock or whatever choosing one meal a day and getting vitamin deficiency, and then deciding consuming flesh was the answer to his problems, just no.
Anyway, I would love to hear you thoughts about intermittent fasting.

@@EveArtie if you will be in Ontario at all there is a restaurant called Vibe Eatery at 112 March Street Sault Ste. Marie that makes a vegan poutine sometimes as a special. We will be heading to my family's cabin in Ontario next week and will be visiting the restaurant for the first time! I can't wait! It'll be the first restaurant we've been to where everything can be ordered vegan! We're soooo excited!

Hannah, I hope you read this message. If you want to get pregnant here is my advice. Obviously first know when you ovulate, which is two times a month. Next DONT have sex only when your ovulating. What you do is up to 4 days before you ovulate have sex as much as you can or want. The sperm live inside you up to like3-5 days. Therefore they get a huge head start and can fertilize your egg almost immediately. This was advice I read who knows where, but it made since to me, and it also worked for me. Also I find that being discreet like don’t just tell your husband about this, let it be girl talk, and he won’t know when you ovulate anyways... Bc I feel like it puts pressure on the man and that’s not natural for them. You can be as nervous or as excited or anything that you want it won’t change things. Great video! I abhor (strong word I know) protein powders chalky taste, so I’ve been putting some chickpeas ( maybe 1/4 cup ) into my smoothies. Also edamame works well. I mostly skip breakfast but sometimes have nice cream for desert after dinner which is pretty much a thick smoothie.

I am so excited that you are trying for a baby. I'm a vegan acupuncturist here in Phoenix and specialize in fertility. Just curious if you have considered removing soy from your diet? It is recommended to avoid soy since it can increase estrogen and may reduce progesterone in the luteal phase. Just an fyi. Love your videos and testimony. Many Blessings!
Soy does not affect our estrogen levels as we are not plants :) Dr. Greger has a great video on soy and estrogen def worth a watch!
Plant estrogen is not the same as mammalian estrogen.

I used to be vegan but anymore. I’m on my third baby(pregnant now) and all I crave is vegan foods. Especially anything fruit! Maybe because it’s summer idk.
