      Started the vegan path 18 months ago after watching Hannah on TH-cam, bought a hairdryer, and an instapot, then got Hannah's book and it was all history from there, we no longer need all our meds, my doc has taken me off 2 , my husband is off 3 and turned his diabetes around🤗

    I loved this video! I became a whole food, plant based vegan because of your inspiring videos! I've lost 30lbs so far and I'm feeling AMAZING! My life has changed because of you! I'm not too my goal weight yet but the light at the end of the tunnel is so close; I can't wait to see my final result!!!

    I love your videos. I am pregnant with my 4th baby. That makes 5 total with my step daughter. I am trying to get them to eat more veggies. I love the idea of cooking without oil! We are not vegan but I was vegetarian with all my pregnancies before and with how horrible I have been feeling, depression, and anxiety taking over, I really feel a healthier diet is what I need. I was thinking of preparing all the veggies meals and then cooking meat options on the side for the husband and kids to add to the meals. I feel like this would help me not become over whelmed be making multiple meals when I make the vegetarian switch again. Thank you again for all the ideas love the videos and all the hard work you put into them!

    that's how i eat too, i make 2 dressings , one soup, 2 types of legumes , steam ahead some potatoes for fries , some wild rice
    make one massif 5 pound salad out of at least 6 veggies and sturdy greens , this can be tossed in to a soup or stir fry as well
    that's the base i have ready and i add whatever i want but i always have foods ready to eat for bowls or stir fry's
    i invest a day and cruise through most of the week after that with minimal prep

    I love this "What I eat in a week" trend. I see it more around various "influencers" and I really love it. Especially for more impressionable people, so they are less likely to follow a "What I eat in a day" as a religion. This way shows so much more diversity.

    Yes please! More videos like this one. I think it really helps to see the overall week rather than one day because it really shows how simple this lifestyle can be when it comes to our food choices. I like to see how you incorporated the big batch cooking throughout the week. It also showed me that I'm not doing all that badly on my eating. Thank you again.

    I agree that seeing what someone eats in a week is way more helpful than a day. In real life people use leftovers and revolve recipes around what's already in the fridge. This is part of why meal plans don't work for me, because you have to have one million ingredients and eat a new recipe for every meal. In reality, I eat the same thing a few days in a row. This video also shows how easy it is to whip up amazing recipes with only a few ingredients.

    You and lilykoi hawaii are my two favorite vegan TH-camrs -- y'all actually EAT. Like, if I'm going to be eating only plant-based whole foods, there'd better be A LOT OF IT. I too hate being hungry, and am so glad to see that the two of you aren't attempting any ridiculous gimmicks or eating tiny portions.

    Definitely, a helpful video for a newbie Vegan (like me!) I'm a month in and some days struggle on what to make to eat. I would appreciate more of these type of videos. I enjoyed seeing a typical week in the life of an experienced vegan.

    Great video! Your what I eat in a day videos are the best because you actually eat! I would like to see this style of video again. Also it would be fun to see what Derek eats in a day as I think it's crazy how much these men can eat my husband being one of them.

    Nice video. Defiantly worthwhile doing one of these regularly as the seasons change. Also , perhaps do a video summarizing all the seasoning blends you use and where you get them. They whiz by so quickly.

    For a sore throat try fresh ginger, whole lemon or lime including pith/skin add in an optional pear and a little honey. Blend in a blender and spoon out a couple of heaped tablespoons into a mug add boiling water. I feel fantastic afterwards.

    Have you tried fasting? I used to be hungry all the time and I was always thinking about my next meal, but after fasting for only a day I found that my appetite, my mental clarity, and my spiritual focus were so much better! I know not everyone is into fasting, but I've found my mind, body, and spirit have improved a LOT since I've started incorporating regular fasting. I can go all day without eating or worrying about food now! Even my blood sugar is more steady. It really helped reveal to me what my desires and addictions are, and it really helped remind me that I don't nee anything, even food, as much as I think I do.

    Can you show different vegetable recipes you make in your air fryer? I would love a video just in general of vegetable side dishes and how you prepare them. I know it might seem basic and straight forward but actually seeing what you do and exactly how you make it is helpful!

    OMG I just made Hannah's pea soup but I used yellow split peas and added 1/4 tsp of ground jalapeno pepper seasoning and I didn't blend it. I could have eaten the whole pot. This will be a regular at my house. Thank you so much Hannah.

    BTW in the pico de gallo, the lime juice will "cook" the onions when you let it sit for a few minutes, as in ceviche. That's what it does 😊

    Inspiring video! Seeing what you eat in one week really helps with the meal planning and how to figure out what to buy on a weekly basis. Its so much more doable this way. I to plan my week on batch cooking at least three meals. Some smoothies, oats and something that may inspire me during the week to cook and that way it's not overwhelming.
    You gave us a lot of great ideas and I'm am making my list to go food shopping now!!...thanks again!!

    Hannah! I have watched your videos for sooo long. I found you when I first started my veghead lifestyle 4 years ago, and have followed your weight loss journey too. You have been such a tremendous help and influence for me when it comes to cooking and just life in general over the last 4 years! I love how simple you all are, and how simple you make your recipes. I love how you use the same foods in so many different ways to really maximize the ingredients you have! Long story short, end of 2017 and all of 2018 was a ROUGH year for me. I gained 40 pounds at the end of 2017, weighing 173, the most I'd ever weighed at the time. Worked my ass off beginning of 2018, lost all the weight I wanted and made it down to 135 pounds. Maintained that until August I started to gain weight again. Now we're 4 months in to 2019 and I weigh 183 now... I have lost so much motivation, confidence, and drive to be healthy and happy again. Your videos have really started to help me WANT to be healthy again and fuel my body with good, healthy and nutritious veggies, fruits, legumes, etc. rather than pizza, french fries, soda, potato chips, and processed alternative "meat."
    Quick question, I LOVE mixing bowls of ingredients like your veggies mixed with rice and/or beans, however, I always feel like I am missing that "crunch" of a chip. Like at Q'Doba or Chipotle, you mix all your veggies and rice and can get a side of chips. I like to scoop whatever I've thrown together with chips - which is definitely adding unnecessary calories, I know. Do you have any suggestions on how to add that carby-filled crunch without hurting your health/fitness progress?
    Sorry for the novel... haha. Anyways, thanks for being you and sharing your light across the world

      Nuts, or I like to throw on crunchy lettuce, greens or shredded raw vegetables with my rice dishes, depending on the dish. It might do the trick

    I eat very similar and like all same foods as you do. I make large batches of rice, quinoa, spicy beans, soups, etc. You are eating well!

    Feel better! I love your books so I can't wait to buy the next one! I actually like to watch you prepare food because I feel like I learned more by watching! I bought my first week and just looked on TH-cam was really simple actually just chopping it up and I put in all of it including the dark green part because it has fiber and I need fiber desperately.
    I have never cooked with dates so I'm looking forward to making something with them chocolatey' I don't use maple I don't feel like I need it. I'm just happy I continue to be on the path to losing weight and we canning my body at almost 57 years old and you and Derek were a huge help! Right now I'm using the Jon Gabriel method because the audios the positivity really really help me to listen to this audio stay in day out very important to me at this stage.

    That sounds like you got the norovirus on the ship. It's the most common on ships and enclosed spaces. It spreads through touch so it's super important to wash your hands or use sanitizer before you eat, after you have gotten your food and drink and really just after you touch things that everyone touches.
    Anyway food looks amazing as always! Love your content!!

I need some new recipes in the rotation lol.     I love this video. I’ve watched at least 3-4 times and did some food prep of steamed potatoes, corn & kale, among other things. It will make it easier to me to eat more veggies. Veggie videos are really good. I’m going to try the chocolate oatmeal too. Thanks for sharing. Tere

    I love this! Thank you. If you do this again, can you please add in what you are drinking throughout the day. Water/tea etc and I liked when you mentioned what time you were eating. It’s just a good example of intuitive eating. Thanks again - Erin

    This video was sooooo helpful for me. I used to be vegan for 3 years but I quit because I wasn't feeling great at all on the diet but I know now that it was totally my fault because I was basically living off processed vegan "meats" and soy ramen. I'm recommitting to a vegan diet but this time I want to eat all the yummy veg. Sometimes it does feel really uninspiring to look at a fridge with just veggies though because I dont want stir fry every night, that's why I loved this video so much because these recipes are different to me and it gets me excited to be in the kitchen again. THANK YOU 😊

    So, Hannah. I'm a male, 44 years old, had a colon resection 16 months ago to remove a golf ball sized cancer.
    After that I found Dr. Greger and became aware of how important his advice is.
    I'm strongly considering following the advice of this video and I feel compelled to document it.
    It seems to me that maybe I don't need to worry about how much I eat from this video; but instead I should stick to just these items.
    Maybe I'm oversimplifying it. Any thoughts?
    I've really struggled with becoming vegan almost completely because it's hard to find a groove of being prepared.
    My wife has transitioned to almost vegan very well, but her schedule is much different than mine.
    Excuses, I have a few.
    I have no issue with vegan food and I'm not a person who thinks I can't live without meat.
    I'm a sugar addict, I know that. I've broken the cycle in the past but that was nine years ago. The point being is I know I can break it again.
