The Canon R8 is a really great camera and I've really enjoyed it so far. The price is really good for what you get! It's almost a professional level camera so the quality is really good and it's also built really well! This camera is great for vlogging with a 16 or 24mm lens, and with a prime or zoom lens it's great for photography! Hope you have a lot of fun on your photography journey! :)
For vlogging definitely go for a 16mm or 24mm lens. Those are pretty wide so they won't be too close when you are vlogging. One I would personally recommend is the Canon RF 16mm F2.8
Hey no problem! Another camera you may be interested in is the Canon R100. It is far cheaper but has more limited capabilities. I plan on doing a video reviewing that one sometime!
