I am a driver in the military if u look by the driver door. Or on the inside of the door there should be a plate that gives your shipping information with tie down and gross vehicle weight information
Randee I used to run escort for OD loads. One load was 20ft square so it had to move at night. The driver had mounted two spotlights to the bottom of the sleeper aimed back down low at the front of the trailer so he could see where the corner was in the dark. I was very impressed. It made it easier getting through a construction zone in Kentucky that was very tight.
Good to see a young guy like you thinking for yourself. It’s clear you put thought into what you do and do your best. I admire your work ethic and I know you work hard for your family. Much respect and best wishes to you Randee.
I've secured heavy equipment for 20+ years. Your doing a good job on yours. Don't let the safety lights bankrupt you. Just do what is legal to save many headaches in the future. Safe travels.
I was army for 6 years so im going to impart some wisdom on you. All military vehicles have a placard on them (usually in the cab) that shows exactly how secure the load on a trailer. That will take the guess work out of securing your loads and u will not miss tie down points like on the hemtt.
+Louis Ferdinando ok thanks but it might differ because I use smaller chains then what Military uses..and it's usually easy to see the tie downs..if I have any issues at least now I know I can jump inside to find that diagram
It will have chain specs listed with how much weight should be on each point to keep it stable. And if you ever pick up another hmmwv trailer or the like they have the info on the tongue. And one last little thing. When u get those large transport vehicles like hemtts and lmtvs they have auto inflating tires. Ask the guy loading it to put the vehicle into sand mode after he gets it up there. Takes about 5 min but it will lower the vehicle height by about 4 inchs. Then before you offload just put it back onto highway. air break compressor will fill the tires back up.
Good vids, but the USAF wouldn't let the ISU90's or the shipping containers go metal to metal at least 3 pieces of dunnage (wooden or hard plastic 4 x 4's) are required. Unless they never plan on it getting on an airframe. Any 2T2 would check the the bottom of the container and frustrate it in a heartbeat..
I hauled mail for post office for 30 yrs those are sweet loads you got there, i think if i could i would go back in time and do that! your truly blessed.
Randee Lewis Hello , remember it's been some time ago I commented on your straps being over rail rather than inside an a comment about gangs ok ok you remember ! I've been following you for awhile an your really doing great an your getting better an better I like that you take slit if pride in what you do an your humble man all I can say is welcome to the top guys like us are like 1an 6 I knew in the beginning to watch you work your way up keep it up its been over 20 yrs for me an dang if I ain't hauled alm nickels to medical going overseas nasa rocket boosters tanks an shit I can't even tell ta what it was lol an I'm still learning ... So here is my question / favor to ask you ! Would you send me a list of the agents an brokers you use that pay the best an keep you busy in sure it's a combo not every one is lucky to gave one that does all for me his name is Larry an is retired an that just sucks ass but it's time for Larry to gush an play cards but if you'll do this for me I will make damn sure o mention you every time I establish a deal an ID be willing to cord ate with you so we can meet up an ill buy you lunch an a Bpm for your truck & trailer or certificate to where an when of your choice my name is Mike an ID be grateful as hell now Larry is playing full time n49deg@gmail Oh an Randee thanks an keep on keeping on
Glad to see you're back Randee and that you are doing good! Great informative videos. With your attitude, dedication and work ethic, the sky is the limit man! Stay safe out there!
just found your channel super glad enjoy wathing you work and talk about your loads but would love to see some videos of you doing some driving down the road and talk as we goo but thanks for sharing and be safe
I used to haul military trucks from bae systems near Katy, TX going to ft lewis,wa. $5,000 per truck, pick up multiple units and then put 2 per trailer making a $10,000 load.
I work active Airforce working on jet engines and I get to help load and unload engines when we ship them out. I usual will help chain, unchain, tarp, and untarp. Most of the drivers I speak with all like military loads. Pretty cool to see you had your fair share of them too
This Is the First Video Of Yours I Watched... And I Subscribed Because I Like Your Attitude Man... Unlike Other People You Are Asking For Other People's Advice And I Like That Man... Keep It Up Brother And Be Safe Out There
A piece of advice add aditional plug on the rear of the trailer for a auxilary strobe light if your switch fails or if you need aditional lighting on the trailer and truck hooked to the park lights
you should always call and get directions from the tmo. i was an owner operator for 30 years did a lot of hauling for the military. i had a trail king rgn with a flip axle, my favorite thing to haul was the abrams and D 9 dozers. i loved hauling in californis because if you have the required lights you can request night running,
first load was a hemmitt i think with pls system, the marines version of the this truck has a third rear axle.this configuration also comes in fuel truck, wrecker, and drop side version
The HEMTT is the family of trucks the military uses. This one is an LHS. Load handling system. Used for flat racks and such. The one with the 3rd rear axle is a PLS. Palletized load system. Pretty much same shit just for bigger loads. And then you are correct there are fuelers, wreckers, and cargo versions with cranes on the rear. Im sure there are other models but i haven't seen them yet
Marine corps version lvsr 18,16,15 and it's 10x10 can handle way more weight then hemett and army does not have any version of the lvsr what so ever they might have something close but not the lvsr and second load is a mrap and isu 90
So the load looks great..for this model truck m1120a4 or similar models have the operator dump the suspension on the tractor that way it won't bounce at all and loosen up your chains and binders...it will also give you more clearance up top
I’m at fort Polk, a military base in Virginia , and their were some truckers here loading up some tanks, and I asked them where they were taking them too and how much they make from delivering them, and they said Florida and that they were going to make about $20,000 off one tank they deliver
I work at Fort Knox for the Army Reserve command. Most of the loads out of here are ones I work with. I work as a civilian and military, but do loading for tanks, HMWWV's, PLS's (Oshkosh) ( like the one you hauled) and about anything you could imagine. Hit me up and I'll make sure your cargo load is done properly and in a secure manner. Best of wishes.
Don't take my previous comment to personal ,I understand u are just trying to make as much as you can per load .you are defantly moving in the right direction . Take my advise on the chains though and also mabe look into getting a RGN trailer ,you can haul bigger vehicles and charge for a specialized trailer
Hey brother I was wondering if I could pick at your brain. I don't know if you have a Facebook account or not, But I'd love to steal some of your time and take in some knowledge about hauling equipment
I use heater hose to wrap my chains on a cross chain snug. Take heater hose that will fit over your chain, cut about 1ft sections and slit it all the way with utility knife. Works great
Doing ecpidided back in 2002, in a van. In CLT do I want a local pickup about 125 miles to Akin, SC. 1 piece of 4x8 aluminum. Wow, had no idea what GE Savannah River Site/ Project. 1 hr to get past security guards with full auto m16 type weapons. 12 miles past guard house. Follow these directions, exactly. If lost, pull over, we'll come to you. DO NOT get out of vehicle, or you might be shot. Got half way in, lived up a front and rear escort to yard. Turns out it was a bomb building plant. Now closed. Interesting.
I see the chains, but can you do a video of how you chain? You said you used 5 chains and 10 binders. I can kind of see it in the video and in my mind, but actually seeing how it’s done helps me more. Great videos though. I see this is 3 years old. Hopefully you’re still running!!
Yeah I stopped making videos so I’m not sure if I have one where I show exactly how I did it..it’s simple and easy,.just think about the chain being 2 different chains and use one end for one side and one on or their side
Don't go all out with strobes ! One on each side of you sleeper above the highth of your windows will be perfect ,alot of states are cracking down on improper lighting and that god for lights in the grill and places there not supposed to be .the lights on your trailer are good and one on each side of the cab is good. Your widest milatary loads are going to be under 11 ft .you don't want to call attention to yourself going into scales cause believe me ,they don't care your hauling military, they will fry you ass regardless..my point is keep it simple and legal with the oversize and buy a oversize regulations book at a truck stop and study it ,every state is different and also have different curfew times around city's. Everything varys state to state ..if you have any oversize questions, just ask ,i am currently hauling oversize jet engines for Boeing and GE for there 777 aircraft ,that all I do ,Cincinnati to Seattle and back every two weeks and I have 20 years of oversize experience
im looking into this field...is this oversized freight really worth the extra stress? just curious, bc im looking at a bigger picture. company im looking at offers tankers for a extra 2 cents a mile, i just dont see that pay being worth it with the added stress...
Look into Land star, Keen transportation and National transportation all do heavy haul, their drivers can also post post reviews on glassdoor and now indeed.
Hey, g'day. I've only been driving nearly 3 years. Started with grain until I had my 2 years experience that most companies want to see. And now I'm pulling deck. I've seen many trucks in the US loaded with military equipment and thought to myself that some day I'll be hauling stuff like that. But up here in Canada, there isn't much of that going on and the US doesn't like us Canadians picking and dropping that same load in US. But maybe I'll still have that chance up here even though it's not often it happens
Abrams mfg make quality lights, there's fenix lights, speed tech lights, whelen is expensive as all get out, but they are top and so is Code 3. From my understanding Code 3 lights are customizable to suit your needs. I wouldn't go to cheap with emergency lights.
If you need assistance loading any thing on Fort Hood, let me know. I work for a local tow company with several heavy wreckers to help load. We already work with Iron Planet.
Great video Randee. I really enjoy hearing your thoughts on what's happening with your freight and business in general. I'm trying to work out where the 2,350-lb. WLL came from. It looks to me like you're working with 5/16-in. grade 70 chain, WLL of 4,700-lb. per securement. I presume your chain pockets are good for at least 4,700-lb. No wonder DOT barely glances at you - you've got 47,000-lb. of securement! It's all good, I do the same thing, particularly on coils. The guys running four points with 3/8-in. chains would have 26,400-lb. of securement. Just enough, but like you, I prefer more. Keep up the good work. Hoping you might stop by Tunica later this month. I'll keep an eye skinned for you.
+Mark Hawkins thanks and the 2,350 wll comes from direct meaning it's going directly to a point on the load from the trailer at which point your only allowed half the normal WLL..if it's going from one side of the trailer over or thru the load to the other side of trailer it's called Indirect and you are allowed the full 4,700 lbs WLL..and yes my chains are 5/16..n yes I always feel confident when passing a scale knowing I have more then enough securement
Sweet , there are truckers that deliver loads to Area 51, they drop their trailer off somewhere, not on the facility, go to a motel for the night, someone else moves the trailer, they have no idea what they are hauling, come back the next day hook up, and on their merry way, pays very, very well I understand . They have an escort I heard.
Less lights the better, less to keep working! Strobe on top in center, or maybe 2 mirror mount setup. The nice square Whalen ones. Stop at a trailer place, grab a rubber booted switch. That switch is a cheap inside style switch, u run thru a lot of weather youll be changing it next month
While at trailer place for waterproof HD switch, grab front and rear oversized signs, flags for all 4 corners and a few to stick on load. I like the magnetic mount flags for load, like a 3in round magnet. U like your bungees so either or type of flag lol
Swing by a good trailer place that sells Lowboy trailers, they'll have everything u need. 3/8 Grade 100 chain, 80 min i like to use. Heavy haul youll need a few .1/2 for heavy haul oversized but that truck and trailer isn't really a truck for heavy haul oversized stuff
Damn Man i Use To Work For That Same Place Jones Motor Company Spring City Pa Work For Them For 13 Years Haul a Lot Of Military Stuff Glad To See There Still There Made a Lot Of Money Working For Them From 1990 Till 2003 Then i Got Sick Bad Health Have a Safe Trip Nice Seeing Some From There !!! and i see There Still Paying Great Money
Quick word of advice, don't post videos or pics of any military or other agency equipment or loads on social media for any reason, ever. Good luck, be safe.
my future tailer, My future goals on loads!! my very 1st load was grapes paid 4.50per mile $7,000 total to the company :) Cant wait to get that military frieght! congrats on the soon to be wide loads.. I'll send you suppier info on quality waterproof toggles soon (for cement mixer trucks) cheap
First time watching you video...I will def stay tuned in..good knowledge for sure...two thumbs up....ill be hitting you up in dm in a few weeks with questions if you don't mind..
Hey, I'm new to this so I might be wrong but looking at the back of you truck,,don't you need reflecting tape at the top of you cab,,,??? I want to thank you for all your videos, like I said I'm new and I'm learning a lot from you,,,,hope to see you on the road,,good driving,,Andy
How much on average do these military loads pay per mile. I know you said $4.85 per mile for a short haul. But how much for a Virginia to California load?
That's what's up with the military it's all excessive but hey if a private owner operator gets a load like this more power to you hey it's all about the dollars, bless that load because of you do well it will be more like that to come
Did you work with a freight agent/broker to get these loads? If so, what's the name of the company? I live near and used to work on Fort Bragg and see these types of loads leaving base all the time.
I would put the light bar/strobe on the cab roof not the sleeper. I like the grill and mirror lights it's all about visibility. Enjoy your videos and humble attitude keep up the good work
Randee Lewis that's what I thought I'm Puerto Rican from New York and my wife is Irish my Boston which it's wierd bc of the sports lol but we have two beutiful mix kids lol
Randee Lewis ok thanks. You got FB? You add me. Id like to talk to you about your company you are working for. Christopher L Hill on FB. I like your set-up
Good video but I'm curious. Got a question. Why didn't you throw tarp over the military truck so flying debris won't hit it? Respond when possible. Thanks.
Randee im reaching out to you brother because that was a great video and I was wanting to find out how do you get military freight or who do you contact to start the process.
Hes with jones motor which does 74% so he actually got $3.59 for the load but I see quality lease mud flaps so must be doing the lease purchase deal through them so it could be lower or the same..I thought this was a video to show how to get the military load on your owm..but good job tho
Im in the trucking biz $4.85 a mile ??? Damn govt stuff I quit messing with they seldom paid much over a buck a mile . Have a hell of a time getting a decent rate for yellow iron unless it involves the jeeps and stingers (multi axels I have stuff up to 23 ) I run 5+4 2 sticks and 3 of them have 4 speed aux boxes behind that BTW if that's your truck get rid of that shift extension I had a guy put one on one 18 speed and with the extra leverage he ruined the rails and forks in the trans Wont allow them in my tractors Hard to find good drivers be safe out there .
Ok kiddo I see you had Prime good you got away from them a bad deal for a driver with there lease and speed restrictions until you get it about half paid off Most of my stuff is older and I overhaul them I don't care for all the electronics and to me that Emission system is nothing but a way to cause fires and kill drivers engines run so hot the fuel is closer to flash point I saw a guy on I 80 just scrape a over pass barrier and the damn thing burst into flames !! used to be seldom a fire in a truck accident now its common I have a half dozen new Freightliner SDs And you cant lay your hand on the tanks in hot weather Im sure you know that too if you crash get the hell outta that thing ASAP I tell my drivers that !!
Put some Vaseline on the switch. It will keep it water proof for a while, til you can get a weatherproof switch. Its better to over chain/strap the load than to under chain/strap it. As for the light bar, you can find a combo flood and beam led light bar online, or parts store. That way you only need one light. Take the bracket for it up just far enough off the headache rack that the top of the light bar is even with the top of your sleeper. Then a bracket at each end coming out and up from where the light bar attaches and put your led strobe lights up there. Thats what i would do.
Randee Lewis right on man. Be safe out there. America needs you truckers to keep it goin. My grandpa drove after ww2, and my uncle drove after Vietnam.

Hello , remember it's been some time ago I commented on your straps being over rail rather than inside an a comment about gangs ok ok you remember !

+n49deg yeah man thanks..I'm home right now but soon as I get back on my truck this next week I'll look thru some info and email u no problem
Glad to see you're back Randee and that you are doing good! Great informative videos. With your attitude, dedication and work ethic, the sky is the limit man! Stay safe out there!
+Jake Myers thanks man much appreciated
just found your channel super glad enjoy wathing you work and talk about your loads but would love to see some videos of you doing some driving down the road and talk as we goo but thanks for sharing and be safe
4.85 is a reasonable mileage wish all companies pay this because the risk there is in the road this is the bread and butter of truckers life
+Atabey Media yeah sucks most average out to between $2 n $2.50 mile..would be great if it was regular to get $4 or more
I used to haul military trucks from bae systems near Katy, TX going to ft lewis,wa. $5,000 per truck, pick up multiple units and then put 2 per trailer making a $10,000 load.

Smart
i saw a truck in Houston loaded with a flatbed and a military load..truck was all lit up real nice
You're doing good. Learning every day and be open to new idea's 👍👍👍
Safe Travels brotha man from one Trucker to the Next!
You have a great idea about the lights. Keep on trucking!

there is also a bridge one... and a semi head i think..

Hope to see a lot of strob lights on your truck :P and the 42'' light bar sound pretty good to me :) !

I like your videos keep them comin my brother I love them army loads
The truck is called a Lhs its used to load flat bed rack on it.
I work at Fort Knox for the Army Reserve command. Most of the loads out of here are ones I work with. Jon H, are you still doing these loads?
It's called a PLS, and is a common military truck that carries anything it can hook
That's an LHS, Load Handling System. PLS has one more axle.
Don't take my previous comment to personal ,I understand u are just trying to make as much as you can per load .you are defantly moving in the right direction .

Ok thanks yeah someone suggested a fire hose I just haven’t gotten around to getting one
Just a word of advice, nevada and Georgia you need a permit for an amber/strobe light on your truck
Zane Clossey how do you get the permit. I bought a headache rack with the strobes already on it. They aren't wired
+Zane Clossey is that a permit when u have them on with a load and do I get that when I get my oversize permit?
And in Kailfornia you do too and have to have them covered !!!
GA,NV amber lights are both annual fleet permits in addition to your oversized load permits. Both under $10
+JoePJack1 ok thanks

I think your talking about camp dodge in Johnston sub of Des moines yes they have new gates on south side of base. Your rite military loads pay well.
Been a while since I been on a Military base, did a nice job out of both Florida and Virginia Beach
I see the chains, but can you do a video of how you chain? You said you used 5 chains and 10 binders. I can kind of see it in the video and in my mind, but actually seeing how it’s done helps me more.

Yeah man good luck maybe you will see more of it
Abrams mfg make quality lights, there's fenix lights, speed tech lights, whelen is expensive as all get out, but they are top and so is Code 3. From my understanding Code 3 lights are customizable to suit your needs. I wouldn't go to cheap with emergency lights.
HEMMETT drove these all the time in the military, they haul flat racks and containers for supply transport and trans Load
+5050FUTURE cool man wish they would let me drive it own off the truck
It's actually a PLS Palletized Loading Sustem similar to the HEMMTT My MOS 63S Heavy Wheel Vehicle Mechanic
If you need assistance loading any thing on Fort Hood, let me know. I work for a local tow company with several heavy wreckers to help load. We already work with Iron Planet.
Ok thanks
Thank you for helping to jog my memory Randee. I will certainly make sure I remember that if I ever decide to start pulling a stepdeck again.
+Mark Hawkins no problem
Sweet , there are truckers that deliver loads to Area 51, they drop their trailer off somewhere, not on the facility, go to a motel for the night, someone else moves the trailer, they have no idea what they are hauling, come back the next day hook up, and on their merry way, pays very, very well I understand . They have an escort I heard.
Sounds pretty cool..hopefully one day I get the chance to haul something like that
Less lights the better, less to keep working!
I recently quit from that Blue Beacon in Raphine. I'm going for my CDL soon. Stay safe!
Good luck
For the lights i believe they make a rack that goes up.and you put the light bar on it.good video

Quick word of advice, don't post videos or pics of any military or other agency equipment or loads on social media for any reason, ever. Good luck, be safe.

Toggle switch, they sell a rubber boot that screws directly onto switch to protect it from moisture, check eBay or Amazon. Thanks for the videos!!
+Richard Reynolds ok thanks yeah I'll look into that

James Symonette no problem man
A4, how you tell is the tire on top. Now you have a 1078 LMTV
44000, nice and light. I just dumped 67420lbs of wheat
I am looking at this for business reason, however I believe in giving flattery where due. You are a handsome man
Thanks
Metal coat hangers poked through carpet and chains stop my carpet pieces jumping ship mid journey.
@Randee Lewis do your ramps for your step-deck support 44,000lbs?
Hey, I'm new to this so I might be wrong but looking at the back of you truck,,don't you need reflecting tape at the top of you cab,,,???
I want to thank you for all your videos, like I said I'm new and I'm learning a lot from you,,,,hope to see you on the road,,good driving,,Andy
Why isn't the heavy end of the truck at front of trailer? More weight on drive axles. Just curious.
Is it worth it or should I go back to nursing school
Your loaded good bud! Only thing I can suggest is to negotiate with the broker, those loads pay about $8 plus surcharge. Get ALL your money!!💪🏾💪🏾
2nd load is armored FMTV 2.5 ton
top hauler that is a LMTV two axel is the 2.5 ton
How much on average do these military loads pay per mile. I know you said $4.85 per mile for a short haul. But how much for a Virginia to California load?
Average around $2 and a lil more
Randee Lewis that's good money from coast to coast
Expenses cost so much money, says the guy making 470 a mile with no driver
Great video! Roughly how much does a O/O spend a year? Closer to $75k or closer to 100k?
Closer to 100k but u should make more then double that also
That's what's up with the military it's all excessive but hey if a private owner operator gets a load like this more power to you hey it's all about the dollars, bless that load because of you do well it will be more like that to come
+Atabey Media yeah man plenty of military freight
i knew every single load that was put on my trailer, especially military loads,
A Dragon Wagon is what we called them in the Corps!
You should know what blocks down to the deck so it doesn't roll
Drivers, I'm in Cincinnati, OH. how do i get a step deck to take a freightliner century to Tampa, FL for me?
Great job Mr. Lewis! Keep on trucing!!!
When I bought my headache rack it had aluminum L's going from the rack to the outside of the fairing for the amber strobe
+The W I have this used rack n had nothing but one day I'll get a enclosed one again n hopefully it comes like that
Man you are fuckin awesome. Keep up what you are doing. It's working
Thanks
Another good video and good detail. I'm glad you are getting some good loads, I hope you found some affordable insurance. Is that a 10 speed or 13 ?
10
How do you go about getting military freight? Do u have to be previous military? Or can civilians carry military freight?
Just see them on load board or if brokers have them available..anyone can haul them civilians or whoever has clean background to get into the base
Randee Lewis thank you
I have an in if I want to haul military freight, but im not wonder why
Did you work with a freight agent/broker to get these loads? If so, what's the name of the company? I live near and used to work on Fort Bragg and see these types of loads leaving base all the time.
This was years ago and I don’t remember..I was leased on with Jones Motor Company and using their agents at the time
My suggestion to you would be ask a driver that does OS/OD loads in the truck stop and get his or her opinion, the best way to learn my friend!!!!
+Gary Clark II ok thanks
I would put the light bar/strobe on the cab roof not the sleeper. I like the grill and mirror lights it's all about visibility. Enjoy your videos and humble attitude keep up the good work
+vistalite 1972 thanks and yeah I was thinking about van roof also
I love driving military trucks. I'm a army truck driver
Love ur videos would love to go back trucking but with my injury it sucks but love watching u. oh ya watch ur nationality lol?
+Wilberto Escalera thanks..I'm black n white
Randee Lewis that's what I thought I'm Puerto Rican from New York and my wife is Irish my Boston which it's wierd bc of the sports lol but we have two beutiful mix kids lol
+Wilberto Escalera yeah on first sight everyone thinks I'm Mexican, Puerto Rican, or Dominican..yeah my wife's Hispanic so I have mixed boys also
+Randee Lewis How did you get into hauling military freight? Who are you leased on with?
+Christopher Hill just seen loads on load board and agents calling me with loads..Jones Motor
Thanks.
+June Bug they don’t require it so no need to tarp it unless they want it done
Thanks for response. Great to learn more from trucking industry.
+June Bug no problem
Thanks man, hey if you're ever on zello stop by the stoop few good fellas be in there talking about something or nothing you'll like it
+Jacl Black ok
A lot of good information!!
Randee im reaching out to you brother because that was a great video and I was wanting to find out how do you get military freight or who do you contact to start the process.
It was brokered freight when I was at Jones..
After expenses how much of the 4.85 a mile do you actually pocket? Thanks for info a vid
Hes with jones motor which does 74% so he actually got $3.59 for the load but I see quality lease mud flaps so must be doing the lease purchase deal through them so it could be lower or the same..I thought this was a video to show how to get the military load on your owm..but good job tho
What kind of truck do you have ? And are you owner operator?
have you ever hauled anything to an underground base/city in northwest Arkansas?
No
You should Nail blocks down on the deck so that it does not roll
So what did a Lifetime Background Check end up really being?
Idk they never asked me anything..that’s just what the agent told me
Im in the trucking biz $4.85 a mile ??? Damn govt stuff I quit messing with they seldom paid much over a buck a mile . Have a hell of a time getting a decent rate for yellow iron unless it involves the jeeps and stingers (multi axels I have stuff up to 23 ) I run 5+4 2 sticks and 3 of them have 4 speed aux boxes behind that BTW if that's your truck get rid of that shift extension I had a guy put one on one 18 speed and with the extra leverage he ruined the rails and forks in the trans Wont allow them in my tractors Hard to find good drivers be safe out there .
+Jhon Siders ok thanks for the info
Great videos
What kind of rate did you get for Ft. Hood
+John Essex something around $2.20 mile
Put some Vaseline on the switch. It will keep it water proof for a while, til you can get a weatherproof switch. Its better to over chain/strap the load than to under chain/strap it. As for the light bar, you can find a combo flood and beam led light bar online, or parts store. That way you only need one light. Take the bracket for it up just far enough off the headache rack that the top of the light bar is even with the top of your sleeper. Then a bracket at each end coming out and up from where the light bar attaches and put your led strobe lights up there. Thats what i would do.
+Lee Hilton thanks for the info..I already fixed the switch on trailer and got my lights all online just haven't installed them yet
Randee Lewis right on man. Be safe out there. America needs you truckers to keep it goin. My grandpa drove after ww2, and my uncle drove after Vietnam.
+Lee Hilton thanks man and much respect to those guys who paved the way for us
Randee Lewis learn what ya can from who's left of the old school truckers. Never too old to learn new things.
+Lee Hilton will do
Youre the man. Keep on keeping on.
