  • Sam gives a short tutorial on how to install a Duesenberg Les Trem. This handy bit of kit can convert any stoptail guitar into a tremolo-equipped beast. Much easier than installing a Bigsby, it's a great way to take your LP guitar to the next level!
The Les Trem II is mounted onto the bushings of a standard stop tailpiece and thus requires no modification to the body of the guitar. Take it back off and on again whenever you please!

Great video, thanks. It looks super easy, I need to get one of them for my Epiphone Sheraton.

AMAZING! That trem system is exactly what I've been looking for! Any idea if it can be grabbed in southamerica? Cheers!

Great video, just a thought that the movement of the trem in use could possibly mark the top of some guitars? I guess that the washers help distribute the load and raise the arm slightly. Far less intrusive than a bigsby. 👍

Looks like a roller bridge as well to aid tuning stability?

I'm looking to fit one of these trems on a Duesenberg Caribou guitar with the 3 pick ups and just a one piece, hard tail bridge. I'm guessing additional holes will need to be drilled to fit the trem to this guitar ?

Hi,any videos or information on installing the Goldo Shorty tremolo bridge? I can't find any at all,it's probably extremely easy but I want to get it right.Thanks.

It isn't always that easy. Spacing of the stop bar inserts can vary, particularly on Gibson guitars (the slots/hooks on the end of stop bars have a bit of wiggle room). The hole spacing on the base plate of the Les Trem 2 is less forgiving. Duesenberg has a warning in the instructions that spacing must be exactly 81.5mm or the Les Trem will not fit. I don't know why Duesenberg don't make those holes slightly oval to allow for variation in the insert spacing. If the spacing is slightly out the only thing you can do is lightly file out the holes in the base plate. You do need to use a roller bridge as you have in this video. The only two Nashville style roller saddle bridges I know of that actually roll are the Goldo or the ABM. Lastly the spring in this trem is a bit too strong with lighter string gauges so the up bend range is often very limited.

Does it come with the roller bridge?

What about needing a roller bridge?
