I have to disagree with the Kizaru take. Kizaru was more focused on VegaPunk, if he wasn't, I don't think Luffy would have caught him clean with that attack. But we do know that Luffy gets stronger when he eats right after a fight he was completely fatigued from.

I don't think every straw hat will get an increase this arc considering we just got increases about 2 years ago, Usopp name chopper and Brooke def won't get increases, Franky robin and jinbe can go either way for me, but luffy zoro and sanji def will
People need to realize it was very clear that the WG covered up exactly how much Luffy did in Wano. They want to sell the Narrative that Luffy, Law, and Kidd were equally necessary to beat Kaido and BM.
This may not seem hype, but remember there is only one other pirate the WG has done this to, and thats Rifer himself.

1:01:47- if this is how she goes down- she eventually got dragged down in an arc that should've been Kaido's story alone, with her presence reducing Kaido's own importance- neither look good as both are essentially equalized as the old generation giving way to the new generation, rather than what themes they had individually.
I am really hoping she's still around at least to get some closure with her past on Elbaf.

jinbe might have got his bounty increased because he was an ex-warlord like croc and hancock
not only that even BB got his bounty increased...we saw his bounty was 2.247 bil between act 1 & 2 of wano...then between act 2 & 3 we see him go after hancock (atp we didn't know what he was going after, but now we know) and during the hancock incident, his bounty is 3.996 bil...like what did he do during the events of act 2 that warranted such bounty increase? events of act 2 lasted 2 weeks
First of all the reason Kings bounty may be higher is cus of his race. He was experimented on in that marine laboratory. Once they found out a lunarian escpaed the core enemy to the Cds they gave him a really high bounty. Also because he's Kaidos henchman a former rocks pirate. Would be cool if he got the bounty of 3,56 B beries considering those are the numbers of his devil fruit. Jinbei, No explanation actually. He wasnt even a warlord during impel down which a lot of people forget. Guess cus he joined the Straw hats. He's also a fishman

Depending on how the arc ends, I could see Sanji getting a bigger bounty than Zoro for clashing with 2 of the Gorosei
While realistically Luffy's should go up to at least 4bil, I genuinely think he won't go above BlackBeard's bounty until BB is eventually defeated, but thats just my headcannon lol, so like I think it'll go up to AT LEAST 3.5 BIL or more
I agree and I actually hope that to be the case. I prefer when Luffy enters a fight as the underdog. However everything he’s done at egghead has been crazy so we’ll just have to see. Don’t forget that BB has beat Law, took his Poneglyphs and his crew captured Garp, they also now have the ability to impersonate Saturn (although the government wouldn’t know that) so I it’s very likely that BB’s bounty will be much higher after egghead
god valley being crazier than we think will explain luffy’s “low” bounty going into elbaf. in the kuma flashback, saturn’s on the island when rocks and roger arrive, and what did he do a few chapters ago when it looked like things were out of control: summon the other gorosei. i think we can all easily say gorosei + roger/rocks pirates + garp + god knights is MUCH crazier than egghead, and we know roger’s bounty was 5.5 billion by his death. with the strawhats projected to ESCAPE egghead with the giant’s help, i don’t think we can compare that to what roger did on god valley + him finding the one piece, so luffy being some ways off from him makes sense at the moment.
I think "vegapunk" is more than just a dude. Stella is kind of just a dude, but Vegapunk the entity, in its entirety, is like an abstracted human consciousness or something. It's almost like Nagato and the paths of pain but Vegapunk's satellites seem to still function even after Stella has died. York is still gunning for her CD card, for instance.
Ya gotta stop harping on the 3B for Luffy thing, it's made clear that the Gorosei wanted to cover up how much Luffy actually did and are selling the narrative that Luffy, Law, and Kidd contributed equally.

Imo since Sanji did more than zoro this arc and encountered 2 gorosei, i think Sanjis bounty will be like 1.7 bill while Zoros is 1.8. Its actually a bigger gap between their bounty than their current bounties.

Chopper gets the new highest bounty after awakening and “healing” Saturns mark of Imu making him kill able and shoots to first and his bounty poster names hime Toni leaving chopper as the pet in the eyes of the people as his awakening drains him alot more then luffy so we’d probably only see it once more at the end of the series.kinda dumb i know im just kinda high and wanna see chopper get his hype but strength has never been his focus but i can see his potential awakening being less super saiyan and more doffy and katakuri imposing the will of the fruit on the environment around the user and I kinda see that being how the minks originated and why all these different species are human mixed specifically and I can also see another application being turning Saturn into his human form and defeated by the strawhats

I think the beef take is true on some level but missing a little nuance. Kendrick fans putting drake on the clock was a retaliation for him using the same angle but still taking his time putting out responses. Also drake has a reputation for lying like crazy so it’s easier for people to dismiss his claims than Kendrick’s
If Luffy does not have the highest bounty after Egghead, Oda had better come up with some totally insane stories for what the other Yonkou have done

I think the reason why Jinbei’s bounty is because of the political impact he has from being a former shichibukai which brings its own clout and the sway he has over the fishmen…and on top of that he is a very capable fighter…and unlike before where he was an affiliate of a yonko crew with the straw hats he is a main crew member and not an affiliate which also increase his danger to the world government…which I think justifies his increase from 466mil to 1.1billion
Combat wise sanji is most likely stronger though

I agree that the bounties were underwhelming after wano but that felt very by design.
The WG know exactly who and what Luffy is. They can’t ignore him defeating kaido entirely, but they can down play it for the sake of trying to keep the warrior of liberation rumors at bay. Give him an increase but not so much that people look at it and start to think too much.
After egghead all of that is going to be for naught as vegapunk is telling the world about everything. So I can see them assigning him a bounty that reflects his actual threat level, or at least is more in line with it. As joyboy Luffy should be the most wanted man in the governments eyes. I think his bounty will go to 5 billion flat if there is another bounty increase to come.
If it hits 5.6 billion then that will signal this being the final time the straw hats are assigned a bounty because presumably the next step will be to defeat the WG.
I feel like oda will still keep the 5.6 bounty when he becomes pirate king, so he will get a 4something Billion bounty after egghead, and shanks and BB will get another bounty increase to be higher than luffy till they fight.
I guess the WG will try to put all the spotlight on vegapunk and his message and try to minimize luffy in all of this.

Morj has a terrible take on what actually happened with Kendrick and Drake. Kendrick was initially put on the clock by Drake and akademiks (that is a major part of the beef and is mentioned on tracks by Drake and Kendrick) then after he drops the internet just gives him the same treatment

Before watching the VOD:
If Luffy escapes, anything less than 4 billion is an absolute travesty. Literally no justification. This man is boxing Elders.
Zoro might not get one if he doesn’t fight against an Elder. Even if he runs up on a Vice Admiral and one taps them, I don’t see that affecting his bounty much. If he clashes with an Elder, it might increase some but I just don’t see it.
Sanji might get a modest increase because of clashing with Kizaru, Venus, and Saturn. I can see an increase to make him have the undisputed number 3 bounty. Maybe even getting above Zoro for the meme.
Everyone else is hard to say. Frankly has had some feats, so maybe getting up over 500 million and closer to Robin is possible.
Robin I don’t think is getting an increase. Her bounty is the most accurate of the crew when it comes to threat level to the government.
Everyone else I’m not sure on. They all have done some things that would justify an increase. But I don’t know how much more they can increase with what we’ve seen from other Emperor crews. Realistically Chopper has some room to grow in bounty, but his bounty is a meme and I don’t see Oda getting away from that.
Bonney should get a huge increase. Possibly up to Law and Kidd levels. And if Vegapunk survives in some fashion, he should be right up there too. Higher than Robin is bare minimum for me.

Like I said, my big concern is based on the ceiling we’ve seen for Emperors and Commanders I don’t know how much room there is left to grow in bounty before the Strawhats reach their end of series bounties. And it feels unlikely they would reach that here when there are at least two and probably 4 or more arcs to go.
Although if we find out that Shanks’ and Roger’s crews all have insane bounties maybe there is wiggle room.

It makes sense why Luffy, Kid, and Law had the same bounty number. The three of them collectively took down Kaido and Big Mom, so they each got a bounty of 3 billion berries, which all add up to 9 billion, barely above that of Kaido and Big Mom's combined bounty. Kaido's and Big Mom's bounties were extremely close, so the three who defeated them would be barely higher, and similarly equal to one another.
Jinbe was a Warlord of the Sea who opposed the Big Mom Pirates head on, not being afraid of her, and joined the Straw Hats, a Worst Gen crew, then defeated one of Kaido's top officers. To top it all off, he's on an emperor's crew. The Yonko have such high bounties because they've had decades to incrementally grow them. Luffy's bounty had only increased so much in so little time because of the things he's done in such a short time frame. Kaido and Big Mom and Shanks all did smaller things over longer periods of time, while Luffy did grander things in a shorter period of time. Jinbe was only an allied pirate of the crews of Whitebeard and Big Mom, he himself didn't have the position of a commander or officer, so his bounty didn't increase dramatically. On the other hand, he's a core member of the Straw Hats, one of the most powerful ones, and he's considered an actual officer. It make sense why his bounty would finally go up so dramatically.

I just hate flag bounty increases. Most of the strawhats in Wano getting +300mil just because is so damn lame. The best bounty increase/reveal is still water 7. They all got unique bounties
