Saying Demon Slayer is carried by animation isn't a hot take, it is an objectively wrong one lol. And reducing the story just to 'defeating demons' is super reductive and can be done with any story in existence. Also Muzan best villain and story is defo deep.
Gotta Disagree with that HxH being in the Big 3 take. It's not that I think HXH is worse than any of those. I think it's just as good as One piece in many aspects and better than the other two. BUT we often forget Big 3 is not a term they used for the 3Best anime of that time or anything like that. It's about who SAVED Shounen Jump during the period when there sales weren't doing good in the Mid to late 2000s and that's when One piece, Bleach and Naruto happened and increased the manga sales. In fact the fourth best one during this period sales wise was Fairy Tail (which nowadays is not that well received obviously) but again it was not about the quality of the show but the Impact and manga sales. Whereas HunterxHunter if not for the Hiatus probably wouldn't even Be there in the late 2000s early 2010s. It would probably already be over beforehand and either way it mever reached the Peak Sales of The Actual Big 3. Again not Hating on HXH i prefer it way over Naruto and maybe Bleach too but that's what it is.
I have my own hot take I honestly feel Dr Stone is one of the most underrated new gen shonen bc I feel no one talks about it much I haven’t watched it but ik it’s good like really good

also Fate does not have a good writing youll know this after you watch the show Fate is all about fights and the anime girls (its what carried the VN in the first place)
JJK has a far better protagonist, deuteragonist, tritagonist, antagonists, themes, peaks, dialogue, dynamics, arcs, etc. compared to Demon Slayer, it's nowhere near as carried by animation.
