Looking at at, your ring way could also be used to hold mugs or similar from them inside pushing out, allowing you to engrave more of the thing you're holding without the holder covering any of the item. Would allow for wider and taller designs I gotta get my laser up and running (too many competing projects currently) so I can learn then get one of these! So many ideas!
I am not 100% sure on this but i think they new-ish laser module they now offer can do all sorts of metals so rings should be no problem. The rotary seems great and really do want to get and i know it is on sale but waiting to see if they have a boxing day sale.

But this seems way more versatile than the ortur rotary attachment Edit: looked on their site and says it works with other manufacturers lasers. Will definitely have to get my laser set up and do some projects to learn then get one of these! Thanks for the review!
It does. You’ll need to prep the glass with some sort of spray that the laser can etch and then wipe the spray (paint most likely) away when you’re done.

You should look at the 20W diode for the Pro. More power is always better 👍🏻
