The national anthem was originally made as a reminder of the many people who came together to win Americas freedom. This is how it should be performed at major events, not one ridiculously famous person using it to shove down our throats how great they are, but a choir showing that many people working together can make angelic sound.
@@mellyonthebeat you don't care so much that you couldn't help but come here and comment to try and make everyone feel as miserable as you do 😂you people make me laugh.

Nothing can beat this. I am Swedish and I love America. This makes even me feel like I wanna pick up the rifle and fight for freedom with an American and Swedish flag on my shoulder. America have always been one of our closest allies and I would gladly risk my life for both nations. I remember 9/11 the entire nation of Sweden pretty much stopped. People were crying in the streets and carrying American flags on their backs and buildings were covered in them. The entire square of Sergels Torg in Stockholm a few days after the attack was full of people with American flags, flowers in the thousands covering the memorial, people crying and hugging each other. I don't think I have ever seen anything like that in my entire life. The only thing that come close to that was after the terrorist truck attack in Stockholm in 2017. This made me tear up!

I know that other countries just play their national anthem when the national team is playing or at the start or end of a broadcasting day unlike the US, but it says a lot when we sing it just because. The US has an anthem to be proud of, it sets the point across of what led to us being here, and its willpower. I got to visit the place where the anthem was written at Fort McHenry in Baltimore when I was a kid. We made it in time for a flag changing ceremony, and me being the last in line, I was given the folded flag and had the opportunity to walk it over from one park ranger to another. A moment I'll never forget. I also got to sing the anthem at an Islanders game as part of a middle school chorus. Was I nervous? A little. Is the anthem famously difficult to perfect? Yes. But it isn't about that, it's about unity. Sing it with your heart, and unleash that spirit.

same.. and I wasn't in this hotel.. like ever... but that was amazing
I was fortunate enough to be at one of these hotels when I was younger. I remember sitting outside and listening to them all sing the song "Hallelujah". I also *vividly* remember this guy being dropped off at the hotel SUPER drunk and he started sobbing bc he thought he died, crying out things like "how can I be in heaven? I wasn't a good person!" as his friend helped him hobble over to his room. What a night that was. Wonder how he's doing now.
Damn, just take my heart and crush it to pieces, why don't you?
That's sad, dude knew he wasn't doing good in life and I hope that moment changed his ways
That’s founny

That buildup though before they even started singing gives us straight chills. As proud as I am of our own glorious anthem, I have to give it to the US for having an anthem just as inspirational as ours. This is how you unite the people

The national anthem was originally made as a reminder of the many people who came together to win Americas freedom. This is how it should be performed at major events, not one ridiculously famous person using it to shove down our throats how great they are, but a choir showing that many people working together can make angelic sound.
