Finished modding my controller, this wasnt my favorite tutorial but I watched it alongside L.O.G's video which was more in depth. Having both side by side made it far easier. There were a couple steps omitted in this video which was in the other. I am very happy with the shell I purchased from you guys though, I kept my Sony face plate but swapped out the back plate and all of the buttons, I was worried having two different plates wouldn't close properly but they did! Also appreciate the extra screws in the package and the wedge (really helped to open the controller initially without damaging it), thanks again!
Thanks for your feedback! We made this video a couple of years ago and we are so happy that it helps even now!!! And we've made some improvements to our videos in the past few years, and we will do better in the future! :)
Did this for an Army buddy changed the whole controller. Also gave it bullet buttons and for the grip part I used truck bedliner to give it a rugged feel.
Great shells, but the one I bought seems to have a design error with the home button. The hole is too big so the home button will often get stuck and the shape of the walls to secure it are designed to make fitting the rubber contact over the button impossible.
@@robsmith5434 I changed the controller shell two weekends ago, it's best to watch videos of people taking the controller apart multiple times and have a that video open, once you begin to take the controller apart yourself. Exactly the same thing happened to me

try taking it apart and cleaning around it bc mine had dust built up in it making It sound loud now all of my buttons are a lot more auiet
