thanks to my raging issues I find myself buying these shells every month, it’s helped me save a lot of money, also thx so much for a always making different shells, I got a whole collection of them sitting on my gaming shelf/library, also for my controller the battery stays on so it’s much easier to set apart and put back on the controller is literally one piece and makes the job easier, might be because I smacked it to hard

This is definitely a lot easier then the Nintendo Switch Joycon’s... I started off with the Joycon’s and now watching this, I’m going to buy one of your items soon for my PS4 controller.

I bought this shell and did the mod a few months ago, and I could not be happier. something that is not shown on the amazon page or in videos is that the shell has a rubberized finish, which gives it a super premium feel.
Love the snes so I'll be getting this. Never took a ps4 controller apart though

I like Idea with symbols printed on shell just beside buttons...I’m waiting for some shells that I ordered and I hope they will fit since in last few months PS changed inner part of controller again (rubber for buttons now stand on 3 plastic spikes instead of 4...etc). Love Your work guys, and I hope I will stop on 7th controller...hahaha You make me mod too much :)

ExtremeRate I bought PlayStation pro, 2 weeks ago just regular black release(it was replacement for my older ps pro) and even though all my controllers are JDM-055, these are little bit different, parts that hold d pad rubber and XO buttons rubber are little bit different instead of 4 holding spikes only three are there (one missing) but they are in same places, I will check if other stuff is changed and where, once I get front and back shell from You guys that I ordered :)

I got this as a gift a while back, I love the feel of the controller after assembly, mostly.. but unfortunately the shell doesn't quite line up. I had to adjust the screw hole for the battery housing (no biggie) but even worse off, the shell itself doesn't mesh right. The front doesn't go into the back shell on the right side smoothly, leaving rough edges that aren't too comfortable.
hey I absolutely love your products but I was wondering if you could make some smart triggers/bumpers cause the only way to get them is from a pro controller or I found some german ones

I got my SNES shell yesterday and now I have to wait for my new controller to arrive I had ordered that's coming in 2 weeks and I'm a little nervous to do this shell exchange on the controller.😅
Good luck with the installation! BTW, please make sure the controller is original, there are a lot of fake or refurbished PS4 controllers now due to its stopped production! Both of the fake and refurbished ones have the different structure on the middle frame bracket so they won't fit our shell, our shell only fit to the total original PS4 controller.

Hello! After i changed my shell from my DS4 Controller, Everything fitted well, but than i noticed, my L2 ist Not perfectly working, so if i press l2, in a shooter for example, the trigger just goes in and out, so i scope and unscope ingame so many times, but i am Holding l2. Do you understand me? The further i turn the screws out on the back of the case, the worse it gets... i dont know what to do :(
Please check the rubber pad of the L1/L2 if it was installed sturdy.
Extremerate you people really need to make a grip for the ps4 dawn remap kit cuz mostly I like to use my controller with a grip to make it feel bigger and comfortable

I mean, Sony was originally working with Nintendo, and the PlayStation was going to be called the Nintendo PlayStation, but Nintendo decided not to work with Sony last minute. Controller looks awesome tho.

OMG OMG OMG I was practicing on my old but still usable controller and i completely froze I was scared to do anything i broke some of the clamps on the shell OMG is it bad I am really scared to do this now any tips. it would mean a lot to me
Don't worry about the clams, if they broke the controller still works and there is just minors extra gap between the front and back shell without them. Check the controller if it still functional before you put the front and back shell together. The difficulty of this project is just medium. Good luck!!!

Yes, CUH-ZCT2* is the Gen 2 PS4 controller (also you can find a lightbar on the touchpad)
@@ExtremeRate the PS button on the inside is different from the one on the original controller... I cannot place the gel piece on the SNES shell... uh??????????
@@xDebts There are 2 different types of the PS button in Gen 2 controller, and we made our faceplate to fit them both, but that will make the installation of the gel piece is "clip" instead of "stick". If you don't understand what we mean, please let us know the JDM number of your controller (printed on the PCB board of the controller), and we will make a short video for you to show the installation.

@@ExtremeRate the vibration motors just came off I didn't know what to do. And I left the controller on when I was fixing it, it's dead.

Nah it won't. The 1st gen and 2nd gen controllers have different back plates than each other. And eXtremeRate only makes things for 2nd gen most of the time. Noticed this when I tried putting an eXtreme rate kit on a first gen controller, the back plates (where the triggers are) are different
