I just tried this for the first time and started crying so hard. I’ve been going through a very difficult time and trying to heal my traumas and something about the movements made me feel a connection to myself again. I plan to keep it up, and allow my body to keep releasing what is no longer needed anymore. Thank you 🙏🏻

Tried this and started crying mid-practice. Felt like a familiar place. Then felt sad about how the world could be much better. Was reminded how sacred it is to be alive and to be shepherds of the living world. Thank you for sharing this!

Jonathan nice to meet you, I just wanted to comment that I had a similar experience but not because of this routine. I have never tried this routine I just watched the video, but your comment reminded me when I tried this meditation for the first time ever.
It was a simple guided meditation where there was a gentle voice helping me to keep my mind clear and help put me in a peaceful state of mind.
I did feel very peaceful, next thing you know the tears were flowing, I said where has this been my whole life, why have I not ever come here, I have discovered something beautiful, and it is within me, and it made me cry,
I've lived a long life of drug addiction and alcoholism from which I was delivered and I'm better now but... I think my mind hadn't been in a calm state like that ever in my life, I had never felt a peaceful feeling such as this ever in my life, and I think it was tears of joy actually, like something got unlocked, something pure and beautiful. And it's almost like I touched the pure, and it was so pure, it broke my heart and made me realize things, but in a sweet beautiful way.
I believe God was there in the room with me,
I'm a Christian so for.me it would be God. The sovereign God where love comes from.
Infact, brother, just writing this made me begin to cry.
Life IS so special. It's so short, and in that because of that, it's even more beautiful. And sacred.
I only did this once, never experienced it again, it was a few years ago. But right here right now, writing this, I've decided that I need to go back there, and I need to do it more often, and put my mind in that peaceful place, so that I can slow down and take a look at my self and my own consciousness.
I'm a very stressed person in a high stress job, business owner IT guy, I lost both my parents over the past 3 years, my mom was 56 I miss her a lot. But I know that one day I will see her again.
I think I need to meditate again, there's something there and it was for me. And I neglected myself by neglecting to go back there, after the beautiful experience.
I can see now that I need to go back there, for myself, for the people around me, tools like this are beneficial, to help me be a better person to the people that love me and that I love and those i encounter on my journey.
And it helped me see myself in those brief moments, and I saw that I wasn't as bad as I thought I was, and that I might even be able to appreciate myself. Yes, just sitting here writing this, I have just in this moment discovered many reasons to embrace the practice.
Gentleness is underrated, God bless you Johnathon, for sharing your honest heart, which inspired mine, to do something for my being, which led me to the thought process that I need to take better care of my inner self. Thank you sir.
May you find Peace in your heart, sir. 🖖

I am practicing qiqong meditation about 18 to 19 days. Yesterday I was suffering from High fever and having cold chills in my body. I don't know wht come in my mind. I started breathing in balanced manner and inhaling love and compassion in my mind and exhaling fever in my thought process. After sometime my body started to get warm as same as you feel after taking medicine when your fever goes down. After taking proper rest Now my fever is gone. I think indirectly it's due to this practice it get possible. My suffering got less . Well ! I started this meditation to treat anxiety , it is also helping there. Thanks brother. 😊

I'm so happy that I found you! My husband is an expert in all the Oriental Martial Arts, but was shot in the lower spine in the line of duty as a Federal Marshall, was completely paralyzed from the head down for 18 months, but with treatment from a Chinese Doctor, speech and physical therapy, learned to talk and walk again. He is 69, now, has neuromuscular disintegration and much pain from his shattered vertebrae and disinegrating disc, but is still trying to remain active. I would love to see him practice his Martial Arts Exercises, once again! So I'm sharing your beautiful video with him!

Ok here goes….I did this routine this morning…..and I can confirm that this routine made me sweat immensely. I don’t know why as it’s not so intense.
However I can confirm that my battered knee which gives me constant pain night and day (I had a footballing injury years ago which resulted in a full patella femoral reconstruction) has suddenly stopped.
I am on my way to work and the usual pain I suffer from is nowhere to be felt.
Weird after just 1 workout as a result I will be doing this every day now.
An easy 15 mins routine….and if it only alleviated my knee pain then the exercise has already paid dividends.
Good luck to all of you in your journey to health.

I have had hip and back pain due to an old injury and I randomly tried the 15 minute practice when it showed up in my recommended with some friends. Even though we did the exercises completely wrong and made fun of each other I noticed my back was better. After going through your other videos on a consistent basis it has helped tremendously with not only my pain but fixing my posture and even losing weight. Not to mention helping me feel less anxious and better about life in general. Thank you for doing these videos and sharing this gift with the world.

I learned a lot of this from a Sikh Martial Artist. All the movements originate from handling weapons and tools. At shastar vidya you start with weapons and, when you advance in mastering the weapons, you drop them and are left with open hands. Fascinating experience. All these MAs learn from the same source, the human body and mind. We just have to do it, over and over again. Thanks, Nanak.
