Four years ago, I fought for my life and was the winner of that difficult story. They banned me from a lot of physical activity. However, I listened to my inner voice. I felt the need to move, to exercise... to be a winner again. I literally wrote every word of you, dear Shi Heng Yi. I keep all your advice in one big notebook... And I read them every day. Then I watch your videos. And then I do Ba Duan Jin. Yi Jin Jing. And Luohan Style... The way I know best. I've discovered this video last night, and today I've tried it for the first time in my life. I've never felt this type of energy in my life even though I was trying to breathe correctly and checking the video all the time to try to implement the movements correctly at the same time. Everything has changed in my life especially in the past year, spiritually and mentally. And I'm grateful for this video to came up on my field. I'm writing this to come back to this comment a year later to see the differences. It's April 4, 2024, I'm 22 years old and I will be replying this comment back in April 4, 2025. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Day 10 update: I honestly cannot believe it's been 10 days already. I got better with the movements and at least I try to focus on the moment more than what I'm going to do next. Horse stance a little bit challenge but I started to understand the movement better and I'm trying to fix it with every day. I sometimes have a little bit knee pain for 2-3 minutes right after the practice but I'm working on that as well. They say on the internet that horse stance or ma bu is actually good for knee pain and knee strength so doing it correctly will solve it in the long run I believe :)

@@hgo95 My knee pain drastically reduced in the past couple of days actually. My sleep schedule and diet was a little bit off and i think that affected my recovery as well. I also recorded the exercise for few days and realized that I was not doing the ma bu as I should be doing. Thank you so much for your comment and recommendation, I’ll keep that in mind. I was already thinking about doing some stretching and mobility exercises without pushing too hard, hope they’ll work out well. Thank you 🙏

When the student is ready the master shall appear. 🙏
There are 8 things I practise daily for my own feminine mastery.
    1. Nutrition
    2. Sleep
    3. Movement
    4. Joy
    5. Gratitude
    6. Read
    7. Meditate
    8. Loving self care of my physical body
These things help me to regulate myself, process challenges, find acceptance and live to serve my purpose.
If I feel lost, a short nap followed by a refocus to my 8 once again restores my flow and I find I have the strength to go on.
It seems I did not find this practise, it found me.
It has always been this way for me. When the season is right, the needed thing will appear.
We are heading into the autumn months now where I live and this practise truly suits my 5ams.
Thank you for your guidance. I see you. I am very grateful. 🙏

When we come to the end of the routine we use those few moments to feel grateful for 3 things in our lives and the flow of energy is so obvious (eg tingly fingers) that I am able to help my clients understand about the energy in and around us. I was dismissed from my job a few days ago. This announcement shocked me a lot and led me into darkness for a few days. But I am not ready to give up and so I started searching. The universe led me to this Shaolin Qi Gong 🙆🏻‍♂ 20 Minute Daily Morning Routine with Shi Heng Yi this morning and I am infinitely grateful. During the exercise the tears could finally flow and I noticed how my body started to sweat despite the slow exercises and at the same time an incredible relief came over me. My body, mind and soul were stretched, towards the sun and I feel relieved. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. I will recommend it to my children so that they in turn can show it to their children. Changing a circumstance you don't like starts with taking the first step and accepting that in life both sides exist, Yin and Yang, and are not mutually exclusive but complementary. I think the wisdom lies in accepting unpleasant circumstances, learning a lesson from them and then coming out stronger. Without my dismissal, I might not have discovered this morning routine, which is good for me. And so all is well.

I have been practicing Ba Duan Jin for more than 10 years daily for 35 minutes. That set of exercises is amazing for balance, for quiet the mind, for strengthen the body and for bring flexibility to body. But I notice that Qi Gong bring more than that, it brings vitality and even resiliency for the practitioner. In my house everyone practices it at least five days a week. When I first watched and followed along with this video, I could barely maintain the horse stance for the entire Drawing the Bow section, never mind the rest of the forms. But I remember one of your other videos where you said to just do what I can, and I always keep in mind regarding starting something and going all the way. So I persisted and I completed my first session by mostly standing higher during the sections where the horse stance was used but only as high as I needed to. It took many weeks but eventually I could perform all the forms with a proper stance from start to finish.
That was two years ago now. I know the forms by heart (but I won't claim to have mastered them as I don't believe I am anywhere near that) and still go through the forms most mornings when I can make time for it. That was the start of my journey to a healthier lifestyle, both physically and mentally.
Thank you so much for your teachings. 🙏

When I was in the 7th pose Clenching Fists w/ Angry Gaze, which is my favorite btw, I realized how lucky we all are to live in the internet/information age, where one can access this Promethean-grade knowledge. I'm practising this for a week now and honestly, I feel amazing! Full of joy, energy, and I'm SO relaxed! But I think the best description is: I feel balanced (just like you said in another video how someone should feel during the whole day). Also, I'm neither too fast in my actions (like too hasty) nor too slow (like not energetic at all and almost sleepy).
I meditate every single day and I also do strength training on a regular basis, and this practise really just balances everything. For me, it works even better than Yoga. Normally, I'm an introvert person and when I meditate too much, I kinda get "too internally" and when I meditate less and do my workouts, I feel too stressed somehow. But this practise seems to be my personal Holy Grale.
So with that said, thank you so much master Shi Heng Yi!! :) this video is perfection in itself. Even the contrast of the white snow and your burgundy red clothing simply looks wonderful! Glady, I'd like to see more of such Qi Gong practises with you alone, because if there are too many people in the video doing the practise, I cannot really focus. It's like "there's too much going on in the video". Also, one cannot see the movements so good. But that's just how I see it. So again: Thank you!!

I just don't do long yoga practices anymore because now after doing gi gong for some days, I found that standing exercises work better for me as I have an office job where I sit all the time anyway, but some positions are worth to keep practicing from yoga, of course. I also switched now to other qi gong exercises which are more fluent. In summary: I just do that kind of exercise I need on the specific day, so it can vary :)

This practise is something amazing. Do it frequently and your life changes for much better; more focus, more energy, smoothness, and stronger inner connection. This is awesome. Practising once a day is great, early in the morning. Practising twice, also before sleep at night makes an amazing experience, in a short period of time you feel rested. Thank you master for this heavenly gift. ❤

I really loved this routine. I am 70 and I don't usually do any exercise except for moving around the house and I have been feeling the need to do something so I started looking for something that would interest me. Long time ago, I did Qi Gong for some time and I have been trying several videos for beginners but felt bored. This video had all my attention the whole time, didn't even feel the time running. I think that when I saw the image on the video, it challenged me because you feel that you're going to move forward in whatever stage you are right now. I still need to check the breathing. Of course, I feel good after doing it. Thank You and Blessings to All

So I was procrastinating studying more than 1 year and because of that I have different mental ilnesses. And about 3 months ago I have understood that I have to do something against it. A couple days before I found master Shi Heng Yi on youtube. His tedd talk. After that I watched some more of his videos and it motivated me so much that I don´t want to give up anymore. Yesterday I tried Qi Gong for the first time, and studied 5 hours after school... I was not even able to study for 2 hours after school before...
And now I even see all the routine mistakes I did.
Thank you so much Master Shi Heng Yi, you are helping me to change my life right now.

Emotions that I’ve held into, blockages finally releasing…thank you 🙏🏽 I will definitely be doing this again. I just came across this practice by accident. But maybe it was no accident x I am new to Qi Gong and this is my first time doing it, so I wasn’t sure if many people experienced the same thing as me.

Seriously appreciate Shi Heng Yi and the Shaolin Temple for sharing these videos and talks, and making them accessible to the general public. Thank you. A lot of the talks and practices have gotten me through some pretty intense and challenging times over the last several years (and helped with keeping a positive mindset through it all). Truly grateful for practices like this. I'm now in the midst of trying to solve a lot of chronic health issues and injuries and having to step back from more intensive martial arts training, and a career path I loved but that was putting my body to the max, and I remembered to return back to this. I can already feel the shift in my body (and mind) with practices like this. It is truly healing and does something that most other standard "medicine" can't, and it seems to be the common story from everyone else sharing their experiences. One plus of modern technology is that there is the ability to share truly healing and strengthening arts and practices like this. Thank you, again and I hope others on here find healing and strength in their own journeys as well. Don't give up, there's always a light even when you can't see it! 💪🏻

I practice QiGong for years now. There are so may different techniques, but the shaolin QiGong does something for me. I can't put it into words. It feels like I'm just me in this crazy but beautiful world. There were times when I was very stressed, unhappy in my life and suffered from anxiety attacks. QiGong has always helped me to focus on the essentials and to be aware of where my journey is going. I love this symbiosis of movement and strengthening of body and mind. In combination with strength training, I have developed a completely different self-image and design my life accordingly.
So thanks to Shi Heng Yi for all the impulses and exercises you share with us. This routine in particular makes it clear to me how much steadfastness I have developed through QiGong over the years. In the meantime, I even enjoy observing myself and my physical development, because I keep noticing how differently and calmer I deal with my outside world. In another video, Shifu once said that there is nothing we can do about the obstacles life throws at us except be prepared. He is right and QiGong definitely helps with that.
    So thanks again Shifu. 🙏
