Thank you for showing us these real life simulations. Excellent safety systems. I can go for hours about my experience with the various MBs I’ve had and the feel of how the various controls warn, react and assist.

    How about Mr. Benz taking a Unimog U 4023/U 5023 or the shorter wheel base Unimog U 219 - U 535 for a spin?

You were sitting in the vehicle. Did you not experience a strong bolting sensation through the seat look into your lower back. I own one of the early model EQE and I have experienced the assistive breaking, but not in a situation where a car stopped in front of me, nor a child jumped in front of me, nor a motorcycle crossed my path but A much more simple and rudimentary scenario where there were no obstacles present whatsoever, and I was simply backing up in rear gear. There was no pedestrians in the vicinity within 5 to 6 m from the car. There were no cars in the vicinity, no motorcycles or bicycles, nothing and the vehicle all by itself suddenly decided to break, but not just any brake but a break that felt like the vehicle had impacted a cement wall, and I was almost sure that there was no chance that this was a safety break by the choir and that I had in fact seriously damaged the car by not seeing a cement wall behind me. Unfortunately the jolt was so strong that I could not get out of the car. My lower back had given in and I had to call for emergency services to attend and collect me and take me to the hospital. I was in the hospital for two days. I had a epidural injection after having a MRI and CT guided epidural injection in my lower back in order to ease the information caused by the jolt and I was released. I was hoping this was some form of random isolated incident because there was absolutely nothing behind my car when the ambulance collected me. I was driven past the rear of my car as per my request and there was absolutely zero damage nor any obstacles nor had my car hit anythingSo clearly, I concluded the car had stopped by itself without any obstacles, causing any sort of danger. I still hoped this was some sort of random incident by the complex electronics off the car, but I took the caution to reported to Mercedes-Benz Bremen where the car is manufactured and two weeks later I had heard nothing I called again again. I didn’t hear anything and a week later I had the exact same incident again this time with another passenger in the car, my wife, the car suddenly jolted when I was driving in reverse there was no obstacles anywhere close to the car and the car just jolted as if it hit. It hit a brick wall and my wife and myself suffered once again back damage and ambulance collected myself, but my wife was able to walk to the ambulance and sit next to me and we were both taken to hospital. She was released the same day. Once again. I had to have an epidural guided injection under CT and I was released two days later. I then reported the incident to a local dealer in the UK, who was as surprised as we were who said they would take action who were also dumbfounded why Mercedes-Benz Bremen had never followed up to at least at the minimum find out. To have some form of case study in order to improve the car, if not to attempt to fix and amend my vehicle so that this never happens again. Mercedes EQE and possibly EQS, but I can’t vouch for each US as I don’t own one, but the EQE is certainly putting to shame the Tesla Phantom breaking that many many hundreds if not thousands of drivers have experience with Tesla. I would seriously recommend in order to ensure that this matter is dealt with as many other drivers have. I’m short experience, exact same as I have. I would request that you share this information with your contacts at Mercedes-Benz headquarters in Germany, and or the Mercedes-Benz Bremen plant where this vehicle is manufactured. It is very much possible that the vehicle that you test drove today was a different model, meaning it had different seats. I could clearly see that the seats in your vehicle had the special diamond or new or diamond style stitching. My vehicle is leather and Alicantra without any sort of design hence the seat is clearly different, and most certainly the structure of the seat could be very well different, hence, when you were in the car, the seats In your test vehicle had a proper foam structure in the back side of the seat hands cushioning the effect of the sudden stops so perhaps you did not experience the heavy brick and cement like jolting an impact although having watched the video today, I’m almost sure that irrespective of the type of seat that was in your car. You must’ve felt something in your back because my wife and I cannot have and be an isolated incident.

This also happened to me a couple of times & I was so fortunate enough that there were no cars behind me which would hit my car in those situations. I was also fortunate to not suffer from any health issues afterwards & I could leave the car without a scratch. I hope you are doing better now & I only wish you the best for the future! I have been at the testing facilities & they are testing those situations thousands of times & of course sometimes you may have some malfunctions.
