Leased an EQE 500 about a month ago. Loving it, it has exceeded my expectations. MB USA offers 2-year free charging + all other tax rebates etc.
Can't wait to buy it starting at 80 grand to save money on gas

An excellent review. The EQE is certainly a fantastic EV but at a very high price. I'm sure those lucky enough to be able to afford it will really enjoy it. Sadly I'm not one of those lucky enough but can't wait to see if Mercedes will make C class and A class saloon EV's.
There's only gonna be a CLA Coupé and Shooting Brake, no electric A-Class and B-Class.
I have the EQS 580❤❤, i can't explain how much i am happy with this car, after i have sold my old Tesla Model X falcon headache wings doors.

Great review. I think you are one of the only reviewers on TH-cam that actually seems surprised by so many others complaining about the room in the back seat of one of the models in the Mercedes EQ line. As far as this owner of a 2023 AMG EQS, there is plenty of room in the rear seat. It seems to me that it might be just some personal issues with all those reviewers regarding EVs in general or maybe Mercedes in particular.
How much did it cost you? You happy with it?

Nicely presented... but at what price... only for the rich. Nevertheless, the strategy of Mercedes is the right one : deliver premium in EV. It's the best decision to remain in the market : avoid competition in price by staying in the niche of luxury.

I bought the EQE AMG for my wife last week and this week I pushed it to its limit and boy I was shocked. The car is unbelievably good to a point whereas my jaw dropped. I am a Sports car V6-V8 guy and I saw so much potential in this EQE AMG. Launches like a rocket 677hp. Stable as F. Quality screams. Yes no engine noise for us car guys, but man the car is unbeatable. Love it so far and my wife is in love with her car. I strongly recommend it.

0:53 - did you mix up the “350” with the “53 AMG”? The 350 has a rear motor and 292hp (other markets get more versions).

I find it odd that the EQE does not get a hatch system at the back, but a boot. While it's bigger sibling, the EQS, is a hatchback 8-\\...
So why didn't Mercedes make the EQE with a hatch as it's more suited for a family while the EQS is more of an executive car?

I have the exact same model but I don´t have the ambient lighting stripe obove the air vent. Is there a reason for this? I don´t have the amg interior

Everything swell but! Can I drive it at a sustained rate at 200 kmh on the Autobahn? If so how long before I need to charge again?
You can power train wise, but the battery will drain like crazy. I’d imagine 1 hour to 1:15h is realistic until having to recharge.
Living in Germany, I never got the chance to drive for an hour at 200kph, but maybe you’ll get more luck.
@LarsRR exactly. I drive to my client across Germany every month and literally never had opportunity to drive 200+ for more than a little while. People need to get real with their demands and expectations. Having said that I have to admit EQE is not like my other v8 with 100 litre gas tank.
Can you disable the fake engine noise altogether?
Yes, there’s a toggle to turn it off.
Have the AMG version and it is certainly quick enough! Having a real problem with the glass roof cracking and M-B won't repair under warrantee

I have the EQE 350, not enough power, I wish I had the 500 or AMG. I traded it in with BMW iX M50 (almost double the power)
Model 3 does not weigh 1444 kg. It is at best 1650-1750 Single motor and 1850-1950 dual motor or some sources quote 2000kg in other words a reviewer should do his due diligence or at least remember the facts if remembering is too much a sticky note is advisable.
Great point a sunroof with a real shade and it opens omg,not a rubbish panoramic glass roof that doesn't open
The front interior in this car is incredible, but there are 2 things that i just cant get over from this car. I agree with that the backspace is not bad but the seats in the back just dont work for me, very uncomfortable. And the big nono is the design of the car. It just does not look like a mercedes, it reminds me more of budget brand car than a mercedes. I personally feel like mercedes has changed their priorities to appeal more to the chinese market and the brand itself has lost a alot of its brand value for me the last couple of years.
Also no frunk and the goofy brake pedal movement under regen
my EQE 350 is single motor, you only get 2 motors with the 4matic

Correction: EQE doesn’t come with Level 3 automatic driving. Unfortunately! Otherwise I love it and recommend everyone to get the hyper screen. It’s definitively worth it.

Unfortunately, this car, just like any other EV, is purely rubbish.
My favorite part about this car is the feeling of the PAIN of African children who mined the battery materials in Africa with their HANDS. HAND mined by 4 year old African kids car! Wonderful! When I push that accelerator, I can FEEL the PAIN of the African kids who lost their parents while mining toxic battery materials with their HANDS! 😊 Can I hear "African kids crying" when I accelerate??

@@danielf_swe That’s interesting. The differences between the S-Class and the EQS are minuscule (e.g. no Burmester 4D for the EQS). And in some things such as sound isolation and drivetrain smoothness the EQS is a notch ahead the regular ICE model. How I know this? We switched our company’s fully-upgraded S580e to a brand new fully-upgraded EQS450+.
